this was fantabulous!
and the crazy funny fight arjuhi had was the best part and main attraction of this update!those scenes made me remember how i miss kmh!the older generations and younger generations of singhania and ahluwalia families are trying hard... only the middle generation doesn't understand!i am getting some vague ideas as to what is going on! linking arjun's memory in the last part with something from earlier updates... the jogging away part lit a bulb somewhere! and you do leave hints as to what is happening which makes you a wonderful writer!and i am keeping my theories and ideas to myself!waiting for you to return on 18th! and write the way you write now as it makes us feel that we are watching kmh and that it hasn't end in that stupid rushed way!
Part 7
"Chachu?" Arohi's head peeped in through the small crack of the office door. Rajveer's head lifted from the file that he was studying as he smiled at Arohi. Arohi stepped in to his haven, the small office space in the house where he worked from, shutting the door behind her.
"Kahan gayi thi?" Rajveer asked his niece. He had expected her to be home when he came and upon not finding her he had felt an unusual restlessness. Rajveer had grown so used to seeing her every evening coming back from work and every morning before going to work. It made him aware, made him realise, how much he had missed his friend. And he would never lose her again, he will make sure he is there for her. He will keep a tab on her life and whatever is happening in it, he will win her trust again.
"Mall. Shefali ko shopping karni thi. Aur mein bhi bore hogayi thi, isliye socha usse company de doon." Arohi approached the table and picked up the files that he was looking at. "Kuch pata chala?" She asked him browsing through a file in her hand.
"Nahi. Aur saboot dhundne ki koshish karrahe hain." Rajveer was not comfortable discussing the case with her. He was still not able to gauge how she felt about the whole thing, especially after coming back. They had never discussed her betrayal, or his vow to put her behind bars when she supported Arjun. It was off limits to discuss this, and hence he had held himself back from asking her about why she did what she did. He still believed Arjun was not innocent, but did she?
"Hmm... Daddu ki tabiyet ab bohat achhi hai. I wish unko jaldi se hosh aajaye."
"Me too. Dad ke hosh aane se kaafi cheezein clear ho jaayengi." Rajveer studied Arohi's face to look for any clues which will give him a glimpse inside her mind, her heart. Arohi smiled at him in agreement and moved towards the door. She turned at the door when he called her.
"Arohi... tuney mere jeep ki duplicate chaabi dekhi hai kya???"

Arohi in a white saree... Arohi in the white gown.
Arohi smiling as rose petals fell on her... Arohi swinging the dress from side to side grinning.
Arjun shut his eyes in frustration and punched the bag hanging from the ceiling in front of him. His red gloves connected with a 'thud' against the sand filled bag which swung back with the force, it had just received. Arjun held the bag as it swung back to him, his eyes still lost in the images he was trying to rid himself of. Finally giving up, he pushed the punching bag and moved to the bench to drink water. He needed his mind to be alert and nothing helped him concentrate better than a boxing session, but it was of no use today. His mind has had a taste of running around unleashed and it was liking it. He found it difficult to push it back in to the disciplined mode... like a child made to study after coming back from vacation.
"Any problem beta?" Rudra Pratap Singhanias deep voiced reached Arjuns ears as he stood in the doorway observing his prodigal son.
"No dad. Khanna deal ke baare mein soch raha tha. Unki meeting Tuesday ko haina? I need tomorrows day to do my homework before we meet them." Arjun stood up from the bench, removing his gloves. He started gathering his stuff to go back to his room for a shower.
His dads stern voice stopped him.
"Meeting Thursday ko postpone hogayi hai. Tuesday you have to be somewhere else."
His dad always spoke in riddles and Arjun was aware of it. However, this time since his mind was fogged, he could not figure out where he had to be on Tuesday. Frowning at his lack of ability to focus, he looked questioningly at his dad.
"Tuesday ko tumhari court mein taareekh hain. Tumhare aur Arohi Ahluwalia... I mean Singhania, ke divorce ki."
Arjun froze at this piece of information which had unknowingly slipped his mind. So many shocks in one day were not going to go well with his fragile heart.

"Oww... Oww... Oww..." Romit yelled in pain as dadi twisted his ear till it became red, all the blood in his body rushing to it.
"Khotiya... Mainu bataa nai sakna tu! Hainnn... Inna bada hogaya hai ki apni dadi se baatein chupaayega!" Teji Singhania was furious. Her favourite great grandson could not meet his mother because her idiot grandson had been planning something else behind her back, and had been successful in it.
That hurt more... that he was successful in his planning and she wasn't.
"Dadi meri baat toh sunoh..." Romits voice was laced with pain as he tried to reason with the most dangerous Singhania female known to him.
Why had he thought that he can share this small significant victory with his friend?!! He had been so happy when he came back from the mall. Arjuns anger and unusual amount of scowling had confirmed his simmering feelings for Arohi. Bhabhis eyes and her gestures had given him the hope that she still longed for his brother. When she gave him the gift for Raj, he was about to cry he thought, if he was a girl that is. But he definitely felt like crying. And like a fool, he had come home and given the gift to Raj and told him every single detail about the plan and what happened at the mall.
And what did Raj do. He immediately ran to his favourite dadi and told her everything. Bloody tattle tale!
He felt his left ear going numb as he held on to his dadis hand, pleading her to not deform him for life. She should be happy and proud of him! Isnt this what she wanted too? Dadi left his ear and smacked his head.
Raj stood in the corner watching this small encounter with his hands folded on his chest. When he came to know that his mom had sent a gift for him, he was over the moon. He had caressed the gift, the box, and the wrapper in which it was wrapped, knowing that his Arohi mom had wrapped it lovingly for him. Suddenly Rashi's words in the park flashed in his mind as he realised what exactly had happened here.
FLASHBACK
"Raj beta... Kya aapko ye surprise pasand aaya?"
"Yes mom no 2." Raj smiled as he was running around between the swings, slides and the see-saws.
He stopped suddenly and looked at her. "Mein jaanta hu ki yeh aapka original surprise nahi tha. Lekin wo jo bhi tha, im sure I would've loved it too." He ran away towards the merry-go-round as his brand new friends from the park started calling him.
Rashis eyes filled with tears. Raj reminded her so much of Arjun. He too had gone through so much, so early in his life. Never having accepted by his father, a mother who abondaned him, finding parents who constantly fought with each other, and finally to be left behind with an adopted mother and a family in which many of the members hated him. All of this had made him mature for his age. This child could sense your feelings by your body language. He was too smart to be considered as nave.
"Tumne thik socha Raj. Ye mera original surprise nahi tha." Rashi decided to confess to Raj on their way home in the cab. He deserved it.
"Mein tumhe batana chahti hu, lekin tumhe mujhe promise karna hoga ki tum disappoint nahi hoge."
Raj nodded in approval waiting for her to continue.
"We had planned to take you to meet your Arohi mom today. It was a surprise for both of you." Raj's eyes shone with excitement and happiness at the thought of meeting his mom.
"Woh jo ACP hai jisse hum miley they, police station mein? Woh tumhari mom ke chachu hain... Rajveer chachu. Jab mujhe pata chala ki woh ghar jaarahe hain to mujhe woh plan on the spot cancel karna pada. Arohi ki family nahi chahti ki wo humse koi bhi rishta rakhey. Tumse bhi. Im sorry beta, but I promise ki mein tumhe Arohi se milne jaroor le jaaungi."
Raj listened in silence as his Rashi mom explained to him. He was not a fool. He could sense the hostility towards his Arohi mom in the house, probably the same was extended towards his dad in hers. He may be small to not understand why this was happening but he was old enough to figure out the facts. And now that he knew the original plan, he could not wait to meet his Arohi mom.
Looking at Rashi, he excitedly asked her, "Kab???"
FLASHBACK ENDS
"Bevkoof... Agar tu Arohi aur Arjun ko milaane ki planning karraha tha toh bata nahi sakda??? Khamakhaa mera plan fail karvaa diya. Aur itna time bhi waste..." She had conveniently kept the tiny 'Rajveer going home' detail from him. Toh kya hua?? Agar Rajveer ghar nai jaata toh bhi her plan would've failed due to Romit and he needed to know that.
Romit stared at his dadi as if she was demented. Kaunsa plan fail karva diya? Main to dadi se milaa tak nahi!!!
Raj saw his chachus confused bewildered face and rolled his eyes. Romit was acting as if he has thousands plans up his sleeve and has no idea what exactly dadi was talking about. Why was his chachu so dumb? Were all chachus supposed to be like this? Was mom's chachu also a duffer??? He remembered Rajveer and felt that he was a little scary to since hes in police department, but not as scary as his dad. Poor Arohi mom, he could totally understand how it feels to have a dufus for an uncle!
"Aufffoh... chachu! Aaj Rashi mom mujhe Arohi mom se milaane le jarahi thi. Lekin mein unse mil nahi paaya kyuki AAP aur Shefali aunty unhe mall le gaye!!! Sab gadbad kardiya." Raj finished with his hands on his waist, glaring at Romit.
Romits eyebrows shot up as realisation dawned on him. Completely forgetting his throbbing ear, he rounded up on dadi. "Mujhe kaise pata chalega ki aapke dimag mein kya hai. Aapne bhi toh aapka plan mere saath share nahi kiya."
Dadi shot him a look and Romit stepped back scared. Maybe he had gone too far.
"Mera matlab tha ki hum saath mein plan karte they naa."
"Usse kya hota?? Woh dono ne milke to jhagda hi karna hai aakhir. Raj ne mujhe sab bataya."
"Arre nai dadi. Actually hamare paas jo information thi usse humne use karke plan kiya. Lekin humne usse properly use nahi kiya. Agar hum uss information ko properly use karte to usska plan mein koi use hota. Par ab hamare samajh mein aagaya hai ki usse sahi tarah se use kaise karna hai. Isliye ab jab hum plan karke usse use karenge to usska barabar use hoga." Romit finished looking excitedly from dadi to Raj.
They both stared at each other and then at Romit. Dadi stepped near to Romit looking at him suspiciously, and smelled his shirt. "Tu shraaab peeke aaya hai??? Ye kya bakwaas karraha hai. Useless!" Romit earned another smack on his head but he successfully dodged it by ducking.
"No no dadi. Mere kehne ka matlab hai iss baar jo humne plan banaya hai wo full-proof hai. Aur humey aap sab ki jaroorat padegi."
"Humne matlab?" Dadi again stared at him suspiciously.
"Matlab Maine, Shefali aur Sanchit ne."
Dadi stared at him.
"Ok. Shefali aur Sanchit ne."
Dadi continued staring.
"Ok FINE. Sanchit ne!!! Waise plan hum teeno ka hai, lekin ye chota detail Sanchit ne observe kiya. Waise meri Shefu bhi bohat smart hai."
Dadi and Raj rolled their eyes as they gathered nearer to hear 'Romits' plan.
