Scene316 Karan gets emotional

Arjun: No

Karan softens: Why buddy? (thinks of scene when Arjun had pulled him and made him have lunch at 3:30pm)

Arjun: How can I have without you? I am used to having lunch with you.

Karan gets emotional and angry: Arjun, you are one kind of emotional fool.

Karan pulls the pizza box and opens pizza and gives Arjun one piece demanding"Have it right now"

Arjun: And you

Karan: Ok, so this is emotional blackmail from you haan. OK baba I will have but burger and takes burger and has it

Karan eyes sparkle: My favourite burgers with extra cheese. How did you remember I like them? I never mentioned to you ok you observed while I give orders

Arjun thinking: My small brothers likes and dislikes if I do not remember who else will remember

Karan starts eating.

Arjun looking at Karan having the burger with relish and smile on his face.

Karan: Dude eat your pizza. Why are you looking at me like that?

Arjun with tears welling up in eyes: Shall I ask you something?

Karan tensed: OK

Arjun: You look very nice when you are smiling. Always keep smiling

Karan gives a wide smile: You are a gem of a person buddy. They do not make people like you anymore who find happiness in another person's smile.

Arjun: You are much better person than me

Karan: Really?

Arjun: Any doubts? My Karan is one in billion

Scene317 Arjun forces Karan to break his fast

Karan looks at him. His expressive eyes revealing love and respect for Arjun.

Karan: Hey hey buddy, I am not that good as you make me out to be. Sometimes I get moody and angry like today morning. I am very sorry (and gets upset again)

Arjun: Leave it now. Lets have pizza and burger Karan

Karan eyeing the other burger: Can I have the other burger if you permit? I am feeling hungry all of a sudden

Karan has not had food for past 4 days after he got that call from his father in canteen except for being force fed by his father at party a bit of food.

Arjun: You do not have to ask. You can have it. Its for you only.

Karan in hunger eats a bit fast and food gets chocked in his throat and he starts coughing.

Arjun runs up to him and hits him in back to get the burger piece struck out and gives him water.

Arjun: Are you OK now

Karan with tears: Yeah yeah I guess I swallowed a bit fast. Thanks a lot

Arjun wipes his tears: Eat slowly. Here take chocolate milk and have it

Karan delighted and eyes sparkle: Chocolate milkkk

Arjun smiles: You like it no. Here and gives him the chocolate milk

Karan smiles: Thank you very much.

Karan busy sipping on his chocolate milk to notice Arjun.

After sometime he notices Arjun staring at him emotionally and his eyes conveying so many emotions that Karan has not seen in any other person's eyes for a long time towards him(except his father): What happened buddy?

Scene318 Reason for Karan's fear

Arjun lost. He is cursing his fate. His baby brother is in front of him but he cannot hug him, help him in his work. Its 9pm and Karan a kid(Arjun considers him like a kid a son) is working in office without having any food from morning. Hence Arjun has not had lunch himself. Can a father have food when his child goes hungry?

And that too in tension morning he hurt his small finger. Arjun feels bad that he had interrogated Karan in morning leading to Karan getting upset and not having food and also hurting himself.

They are some pains in life that people cannot share with anyone only their close family. Arjun forgot he was Karan's friend only and hence Karan did not want to reveal anything to him about his personal life. Whatever he revealed was in intoxication and Arjun should not have questioned Karan about it.

Arjun himself has never told him about his criminal background his family etc so why should Karan open up about his family and problems? Arjun never thought about that and interrogated him as if Karan was an younger brother. Hence Karan in upset and in fear hurt his hand and not had food in afternoon. Poor boy.

What Arjun does not know Karan never had food or had very less ever since his father's phone had come at lunch break 4 days back. Why?

This is his habit from childhood when he gets upset he tries to remove the pain in his heart by punishing himself by going without food for 3-4 days till his emotions get controlled. If Arjun had not emotionally blackmailed him he would have not had food for a few more days. He would just lie to his family and friends if they asked him why he was not eating "I am not hungry, I already had, My stomach is paining, I had too much in morning etc".

Arjun lost in thoughts when

Scene319 Karan asks forgiveness for his morning behaviour

Arjun shakes his head. Tear drops falls off his eye without his knowledge

Karan assumes it was because Karan behaved with him rudely. He feels guilty very guilty.

Karan gets up from his seat and holds Arjun's both hands choking: I am very sorry very very sorry Arjun. I hurt you with my behavior in morning.

Arjun shakes his head: Hey no Karan. I never felt bad never

Karan sadly: I am feeling terrible for my behavior. Please forgive me buddy

Arjun embraces him: Shhh quiet. You need not say sorry or ask forgiveness. I never felt bad that you got angry with me.

Karan bends his head not wanting to meet Arjun's eyes: Really?????

Arjun: Karan, you do not have to bend your eyes. Look at me. Look at me

Karan looks at him guiltily.

Arjun: Do you see any anger or pain in my eyes that you misbehaved with me?

Karan looks at Arjun. He sees only immense love in Arjun's eyes for his friend.

Karan shakes his head saying No

Arjun embraces him thinking: If a kid acts angry father loves it baby. Because in the kids anger also there is only love. For you I may be a friend but for me you are my baby brother my son. I can never be angry with you ever for anything. Even if you get angry with me or misbehave with me my love for you will never change or waver it will only increase. I know you are hiding some pain in your small heart what I am not sure? And I know you will never share it with me because I am just a friend not your family. Hopefully one day you will consider me to be so close as to disclose your inner thoughts and pains. I will ensure that this barrier between us both dissolves so much that you can disclose anything in your heart without any fear to me like you do to papa. One day if possible I want to have the same place in your life as that of papa.
