Arohi came back home at lunch time today no one was on duty from their house everyone was busy in nights party preparation. No one has any idea what had happened between Arohi and Arjun. They all were under the impression that Arjun doesn't know about Arohi's engagement. On the lunch table Arjun was absent and Arohi's mind was absent. Meal went quite and Arohi headed to her room where Rashi accompanied her as they began to get ready for the party. In the evening the ASHIYANA mansion was all covered with lights and decorations. Arohi was still captured by the morning events which made her mind go crazy. With every minute she was getting closer to her engagement she was hoping that the time would stop running. Arjun has made her life complicated by making her see through her heart that she didn't love Parth. He was the only way at present that could help her get rid of Arjun. As she walked down the stairs she could she her family standing there waiting for her. The sadness in their eyes was clearly visible yet they were trying to show the pasted happiness on their faces. Arohi was sad at this site but again she was a good manipulator too. The hall was full of people but Arjun was nowhere to be seen. Her eyes was searching Arjun, she was scared at what will be Arjun's reaction once she exchange her rings with Parth.
Everyone was waiting for Arjun but he was not present. Nobody knew where he has gone. It was his birthday party too but he was nowhere. Pandit ji told Ashutosh that they can't delay for engagement as the muhurat was running.
Arohi wanted her family including Arjun to be present but as Arjun was nowhere she reluctantly agreed with the ring ceremony proceedings. She secretly wished that this ring exchange will never happen and Arjun should stop it somehow but to her great disappointment he was nowhere. Why was she thinking that; she didn't know and she didn't dare to analyze her thought. As Parth slipped the ring in her finger her heart became heavier with the same heavy heart she put ring in Parth's finger and whole hall was filled with claps and smiling faces.
He saw her when she put the ring to his finger. His heart ache, the pain was excruciating. But he had to bare this. By what Romit explained Parth he was a perfect guy and he couldn't find any flaw but at times perfects are the ones who creates mess. Arjun had to make sure Arohi is in right hands. He hates her agreed but he is the only one who can hurt her and no one else. She was his fight pal and real friend years back. He knew that she always stood second so that he gets the chance of being first until Amrit Ma died. He himself always felt guilty but he never spoke because one person whom he could tell anything and who used to understand him will never understand him now. Because his mistake killed her best buddy's Ma. He shook his head composed himself and wiped a drop of tear that appeared on his right eye's edge. As she walked inside he saw everyone smiling at him but he was staring at one person his enemy who wasn't smiling but her eyes was accusing him for being so late. For letting her get engaged to Parth he didn't understand why she was accusing him. It was her who told him that he loves Parth but yet her eyes were full of misery. That misery what Arjun gave her. He was trying to interpret her eyes when she and Parth walked to him.
"Arjun I was waiting for you but you didn't show up for long that is why we had to do the ceremony without you." Arohi said smiling softly but her eyes were questioning Arjun where the hell you have been?
Arjun saw the ring in her hand. She loved diamonds and now she is heaving them. He smiled and replied.
"Actually I was out with our gang Rohi and I forgot we have a party when Romit reminded me we have to go they left and I went to the market to take you a gift. After all I should give you a return gift and then the traffic caught me." Arjun answered with a smirk.
"Anyway congratulations." And he put his hand forward.
"Thank you" Arohi replied trying to be cheerful and put her hand forward but they both knew she was not rather they both weren't happy. The touch brought back morning memories to both of them and they quickly loosened the grip over each other's hand. They didn't know the reason behind their sadness but one thing they knew they hated each other so much that they wanted to be together hating each other and hurting each other lifetime. But Arohi never wanted to hurt him like this. This was hurting both of them. When Arjun wasn't here she was sure of living a perfect life with Parth but now he is back and all the complications are back again. She cursed herself for delaying her marriage. But as she looked at Arjun he looked tensed. Arjun saw Arohi staring him and he quickly turned to Parth distracting her.
"Congratulations to you too, Parth right?" Arjun said cheerfully.
Arohi almost snorted out loud on sudden change of Arjun's behavior but quickly she pulled herself together and stood more close to Parth. Arjun wanted to pull her to his side but he controlled himself with pasting an extra wide smile.
"Hi I am Arjun Arohi's…. Fight Pal! This hot head is nowhere near introducing us both. Today her head is occupied with her jewelry and dress I guess. She was never fond of girly things but I guess some changes like this" and he indicated towards Arohi's engagement ring "makes a person change themselves."
"But Hitler you were better before" Arjun said rolling his eyes
"May be that is why Parth fell for you right Parth?"
"Absolutely" Parth replied and they both did a hi-fi leaving Arohi open mouth.
"Hell" was the only word she could murmur.
"Parth I guess I have told you everything about Arjun right?" Arohi said raising an eyebrow.
"Yes darling" with this Parth came closer to Arohi and grabbed her by waist.
The moment he grabbed her Arjun clenched is hands ready to jump on Parth but Arohi realized the growing tension and swiftly moved away from Parth. Parth gave her "you are my fiance look" but she ignored it.
Now Arjun was getting restless as he didn't find anything against Parth.
With a heavy heart he celebrated his birthday.
The days passed and Arohi's marriage was getting closer in mean time Arjun joined the hospital but Arohi made sure that they both will not be having duties together till 25th. She wanted to avoid Arjun till she gets married to Parth because she knew once she is married there will not be any problem. Arjun was getting more and more annoyed each day. He was not getting any thread and now he was super scared. He can not let Arohi go away not that he wanted to marry her but she was just 25 and he wanted some more time to fight with her. He tried to put their duties together but all in vain.
It was 23rd two days before the wedding everyone was busy in sangeet. When Arjun came back home he saw Arohi dancing. Arjun couldn't take his eyes off her. But he had too. When he was fully wet in the beauty of Arohi his trance was set off by Shefali's call.
He came out of the house as it was lot of noise in there.
"Hi Shefali."
"Arjun I need to tell you something it's important."
"yes Shefu what's up? You sound so worried."
"Arjun Parth…please Arjun come to my place I can't talk on phone."
"I am coming shefu don't worry."
And Arjun hang the phone. He was worried what is that Shefali was all tensed about?
He told his father that he is going to Shefali as she is in some problem and will be back soon and he quickly drove to her house.
When he entered the house he saw his whole gang sitting there tensed.
"What? What happened to Parth?"
Arjun asked worried.
"Arjun" Shefali begun softly
"I sa-w Parth with some other girl."
The words echoed in the room.
Arjun couldn't believe that the opportunity was coming running to him. He found out that Parth was not fit for her. He was about to express his feeling with a with smile when he realized that once Arohi comes to know she will be torn. He can't let Arohi hurt but he also can't let her do this mistake. His head was spinning all these days he was waiting for one threat and when he got it he do not know what to do.
He told his gang to keep quite as they have to do everything without hurting Arohi.
He came back home the celebration was still on but he didn't know how he is going to stop these wedding. As far as Arjun knew Arohi trusted Parth he has to play safe.
The next day was haldi ceremony and the bachelor's party for Parth but they decided that they will have combine group party. Everyone was enjoying to their fullest. The whole group was drunk except Arjun and Arohi. Arohi was very nervous as she felt that something was going to be wrong. Though Arohi's friends knew about Parth they were waiting for Arjun to give them a signal.
Parth came to Arohi and took her to the dance floor while she was sitting on the couch with Shefali having juice.
"Parth please I don't want to dance."
"Come on baby it is over party at least one dance."
Parth forced Arohi to which Arohi couldn't say no. Arjun was sitting in one corner looking at both of them. He wanted to grab Arohi and fly away somewhere but he was waiting for the right time.
Arjun was called by Romit to the couch and when he looked back at the dance floor to see Arohi she wasn't there. Parth and Arohi was nowhere to be seen. Arjun got very much tensed. Where she must have gone? He looked at his group
But they were in no condition to be helpful. He couldn't sit there and wait for Arohi he walked out of the crowd searching for Arohi. She was nowhere. Something was very wrong he could feel it. He thought of calling Arohi but he knew she wouldn't respond to him. He was thinking what to do when he heard a loud sound from a room at the end of the passage.
He slowly went to the room and was shocked to hear Arohi sobbing loudly.
He had no clue why was she crying. He couldn't see her but could feel her.
"Arohi" he finally called gaining all his strength.
Nobody responded.
"Arohi" he called again.
This time he could hear someone struggling to speak.
Room was locked and he didn't know how to get through it. Helplessly he wondered in the passage trying to find a way when he saw a window to the room. The window was closed but it was of glass. He had to do this. He broke the glass of the window with a hit and the glass crushed to pieces leaving his hand wounded but he didn't dare to look at that. He was only bothered about Arohi inside that room. He jumped through the window inside the room and was stunned to look at the site. Arohi was on the bed with Parth over her. Her dress was torn and her mouth was covered by Parth's hand. She was trying her best to get herself free but no use. Parth was too strong for her.
Looking t this side Arjun was fuming more than ever. He attacked Parth from behind. He didn't care about his wound what mattered to him was how dare he does such cheap thing with Arohi.
"Arjun don't touch me she is my would be wife. Get away." Parth said trying to dodge the attack of Arjun
"Not anymore Parth how dare you do this to her?" Arjun's hand was bleeding heavily.
Arohi was worried about Arjun now. She had to do something She couldn't let Arjun lose his temper and do something wrong.
"Arjun stop. Let's go."
At this words Arjun's mind got distracted
"Arohi! He tried to.."
"Arjun he is my would be husband. Let's go." With this Arohi took Arjun's hand and she moved to the door. She knew that her dress was torn but she didn't care. What mattered to her was Arjun this time.
"See you tomorrow at the wedding Parth" with this Arohi left the room with Arjun. Arjun was shocked how could she marry such a guy.
"Arohi"
"Stop Arjun" she interrupted him. Tears were rolling down her checks but she didn't care.
Her dress was already torn so she tore apart one of her sleeves and put it on Arjun's hand to cover his wound.
Arjun was dumbstruck with her behavior but he kept quite.
He took out his jacket and put it on Arohi.
She put the jacket and moved towards her car.
She saw Arjun going to his car.
"Arjun I'll tell Rashi to drive the car home you are driving with me." Arohi said determinately
He shook his head in yes and moved to sit on the passenger's side.
Tears were all over Arohi's face but she didn't care.
"Arohi please stop the car for a while."
Arjun told Arohi she didn't fuss over she stopped the car.
He slowly put his hand forward and wiped out Arohi's tears.
She couldn't take it anymore all she did was hugged him tightly.
She was sobbing so heard that a tear dropped down from Arjun's eyes. She realized it but did not react. She wanted to cry and the only one who could be her support was Arjun. After a while she pulled away from him and they headed to the house. She called Rashi to get back his car. They both did not discuss anything about the incident. When she pulled into her driveway she straight away walked to her room.
Arjun walked to his room thinking about what happened and how he is going to break this marriage because he knew that Arohi will leave in hell but not let their reputation ruin. While he was in his bedroom thinking he heard a knock on his bedroom door.
"Come" Arjun said not looking to who was it
Arohi came with a first aid kit. She was with the same dress. As soon as she finished the first aid she quietly walked out of the room. "I really can't understand this girl" though Arjun.
The next day everyone was busy with the wedding preparations. They all celebrated Arohi's birthday in the morning. Everyone gave her expensive gifts accept Arjun who just hugged her and smiled at her. All were shocked but Arohi understood what that meant and she smiled too with a soft thank you.
Arohi was ready to crush her life and Arjun didn't know what to do. They haven't told anyone what happened. It was the time of wedding and everyone was eagerly waiting for Parth and his family. But instead of Barat Parth came in alone everyone was shocked to see him like that.
"What happened Parth beta? Is everything alright?" asked Ashutosh
"I am calling off this wedding. I don't want to marry Arohi" Parth said calmly.
Everyone was super shocked at this statement. What has happened that made Parth say this. Arohi was nowhere. Shefali quickly went to Arohi and told her what is happening down.
She walked with her heavy red lehenga perfectly dressed as bride.
She looked at Parth who came to her and said.
"I am not marrying you."
She heard but didn't react. As soon as he said that Arjun felt that Arohi might need him.
Parth saw Arjun at her side and then begin to talk turning to Ashutosh
"Uncle your daughter cheated on me. She agreed to marry me but she is having an affair with your so called son Arjun." his words pierced in everyone heart everyone knew what was their relation.
Arjun tried to speak but RP signaled him not to.
"Beta there is some misunderstanding Arohi and Arjun no beta." Dr. Ashutosh tried to convince Parth.
"Uncle you all must have put cover on your eyes but I have not so I am sorry I thought a lot and I am not ready for these marriage." With these he took out his engagement ring and gave it to Arohi.
Arohi was listening to him quietly. As Parth turned to leave
"Wait Parth you forgot something." Everyone looked at Arohi who was now taking out her ring.
She placed it in Parth's hand.
"This was the best birthday gift." Parth was surprised but he didn't say anything and left the place.
Everyone was standing there like a statue as though the time has stopped.
Dr. Ashutosh's legs gave out and he sat with the hand on his head.
Pandit Ji stood up to leave.
"Wait pandit ji yaha shadi jaroor hogi." For the first time RP spoke. He signaled Kumud and she understood what it is.
She moved to Arjun
"Beta Mom Dad ke liye" she said quietly only for Arjun to hear.
"Ask Arohi mom." Arjun said hesitantly.
Kumud went to RP to tell him what Arjun said. RP quickly walked to Ashutosh who in turn came to Arohi.
"Will you marry Arjun Arohi?" Ashutosh asked Arohi he was sure she would say no but to everyone's surprise she said
"Yes"
Everyone was shocked but pleased with her decision. Arjun didn't speak anything he walked to the Mandap and all gathered around.
Arohi was brought to mundap by Shefali, Rashi and Simmi.
She was quite blank expressions on her face and Arjun was continuously looking at her making sure that she is okay.
Pandit ji started with mantras.
He put sindoor in Arohi's mang she was still blank, followed by mangalsutra. Pandit ji told them to get up for sat pheras. She got up quickly Arjun was looking at her uncertainly.
As soon as they finished sat phera's pandit ji declared them as a married couple.
Everyone clapped.
No one knew how the things had happened but one thing for sure Dr. Ashutosh, Dr. RP, Dr. Kumud, Dr. Rashi all were happy. Arjun didn't know why he took such step but he knew at least he was successful that Arohi's life wasn't going to ruin. But wait we too will never be happy together he thought but there was no time for thinking now. All the guests left leaving the Ahluwalia Singhania family and their friends. As soon as all guest took leave Arohi walked upstairs straight to her room locking herself.
Arjun stare her while walking.
"I HATE HER BUT SHE IS MY WIFE NOW" he thought.
