hi guys here is another update! since i love dedicating my chapters i dedicate this one to appu who happened to be born on the same day as me! enjoy guys nad leave a comment!

Chapter 4

Arohi was slowly waking up. Her senses tried to take in her surroundings. She was in a state between sleep and waking up, a pretty much confused state. Arohi's head was banging and she felt she was going to faint. She drank some water before stepping out from her bed. She looked around and found her last night's dress piled in a corner covered in mud. She didn't remember getting mud on her dress or coming home or changing into her pj's. The last thing she could remember was Arjun dancing like a fool. But she was sure something happened afterwards because her dress was dirty and she had a throbbing head ache. She was thankful that it was weekend and she could sleep as long as possible. Arohi took her phone to check the time and it was already 8:00 AM but she was in no mood to bath so early on a Saturday. Casually Arohi checked her phone and found the pictures of a totally wasted Arjun and her lips curved into an evil smile. She didn't want to step out of her bed but her mom shouting on her top voice made her to proceed to the bathroom to freshen up. By 8:30 Arohi was downstairs in the dining table trying her maximum to get rid of her head ache. Shefali who knew last night's entire incident gave her advil without the parent's knowing. Arohi had gone to her room and slept peacefully to wake up to a disaster. By 12:00 clock Shefali woke a clearly tired and sleepy Arohi up. Shefali needed to tell her before she knew it from somewhere else. As Shefali recounted last night's incidents sleepiness and tiredness went away immediately. For the first time in her life Shefali saw a tensed and embarrassed Arohi. Arohi was mischievous and naughty but she never did anything that could make her or her family embarrassed but last night was something that Arohi encountered for the first time. She didn't know a way outside and she was desperate for one. Slowly, for the first time, her tension and embarrassment turned into anger for the cause of this entire problem. Arjun. She needed to see him and that too immediately. Arohi contacted a common friend and obtained Arjun's number and was all set to call him.

Arjun who always woke late wasn't any different today. To top it was Saturday and there was no way he would wake up before 1:00 PM. So naturally Arjun was angry when his phone rang and the anger increased when it was a number he didn't know. With all his hatred he said, "HELLO!"

"Idiot doesn't even know how to say hello!" muttered Arohi under her breath.

"Hello Arjun it's me Arohi I needed to talk with you!" Arohi said in one breathe.

Arjun was little confused. He recognized Arohi's voice over phone but why did she wanted to talk with him? As far as he could remember they were each other's enemy. Now why did she want to meet him all of a sudden? He needed clear answers.

"Umm why do you want to talk with me? Did you dial the correct number? I am Arjun!" Arjun tried to make sure she was calling him.

Arohi was a little surprised for Arjun talked to her in a normal tone. It was a rare scene and she didn't expect this after last night! And it suddenly hit her that he may not be remembering anything. She quickly told Arjun, "Hey listen I know it's you and it's you I wanted to talk to you! Did you remember anything from last night if not ask your friends after that meet me in the city park with all the photos!" Without waiting for Arjun's answer she cut the call. Arjun was surprised that Arohi spoke to him in a soft tone and he become confused on rewinding her words. Photos, friends, last night………….. Last night? Wait a minute! Hadn't he spiked her drink but how come he couldn't remember anything? He needed to speak to Romit before this confusion kills him.

When Arjun finally spoke to Romit he felt it was good if he hadn't. If he had spiked Arohi's drink she had also done the same thing. Now Arjun wanted to meet her as early as possible. He called all his friends and collected the pictures from them. He had forced them to delete all those pics from their phones but as a safety valve he had saved some in his PC. He didn't trust Arohi and knew she would certainly plan something against him. Then he had to have something against her. As per the call Arjun was in the park and he had seen Arohi sitting in a bench. He walked slowly to her all the while constraining himself from becoming angry. The moment their eyes met a lot of emotions flashed. There was embarrassment, hatred, anger and something small that was unidentifiable may be a little bit of attraction but it wasn't time to explore those feelings. For that there was still time. With a deceptively calm voice Arjun spoke "I have those pics and I will delete them if you delete the ones you have! And I know you have them!" Arohi stared at Arjun momentarily but nodding her head she took her phone out and deleted all those pics in front of him. He did the same. Both of them didn't mention last night as they know they both were responsible for it. They parted without any further ado. Arjun was e surprised and a little shocked that Arohi didn't suspect him of having any other photos. Or had she? At that moment Arjun had an urge to follow Arohi and he followed his inner voice without any hesitation. When he finally caught up with her more like stood at a hearing range he heard something that he couldn't believe. He overheard Arohi speaking to Shefali who was waiting for Arohi outside the park.

"Aru di how could you believe that he didn't have any other photos? Just because he didn't told you don't mean he didn't have! You should have at least kept some copies with yourself!"

"Shefali don't be paranoid! I don't think he would do something like that! Yeaj I know he had done some pretty serious bad things but I don't think he would be such a jerk! He is a jerk but not that much!"

"Di this is your problem! You may be a hot headed person but you are way too innocent! You don't believe people can be bad beyond a limit but they can be! Don't you read newspapers?"

"Shefali calm down! I don't know how to make you understand but believe me this problem will never be a problem again! Just believe me! And I just don't believe but I know people can't be bad beyond a limit! Just because I believe he won't do something like doesn't mean I trust him completely! I will make irritate for him if he continues to irritate me! So just chill! Nothing will happen!"

For the first time Arjun felt bad for doing something. He went straight to home and started deleting the photos but he had saved two photos of the two of them together in the dance floor and in the mud fight. He didn't know why but he knew he had to. Once Arjun closed that chapter he was back to his older self and was planning how to irritate Arohi. He once again had to convince himself that it had nothing to do with the fact that she would irritate him back if he did so and that her all attention would be on him!

Sunday too passed without any interesting activity except Arjun losing himself then and again in Arohi's thoughts. He again tried to convince himself that it was all Friday night's hang over which he hadn't gotten over. Monday morning arrived and he was eager to go to college but had already told himself that it had nothing to do with Arohi. Arohi too woke up believing that everything was fine and she had left the Friday night behind. She also thought that those dreams she had about Arjun while sleeping will go away once she fight with him and she knew it would happen. Arohi arrived in the college and was dressed in a printed white kurti. It was her favourite. She walked in her usual self important and authoritative style but today students didn't have those slightly fearful and respectful admirations in their eyes. Their looks were more like 'I know your secret' kind. Before she could stop one of them and choke out the truth Addy hastily walked to her and whispered something in her ears. With a horror stricken face she ran to the canteen to find pics of her and Arjun dancing in the walls. Not just dancing but also the ones in which they were hugging each other tightly. Arohi felt her eyes welling and in her blurred vision she saw Arjun looking at those pics. He too was shocked to see those pics. He turned to look at Arohi whom he had seen entering the canteen. Her eyes were wet and he felt a sharp pain. As he watched her she came towards him and shouted, "You did this? I can't believe you did this! No I can't believe I didn't expect something like this from you!" before Arjun could reply Addy came forward trying to punch him. Arjun moved out of the way but Addy wasn't going to let him go. They fought there in the canteen and finally Arjun slammed him against the wall and told "I didn't do it!" Addy was trying to struggle out of his position but Arjun was way too much for him. Arohi smirked sarcastically through and told him "You expect me to believe you? I don't think so! If it's not you then who? You and your friends were the only ones who had reason to humiliate me like this! You had already proved that you had no respect for me or any other girl! So tell me why I should believe you!" By now most of the college had assembled in the canteen. Arjun and Arohi fighting was always amusing for the rest apart from their friends. Arjun stared unbelievingly at Arohi even though he knew she was right. She had no reason to believe him but he hadn't done anything this time! If he had he would have said it out! He didn't do anything secretly. He liked to flaunt his pranks. But when she accused him like that he too yelled back "I didn't do it! Believe it if you want to! If had done it I would have been the one who told you! I always claim my deeds good and bad! I didn't do it and I will never stoop that much as to blackmail someone! If you can accuse me I too can accuse you! I can say you did it to embarrass me!" Even though Arjun said like that he knew there was no chance Arohi could have done this not because he overheard her but because it was way too embarrassing and a girl could never done something like this to herself! "Oh so you are now blaming me! I am a girl and I would never defame myself like this!" Arohi retorted back. Arjun looked at her for sometime and said "I didn't do it and I don't know how to make you believe! I will find the person behind this and will prove that I am innocent in this matter! And I swear that the day I find that person he/she will regret it!" With this Arjun went outside and Arohi stared after him. Somehow she knew it wasn't him but she wasn't going to admit it! If it wasn't him then he had to prove it!

Arjun had enough. He was fuming and had told his friends to leave him alone. He didn't understand why he was so angry? Was it because of those photos or because she cried? It was killing him! Ever since he had seen her that evening she was occupying a major portion of his attention. He tried to fight with her to get rid of her from his thoughts but it only increased it! That day he kissed her because the temptation was too much for him. He was never this much attracted to any other girl and that too to a girl who was equally hot headed as him! Actually a little more than him! It wasn't just her totally different attitude towards everything that attracted him. He had seen her before. He had seen her in the park with some kids. It was one of those evenings when his parents had fought and he couldn't be in the house. He had seen her playing with the kids and the way she cared for every one of them. At that moment he felt she would be a great mom in future! He had liked her bond with the kids. He spent that evening watching her playing with the kids and forgetting about his parent's fighting. When he found out that she was the hot headed girl Mishti was talking about he couldn't believe it! He teased her just to see the limit of her anger and then all the fights and slaps and he had forgotten for sometime that he was attracted to her. But once again in the park he found himself getting attracted to her once again and today she had accused him! That was it! He will prove his innocence not to elevate in her eyes but to redeem himself from this attraction! With that he left from there to note the press where those notices were printed. He was a little shocked to find that those were printed in his dad's old press! He was confused and to remove it he went to the press. He found Mishra uncle there who was an old and trusted employee. Arjun asked him whether anyone especially anyone he knows had come there to print anything in the last two days. Mishra uncle thought for some time and said "Mishti!" Arjun wasn't necessarily surprised but he never expected such cheap action from her. He stormed from there to college to confront Mishti. He had to teach her some manners!

i konw this chapter didn't hav the degree of anger you guys expected but it's because i thought a person would be embarrassed rather than angry when sthg like this happens! anyways leave ur precious comments!

i liked how you portraied their emotions and it was amazing to see arjun being atracted to arohi and she too a litle less for now but giving her more time ...
