Chapter 7
Arjun looked at Arohi who was practically asleep in his arms. Abhi walked over to them and he was totally wasted out of his mind. "Arjun, bring Arohi home yeah, i'm coming home late" Arjun nodded and held Arohi tight whilst walking her out of the club. He looked at her pale face, she was cold and shivering in her red dress, it really showed out her figure. Arjun sat Arohi down gently and he took off his jacket and placed it on Arohi. He sat down near her and cupped her face without waking her up. "These are the moment when i really don't want to call you ma'am. But Arohi. Arohi, i don't even know how to tell you how beautiful you really look tonight, everyday i see you your looking sexier and hotter day by day. But why do you really have to be such a bi*ch. Why can't you just behave how you did tonight, everyday. Don't hide such a personality because of your profession... dont" Arohi was still fast asleep whilst Arjun had no idea what he was saying. He looked at her red lips, and moved closer to her. Still having his hands cupped around her face, he once again moved closer...leaving their faces a inch apart.
His eyes were closed so he could get the feeling of her lips being pressed on his, but as he was about the make the move, he hesitated. Arjun snapped open his eyes and quickly pulled away his hands in shock. "What the hell am i doing, whats wrong with me!" Standing up, he looked down to see Arohi's flushed face. Her head was leaned back onto the wall as she sat their drained out of her brains. Arjun sighed in anger, knowing that he couldn't leave her there alone. "Arohi, stand up, i'm going to drop you home." Arjun spoke in one tone, loud and calm, but not looking down at her nor giving his hand to her for support. He got no reply from her so he repeated his words again. "Arohi, i said stand up. I haven't got all day to mope around and wait for you to get up." There was a silent moment, and this made Arjun even angrier. He looked at her who had her eyes closed and was in no position to listen to him. " This girl is making my life crazy!" Arjun bent down and picked Arohi up into his arms and stormed over to his car. Placing Arohi into the passenger seat, Arjun himself went and sat down into the driver seat. He sat there taking deep breaths to calm himself down.
"I can't believe i'm doing this. Pretending to be a boyfriend of such a big superstar in India, and i used to work for her! What a joke! Everyone now thinks different of us, wherever we go we have to be together and have to act like a couple. What a brilliant life i have! God, i didn't ask for much...all i wanted was a job. You know, a job where people go to work, and then get paid for the effort they put in there. But no, what did i get in return? Getting paid for being a fake boyfriend of such a heartless woman! I don't deserve this!" Arjun muttered his life problems as he drove Arohi home. He didn't careless if Arohi was listening to all of this but by looking at her he knew she was totally gone. Arjun pulled up in front of her house and saw room lights were still on. He looked at his time and then back to the house. "Its four in the morning and people are still awake in your house? What a busy family you have!" Arjun got out his car and went and opened Arohi's passenger door. She was still asleep so Arjun had no choice other than picking her up and taking her inside.
"Why is no one bloody opening the freaking door!" Arjun constantly rang the door bell until he heard, "WAIT, I'M COMING!" Just thinking about the voice, the doors were opened wide. The whole family stood around the house as their jaws dropped seeing Arohi in a mans arms. Arjun looked around slowly and cleared his throat. "I've come to drop off -" "How dare you bring my daughter back home this late! You may be her boyfriend but who gave you the right to take my daughter out this late and look at the state of my poor baby!" Arjun rolled his eyes and in his head the words "Oh, now i see where Arohi gets her moody attitude from". Arohi's father came storming over towards Arjun. Arjun ignored him and stepped his foot into the house and walked over towards the sofa and lay Arohi gently down. "Mr Sharma, i respect who you are, but i was not the one to take your daughter out. In fact it was her brother, and i have no intention to take blame for something that's not true." Arjun began walking towards the door until he heard behind him, "What have you done to her!" Arjun narrowed his eyes and turned around, seeing a fuming old grandmother. "Why does Arohi go out with the wrong guys! My poor innocent beti" Arjun gave out a sarcastic laugh and crossed his arms. "Listen, dadi ma, or whoever you are, Arohi got drunk herself, i didn't force alcohol down her throat! And seeing her in the state i brought her home, you all should be thanking me...not blaming me!" "How dare you speak to my mother like that! I will make sure Arohi doesn't see your face again! You can't even look after yourself, i don't see how you can look after Arohi!" Siddarth was becoming furious at Arjun for speaking back to dadi ma. "Well you know what, i'm glad! Do what you guys want to do, cause i could careless right now!" Arjun walked out the house with a sarcastic laugh.
Arjun saw the silence in his home. He walked in and saw the decorations hanging and the cake on the table. The chocolate cake, which read 'Happy Birthday Bhai' was untouched and the decorations were left as they were. "Shit, shit, shit! How could i forget! Khushi and Sheetal must have been waiting for me! Whats happened to me recently! I hate myself for this! Damn" Arjun dropped himself onto the couch as he placed his head in the palm of his hands. He was becoming over heated recently, meant by taking is anger out on anyone, stressing over small issues. He had had enough working with Arohi. He didn't want to pretend to be her boyfriend. Yes it was his idea but he was becoming too tired with the acting. As he thought away of all the mess happening in his life recently, he slowly dozed off onto the couch.
"Bhai...Bhai" Sheetal shook Arjun so hard so he could wake up. "Bhai wake-up!" Arjun slowly opened his eye lids just to see Sheetal right in his face. Arjun sat up straight and opened his eyes wide enough so he could see Sheetal. "Bhai, why did you fall asleep on the couch, go rest in your bedroom...let me help you" Sheetal held her brother hand until she heard him say stop. "Sheetal, i'm sorry. I came back late last night and you and Khushi were asleep. I didn't want to upset you both, i just got a bit carried away with friends" Sheetal smiled and linked her arm with Arjun and rested her head on his shoulder. She sighed and said "Bhai, don't worry over small things like that! We are happy you had fun with your friends, i mean, we thought you would get bored at home so we just hung some cheap decorations to make it look amazing and just baked a cake which took like fifteen minutes. Khushi's fine with it, seriously! Bhai, she's just snoring away haha. And you know, we knew you would be coming back late! I'm glad you had fun bhai" Arjun stroked Sheetal's face and kissed her forehead. "Sis, i want to tell you something, and i know that what i about to tell you is going to upset you. And shock you..." Sheetal let go of Arjun and straightened herself, "What do you mean bhai? Tell me?" "Sheetal, i'm leaving my job. I can't do it anymore. All this acting about being Arohi's boyfriend has really got to me! I was thinking about everything last night, how all this has affected us as a family." Sheetal stood up and crossed her arms. "Bhai, i don't understand you! One minute you want to work, the next you dont, its time you made your mind up!" Arjun rolled his eyes and stood up standing side by side with Sheetal. "I knew you were going to take this the wrong way! I just want you to understand that Arohi is not the person as she seems. We have seen her in TV's, magazines and all around the media. She's a total different character personally. Her attitude stinks, and i can't say anything back or else she will put me behind bars! I'm not risking it to work with a person like that." Sheetal shook her head and left the room, leaving Arjun on his own.
Arjun drove to Arohi's office to hand in the leaving notice. He parked his car and walked in towards the receptionist. "Is Arohi here?" "No sir, ma'am hasn't arrived today" Arjun rolled his eyes and under his breath he mumbled "Must be recovering from a hangover. She got a bit too carried away from yesterday!" "Did you say something sir?" Arjun looked at the receptionist and cleared his throat. "No, you must be hearing things" Turning away from the awkward scene, Arjun walked towards Arohi's office. He opened the door and walked over to the desk. Arjun re-looked at the leaving notice paper in his hand and he took a deep breath. "What i'm doing is right, i no longer want to work here." He placed the notice down on Arohi's desk and looked around the four walls for the last time in the office. "Goodbye terrible memories. I wont miss you" Arjun let out a chuckle and walked away...
I know guys it's been a long time since i updated, and it's a short one. I've just got back recently from India and i'm really tired. But from now on i will be updating once a week.
