Meet the Characters
Arjun Singhania: the notorious playboy, the man who seems to go through girls like a box of Kleenex and captain of the basketball team. Has Arjun finally found the perfect girl?
Arohi Ahluwalia: The girl-next-door type, she hates men who use women, and loves to push herself. She loves to play basketball. Can she stop herself from falling for the type of guy who she hates or is there more to him than meets the eye?
Shefali Sharma: Arohi's friend, Rajveer's sister and Romit's girlfriend.
Rajveer Sharma: Arjun's best friend, Rashi's boyfriend and Shefali's brother.
Romit Singhania: Arjun's brother and Shefali's boyfriend.
Rashi: the sister of Arjun and Romit, Arohi's roommate and bestfriend, and Rajveer's girlfriend.
Excerpt : He put his elbow on the table and put his hand under his chin, thinking quietly for a minute or two, "I don't blame you for being cautious," he said at last, "I've given you the worst impression of me, you would be a fool to proceed lightly." His eyes were cheerless. But then he looked up at me with a very sincere expression, "But Arohi, I've never felt like this about anyone before. I didn't even realize that one could feel like this." He looked incredulous, "What each of my siblings has, what my parents have' I had never encountered that myself. I'd always just been the object of attraction for a lot of people for as long as I can remember. I was always just something they wanted, like a trophy or something. I never felt anything for them, never even had a proper conversation. I've never felt an ounce'" he paused, to look earnestly into my eyes, "of how comfortable I feel when I'm around you with anyone except my family."
