Hi guys😃
Ok,so this is my first proper FF. I developed the idea a long time ago and have been planning it for a while. And now I've finally found time to write the first part😊
So here it is. I will try to update as regularly as possible.
Hope you guys like it and all criticisms are welcome. Please tell me where to improve and if it gets too cheesy/filmy😃
Part 1:
"Welcome back everyone! Now this won't take very long,I know you are all eager to start learning again"
Arjun rolled his eyes at the dean's 'joke' and started playing on his phone. His friends and him were sitting in the last row at the top of the auditorium. It was the first day back at college after their summer holidays.
"Apparently Gauri got offered a modelling contract by an american agency while she was on holiday in New York"
Arjun flicked his eyes away from his phonescreen to look at Jay, who had just whispered this to him and who was currently checking out Gauri. Jay was Arjun's best friend and like all the guys in Arjun's group, was known as the hot college stud and also as the guy who knew everything about everyone.
"I'm not surprised. I'm guessing she turned it down seeing as she's sitting here"
He murmured,going back to playing his game. While Arjun could admit that Gauri was the hottest girl at their college, he could not see the attraction guys had towards this girl who was also known as the biggest bitch at their college.
"Apparently she was ready to sign the contract but her parents said she had to finish her degree first. Though her official line is she has 'bigger and better things to do' and apparently.."
Jay stopped whispering as the auditorium door behind them creaked open. Arjun paused his game but didn't turn back to look at the door like Jay, instead waiting to hear who it was from his friend.
"Woah. It's some girl. She's stunning. Seriously stunning. And hot!"
Arjun smiled in amusement at the obvious awe in Jay's voice.
"Hotter than Gauri?"
Arjun asked,carrying on with his game.
"Way hotter. Gauri's nothing compared to her! Man,I don't think she's even wearing make-up!"
Arjun chuckled.
"Huh,that is something special, a girl that doesn't plaster it on for college."
"Shit, she's coming down and she'll probably sit in the first spare seat..next to you! Arjun,swap seats with me! Quick,before she sees!"
"No! Don't be stupid!"
Arjun snapped. He'd never seen Jay act like this towards a girl. Usually, it was the other way around. All the girls always fell over themselves to be near anyone in his group.
Arjun kept his eyes on his phone but waited for the girl to come. He soon saw someone come sit next to him. He waited for the usual flirty introduction, the " Hi,I'm ... .I'm new and don't know anyone here but you look nice. Could you show me around?", all while batting eyelashes and placing a hand on his arm.
But this intro never came.
Arjun waited 5 minutes and then quickly glanced at the girl from the corner of his eye. Woah. She was stunning. Incredibly stunning. But that wasn't what shocked him. The girl was currently listening intently to the dean's speech and hadn't given any indication that she had even seen Arjun!
Arjun looked towards Jay and saw, to his irritation, Jay's amused, smug smirk. He had clearly been expecting the intro as well and, knowing Arjun, clearly understood his shock and found it highly amusing.
Arjun now turned his head and looked directly at the girl. He watched as the girl finally noticed him and gave him a small acknowledging smile and nod and then went back to listening.
*What the hell!?!*
Arjun thought. He was about to say something but then heard Jay whisper,
"Arjun leave it"
Arjun decided that for now,he would leave it. And so he put his phone away and tried to listen in to the last few minutes of the speech. But he couldn't help letting his eyes wander over the girl. Cream paisley chiffon blouse, blue skinny jeans, brown flat sandals. Cute. Feminine but not showy. So unlike the other girls,like Gauri. And Jay was right, no visible makeup. Flawless creamy skin, bright black eyes and cute pink lips that looked wondrously soft. He watched as she leaned forward slightly, her wavy, black hair falling forward, and opened her bag. She took out her phone and seemed to check the time. That was when Arjun saw it. His heart literally stopped beating and he stopped breathing for a second. His eyes widened as he saw, nestled inside her bag, next to a purse and diary, on top of a pack of gum, a small black gun.
He quickly looked away.
*What the f***!*
He thought as he tried to look like he hadn't seen anything.
*What kind of girl carries a gun!?! And brings it to college?!?*
He glanced back at her. She had put her phone away and gone back to listening.
*she looks so normal and innocent. Maybe...maybe her dad's a policeman and he gave it to her?*
As soon as the dean announced that they could go to class, Arjun got ready to talk to the girl. But he watched bemused as she got up and left, not in a hurry but not looking at anyone.
"So what do you think? Stunning right?"
Jay asked as they watched the girl leave.
"Odd. She's stunning but there is definitely something odd about that girl"
Arjun replied,still thinking about the gun and the general nod she had given him. He decided, for the time being, not to say anything about the gun.
Jay laughed.
"You're just saying that because for once a girl didn't fawn over you as soon as she met you!"
Arjun turned and glared at Jay.
"That is odd! Find out everything about her"
Ok,so hope it wasnt too boring😊 I promise it will get more interesting soon!
