Not that bad
One week passed in a blink of eye. And now standing in the Mumbai airport I feel very nervous. Thinking how would be my first day at work. How would every one turn out? I went to Love deep bua's home I'm going to stay with her. After chatting with bua I got dressed and was ready to go when she stopped me and asked "What is it that you would be doing?"
"Well I'm the art director" I told her.
"Oh that's great" she told me.
And then we left together I went straight to my studio and she for her office. I was standing in front of the studio staring at it. Then someone tapped my shoulder. I looked back and found out a guy standing there with questioning eyes.
"You are?" he asked.
"Hi I'm Arohi" I told him.
"Oh the trainee, art director hi I'm Rajveer. One of the creative's." he told me.
"Okay so what do I have to do I mean where should I start?" I asked him.
"Whoa whoa you seem pretty excited about it." He said.
"Yeah I'm very workaholic" I replied.
"Well first let's go and meet the cast and crew" he told me.
"Okay" with that we headed inside.
I was getting really excited. First I was introduced to the crew members who seemed pretty welcoming. Then the cast came one by one everyone was arriving. Firstly Mikhael Khurana came. I thought he is the male lead but he told me he will play the role of the brother of the main guy. Then I got introduced to Gauri Sehgal the female lead. I thought she would be very brag kind of. Cuz she used to play the villain in my fav serial. But that doesn't mean she will be bad in real life too. She seemed like a really nice person. Some of the other cast were still to arrive but I got to my work. I have to plan the whole ambience. I loved my work first getting the whole picture in my head then checking it on the lappy and then making the whole place from a kitchen to a five star restaurant. Yup, we do all that. I was busy doing all that when I got to the wall it was a mess. I have to change the whole look of the wall. I told someone to get up the ladder and fix the painting in the top. But he did it all wrong I kept telling him. So I just told him to something else and I got up the ladder. I also fixed the painting.
I was about to come down but I suddenly slipped and was going straight for the floor in absolute fear I closed my eyes. But I never reached the floor but rather was held close in someone's arms. When I opened my eyes I saw two brown eyes which had warmth in it but at the same time was very cold. And I felt like losing myself drowning into those two deep pool of brown. I don't know how long I was staring in those eyes. But then with a sudden jolt he put me down and I came out of my fascination.
I looked at the guy to thank him but the second I turned I was shocked. It was none other than Arjun Singhania. I was speechless. He looked at me and said "Are you okay? Anyways it's okay." And started heading somewhere I shouted behind "Thank you". But I was still shocked. He just looked back and nodded and went away.
Oh my god I was just drawn towards Arjun Singhania disgusting. How pathetic of me? I just kept staring at him. I was too embarrassed but I engrossed myself in work and just tried to keep my head off Arjun or his eyes which are so beautiful something which seems so heavenly and soothing those eyes had fire and ice. What the hell again ugh. I was doing my work and the shooting was going on. But I did not want to see it. After sometime I was tempted to go and when I reached there. Most probably the first meet scene was being shot and it was quite romantic. I looked around at my work pretty satisfied I started watching the scene but it felt weird. I mean romancing in front of 200 people is so weird and uneasy. When we these scenes on TV we feel butterflies in our stomach but here it felt quite embarrassing. The way they both are acting I would have to say they know their work and are really good actors. Then the scene ended and I saw Arjun coming in my direction and I don't know why but I could not keep my eyes off him. But what I didn't realize until now that actually I was standing beside the director so he was actually coming towards him. They both just went towards the chairs but not before he looked at me and then just went on his talking with the director. But that one look made my lips curl up in a smile. Wait Arohi are you mad? Don't care if he is charming and handsome or anything else he is so rude and haughty. But he didn't seem rude when he talked to me or when he saved me.
My mind was at tussle when someone pulled my dress. I looked at the direction and it was a small kid. He was very cute most probably he was the child artist who was gonna play the son of Mikhael.
"Hi what is your name?" I asked him.
"Hi I'm Raj and you?" He asked.
"Hi I'm Arohi" I replied.
"Okay so can we be friends" he asked.
"Of course. Let's be friends" I replied.
"Okay buddy what do you do?" He asked again.
We chatted like that some more. And he seemed like a very cute boy but naughty at the same time. Then some more shots were given and Raj can act pretty well. After that it was lunch time and all the stars were sitting together Gauri invited me to have lunch with them. So I joined them too after some time Rajveer and Raj joined us too and Raj came and sat next to me and we again started talking. But then Arjun came and sat on the other side of me. But I totally distracted myself and was immersed in talk with Raj when Arjun suddenly started coughing. Maybe he choked on his food. I looked at him I was worried. I just took bottle and gave it to him. When he took it our hands touched and it was then that a weird feeling crept inside me. After sometime he bettered.
He looked up at me and said "Thank you" really meaning it and just got up. I was thinking maybe he is not that bad. And he is not rude but haughty for sure cuz he talks to no one except for the director. It's not like I was spying him the whole day it just came to my eyes.
After some more hours of shoot we headed for a garden where there would be the scene shot where they meet the second time. And it was apparently Holi celebration. So there were many water tubs. And the whole place was not decorated after some hard work I put that place into a beautiful backyard and holi party. Some of the actors arrived but there was some technical problem so the shoot was delaying.
At that time from somewhere Raj got a pichkari and was running towards me to put color on me. I was wearing a white shirt and black denim which I didn't wanted to get spoiled. I made sudden movement backwards not realizing someone was standing behind me. And we both splashed into a water tub. I opened my eyes to find myself once again in front of those brown pair of eyes.
