I loved it. His facial expressions were incredible. Yes, he is a master of the expressions.
and there's almost always something magical in the way prem "cries". it would be unfair to call it cry. i've seen other (good) actors in other shows cry. and somehow this guy/show pulls it off with more ... delicacy? than those do.
Love the way you put it. There IS something different about the way he cries...no over the top acting...I think thats what seperates his "cry" from the rest.
the thing that always amazes me is when they show either prem's eyes or heer's eyes fill with tears! how do they do that???
We've seen them capture that on multiple occasions now...It is beautiful...I wonder too, how they do it.
and then to see the tear tumble off his eyes -- part of me is just marvelling at the actor's patience and the cameraman's skill. it all looks so beautiful. and effortless. 😍

i know that you skipped the laluchacha part of the story. but in a parallel with this: when prem remembers the evening, he remembers heer telling him how much she loves him. when laluchacha remembers the evening, he remembers how prem tells heer that she is his everything.
and he has tears in his eyes.
is the old mr. juneja jealous? Just being self-centered and stubborn I think. is he hurt that he has created the perfect son, and then lost him to a two-bit girl? Indeed. He's Bitter. a girl who had nothing to do with who lalit juneja's prem was. but who is everything to do with who that prem is today? Is there a diff btwn that Prem and who Prem is today? I always thought today's Prem lived in that Prem...perhaps that Prem was just the Prem that everyone knew...this Prem, is the real one. Wow...I don't think any of that made sense...*shrugs* was he possessive about that son, showing him off as a possession, something that everyone would admire and give him credit of creating? is he really as shallow as that??? 😕 it was a strange segment and i felt troubled watching it.
Yes...he was possessive...still is. Prem was his trophy he could show off - remember when they first came to India - after the Heer crying in the mandir/dupatta flying/Prem chasing scene, Ullu said "aao Prem, mujhe sabko dikhana hai ki akhir mera Ram jaisa beta Prem, kaisa hai". So, very possessive and proud to "own" him I think.
sigh. of course, not. 'cause he's mein-bhagwan-nehi-hoon prem... double sigh.
Did you notice this very quality of his has rubbed off on Heer to the 10th power? 😆 Hate Prem more now? 😆
