😆 yes, it was. i constantly wonder whether it's just because i'm a girl that i focus so much on prem-heer when there's such adorable prem-preet stuff coming in and out of the show?

hmm. come to think of it, i wonder if any of this is even tolerable to a guy... 🤣

and of course, i could completely feel what it was doing to prem. he was probably dying having to hear that cheap-man talk about heer like that -- "she will certainly work extra for it tomorrow" 😡 -- and not being able to break el cheap creep's face up. I was really hoping he would. If only he still had a good job, then he would have the confidence for it all...

when he didn't was the first time that i got the idea that prem wasn't himself today, that he had been quite badly beated up by the world, and that he wanted to be quietly with his heer for a while. poor prem, how was he to know he couldn't have even that moment?

can we puhlease get better editors on this show?? please? this show deserves the best and it's not getting it. That reminds me, one of the creatives of KDMHD died of blood cancer...

oh hell, really??? that's awful. that must have had some kind of a bad impact on the set of the show... ugh. how awful.

ya, i confess - i do still think the story rocks. even with the often-bad presentation and the distracting actors and everything - the core, i like. i wish it could have been told consistently better. I think the story still rocks to. I know I'm not gonna give up on this serial to quickly. I've fallen for it head over heel...

i still sometimes wonder that i have too -- seriously some of what is at the heart of this show - like the small town punjabi setting - is stuff that really set my anger antennae up. but the characters in the story are still so otherworldly that it's still charming to watch and wait to watch what happens next.

🤣 so, we do. so we do! 🤣

* little thing: prem still can't use "heer" in a coherent, simple sentence! "uh.. heer... where's heer?" thought of the soap suds scene

maya! here was prem acting stern with meher and all you can think of is the soap suds scene!!???!!! 🤣🤣🤣 isn't that a new low???

Originally posted by: maya123

that hand scene looked so out of place - guess he did not want meher to come up with any stories and let her know that he had heard it all.

tell me about it! that gesture was a strange thing. i remember a film called asoka (with shahrukh khan) and he used to do that in his role of king-conqueror.

sylvie asked if i didn't think that hc was getting too much into mahabharat and slipping out of this show. i just can't believe that the hc who has been churning out superlative prem is losing control of which character he is playing at the moment. i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

like how preet-kulraj are working together. prem-kulraj-preet what siblings - love them

ya, i always yearn for some when i see these! i've been told (sylvie?) that they are not that much fun. but still...😆

* begging thing: they had just got rid of that song in the background!!!! i agree - they should have had curtains flying and prem and heer's hair flying

seriously! 😆

it did make me understand his outright rejection of her proposal - i wonder if heer got it.

y'know? the most horrible part of the show for me was not when prem said "no". the most horrible part of the rejection was the last thing that he said to heer. his wiping his eyes, his entire face was like that of a child. but when he had composed himself, he told her that everyone was waiting downstairs for them, let's go. it was so final, it really made me frown. upto that point, i got prem. but that last gesture - had some thing distant about it that was .... like heer saying she's was quite happy marrying muckmeet, thank you very much, to prem! even though heer was trying hard to tell prem that nothing he said mattered to her.

so, i do think that heer is probably enough from a conservative punjabi family enough to have "got prem" today. what i'm waiting for is for her to slowly wear down whatever silly prem-walls get built up to keep her out and "get to him"!

y'know what i dream of? a scene (like the last 30 seconds of 4 june -- branded in my head, as you can see!) where heer pins prem to the wall and says:

"why does it always seem, prem, that you see something, you hear something, you accept something, and you think something else totally? why is it that even as you say you don't want to marry me, you stand so close to me that i can hear your heartbeat in my breast? why, prem, why? (dropping to husky low voice) why?"

and this time, there will be no vishaka to break up the scene.... 😍

(i think that i've just put myself in a coma. is that even possible???? 🤣🤣)

singapore for me is my mom's mad, mad family. cousins around my neck, cousins around my feet, grabbing my arms. making up for my never had a preet-harman-kulraj-di. i'm loving it. 😊

couldnt prem have atleast reserved his decision instead of rejecting it?????now he will go back to his crib and we will be sad once more.

i just finished scribbling to some post above that i really didn't have much trouble with understanding prem trying to get away from heer just at that point in time. i thought that i'd understood why he was feeling out of breath, and stifled, and pressured. i thought it was just a thing of that moment. but i remember what really sent a chill down my spine: when he resolutely, child-like, wiped his tears away and said calmly to heer that they must go down 'cause everyone's waiting. he deliberately cut off everything she wanted to say. somehow that caused the only coldness in my stomach. (problem was that i was eating ice-cream at the time, and was confused about which of the two actually caused it... 😆 still. it was not a nice moment, for me.)

maybe you are right -- maybe what they are doing is to have us going round and round, giving turns to first heer and then prem, to prove to the other and to us, that nothing on earth can take them apart. so after heer beating up prem, now we must have prem pushing heer away and discovering that prim-proper-quiet-submissive heer has got a backbone that she is not averse to using!

actually, wouldn't that be kinda fun? it's been annoying (thank you for that word! 😆) to have prem be such a masterful male so far. i want heer to now stand up, act neanderthal, beat him on the head with a big rock and drag him off to her cave. now wouldn't that be fun!?? 🤣

Another thing did you get the feeling that prem was not as good as he was before???I dont know but i just had this feeling that his mind wasnt on acting....

hmm, i kinda liked prem through-out. it reminded me that usually prem is mr. reserved himself. the only time that i thought hc was mixing up roles was when he did that royal gesture of silencing meher by raising his hand. either that, or he was asking for permission to .. er .. take a loo-break, or something. 🤣

that was a very odd kind of gesture, i thought. mostly because i remember his doing a similar gesture to dirtchachi when she'd come to the prison to sign heer's good character papers. that was no where as royal or odd - it was very nice.

oh well, i guess we'll find out if he is distracted by the other show real soon now.

but hmm, i wonder why my prem-crazy cousins are not screaming about arjun in mahabharat...?

Holla Estee,

So you are loving it there huh???I am happy that you are having fun...i m much better now...i guess monday's are real bad for me ...work, and no family till friday.....

Even i found that absolute resolution of going down very firm and final...i guess you are right it would be a nice thing to see how heer will now convince prem....but wouldnt it be better if we only get to see prem heer for awhile???and no other sub plots????i guess again i am asking for unatainable things but what the heck....why not????

I think i found thereason.......because i have always admired the intense, firm prem the sad cry baby prem is not getting to me and maybe thats why his acting is lacking to me????thats the only thing i can come up with.....

BTW i wonder waht that idiot dad is going to do today??????i hate his dialouges...he is so small and when he speaks it feels like he is pretending to be someone he is not...

Estee, didnt I say before that you give the scenes more meaning then the creatives intend to. You made the Premeer scene sound so wonderful. I mean the scene was done marvelously but your description doesnt even make me angry at Prem, whom I am hating right now and would love to sing a chorus of "we hate Prem" with you. If, you havent fallen in love with mr goody goody two shoes again.

Currently I think, my feelings for Prem are🤢. Nothing more to say about him.

As of Veera, what is she, blind? She was dancing or more like practicing fighting with Nihal and didnt realise it was him. You are right, her part is really boring. What's up with Nihal? He is so personality-less. Dancing happily with a girl who insults him so much. He should be put into jail for trying to woo a kid!!! Old man!

I kind of liked the Ash-Prem scene. It was fuuny and I found Ash adorable. I like her. Well, the way the serial is going, tables have indeed turned, when it comes to my likes and dislikes.

Preet's Eid ka Chand was the funniest......he and Ash are meant to be together.

By the way, where was melissa's love-to-hate Harman? I know, Estee you can come up with a funny and nice excuse. See, I am back to Harman again. But where was he when his brother was having a party. Trying to practice party expressions in some washroom mirrors, or what?
