the only reason that the rest of the junejas (and i mean the sensible rest-part) have never spoken against the father is because of prem. it's because of an unspoken promise to prem that none of the sensible j's do or say anything to laluchacha. because they know by speaking against the father, they will hurt prem too. and they don't want to hurt prem anymore than he is already hurt. that's understandable no?
