correct me if im wrong...but

is it not the case that in shows where the characters get married sooner rather then later stay married for the whole show...ie KGGK..

but in shows like this one, where a great length has been given to the main couple then they never get married...KYPH type.

im not sure if i've explained myself well but isnt there just a set formula to those storyline,

i was surprised that Ash ended up ending the wedding and that shes teamed up with Preet, but if this other RR person comes along will it not put a total end to all of preets plans? (preet is trying to being both of them back into the home right or only prem?)
