Ok first of all i loved the Prem and Heer part. Heer's so innocent, and well Prem's naughty, i guess, messing with her feelings... He knows what she's gonna think, so I guess this is his way of making her trust in him. But I loved the way he did that, it was such a nice part. I could just see Heer trembling in his presence and Prem slowly moving his hand to get his keys...

OMG I love Gunjan! She's such a sweet little girl, goes to her mamu to ask for chocolate cuz she knows her mom won't give it too her. Aww Prem's so sweet, he left the house with her before anyone *cough* Kulraaj *cough* could say anything.. 😆 Poor Kulraaj, she doesn't have anyone but Lalit to complain too...

I love Preet! I'll say it again, I LOVE Preet. If he wasn't in the house, then I sweat the house would be a dead/dull mess... He's the one who puts the light back in the house. I love how he persuaded Prem and Prem got persuaded, but I guess somewhere he wanted to meed her too, but he was afraid to get caught.

Do I even have to say anything about the choli tying scene/kiss on her back? ☺️☺️☺️

The last part was so emotional, i could feel the tense situation, and I could relate to Heer's feelings more. I love how she didn't show anyone how sad she was. She's such a sweeeet girl! Hmm.. I don't think Heer has to worry about pleasing Prem, he's already pleased, right?

The only thing I'm worried about is DJ... Dj and her plan, what does she have going on in her mind? And whyyy didn't she tell Ash.. I really want to know... I can't wait for the next part! Continue soon!! 😃😃

Hey Salma.....yep I finally updated 😆.....he was actually my mum's uncle and yes everyone is managing well thank you.

Yeah the show certainly was a mess in these last few weeks but I doubt my FF was a medicine of relief for everyone. You being too kind 😳 dear.

As for DJ's evil plans and weather the wedding will actually take place in 4 days....you'll have too wait and see. I can't help you with that 😭. After-all I have to maintain some suspense right?

Prem's very naughty indeed....I'm glad you liked the part. I didn't think I could pull anything like that off. But it definitely was the best part of the whole update. Now who was in the room and who wasn't is something for you to ponder on 😛. But let me add that I don't drag things on and so it will be revealed very soon.

I thought the Balraaj-Teji scene was necessary in order to make it realistic. I couldn't have them all happy when their in a way loosing their eldest daughter.....giving her away to the man of her dreams 😳. Those emotions were needed which is why I included them and I'm pleased I was able to evoke those emotions within you as well. Its an achievement in itself.

That was inspired by the towel scene at the chawl. It feels great to know that you were actually able to imagine 😲 the on-goings. WOW...I didn't think I was that great 😆....well I still don't.

Although Kulraaj has 3 children in the actual show...I thought one was enough to bring that innocent childish touch to the fanfic and at the same time carefully handle - 3 characters would make it extremely difficult for me 😕 to focus on each. It wasn't Prem.....although she went too him at first.....it was Preet who grabbed her and left in search of chocolate. I thought I'd clear that for you 😉.

Preet's a fun-loving guy and quite light-hearted. He adds the necessary humor to the fanfic. I totally agree with you on the house being a dull mess without him. Prem deep down did want to meet Heer...he just needed an excuse 😆 which Preet's insistence gave him.

Hey everyone 😊!

Here's the next part of this fanfic! I promised it would be up by Friday and I'm glad I was able to fulfill this promise of mine. Now I don't want to keep you all waiting any longer by blabbing on and on. But I would like to say thanks so much for taking the time out to read it 😃 as well as commenting. It really means a lot to me 😳. I'd also appreciate it if everyone including silent readers comment. I'd love to hear what you have to say!

This part is dedicated to Salma as well as Zainu Di and Nandini (where have they disappeared too? 😆....Im guessing their really very busy but I can understand....no worries.)

Two days later, Mann House

There was a dinner at the Juneja house tonight which everyone had gone to attend. Heer was home alone and deeply lost in Prem's thoughts. She hadn't seen him in so long that it felt like eternity. Suddenly she heard a faint noise coming from her balcony. Heer immediately rushed to it in order to see what or who was there.

"Prem! Aap yahaan?" Heer sounded shocked out of her wits as she saw Prem standing before her.

"Haan woh.....aaj darwaaze seh asakta tha lekin ab pipe charne ki aadat si hogayi hai." he fumbled on his words as he explained himself to Heer who didn't quite understand him but still invited Prem in. It was quite an awkward position to be in for the two of them. Prem eventually started a casual conversation with Heer which she participated in equally. They didn't notice when and how both of them found comfort next to each other on the plush two seater sofa in the corner of Heer's room which Prem couldn't recall seeing the last time he had made a similar surprise visit to Heer's room. The couple talked for ages until Prem was forced to leave after receiving innumerable phone calls from his family which he had ignored enough for now. His presence was required equally at the family dinner.

Once he had left, Heer recalled the time spent with Prem. It brought a smile to her face straight away. This lessened her tension of moving to a totally new family as well. Heer was sure with the support of Prem she'd be able to win over everybody not that she hadn't already as the Junejas were already full of nothing but praise for Heer.

Prem rushed home and upon his arrival apologized for his lateness. Everyone questioned him about his whereabouts but he avoided their questions for as long as possible. However, when he couldn't dodge them anymore, he made up the excuse of the work load at the office and the need to complete it. It was pretty reasonable and stopped anyone from questioning him any further. He enjoyed the rest of the evening with everyone having a nice home cooked meal by his mother for a change and not their cook. But at the same time Prem wondered what Heer would be doing all alone. He felt sorry for the girl. She had literally been under house arrest for as long as one could imagine. Prem cursed all the rules and regulations which prevented him from meeting her openly and kept her locked away in that suffocating house.

"So bhai" Preet said as he lay down beside his brother who was busy working on something on his laptop.

"So what Preet?" Prem asked without looking away from the screen once.

"So..." Preet repeated to Prem's annoyance.

"Kya hai Preet? Seedhe seedhe nahi bol sakte kya!" Prem asked frustrated from Preet's unclear tone of voice.

"Aap Heer Bhabhi seh milne gaye the na?" Preet finally questioned humorously.

"Nahi toh!" an astonished Prem replied wondering how his younger brother would have found out.

"Come on PB! You can't lie to me. Aap ka chehra par sakta hoon main. Aur is par saaf....saaf likha hai keh aaj aapko sirf isliye deir hui thi kyunke aap Heer bhabhi seh milne gaye the. Now if you want to hide it from me, well that's a totally different thing." Preet pouted expressing fake sadness to break his elder brother's silence.

"Maine kya chupaana hai.....when you've already figured it out. Now go to your room. Yahaan kya kar rahe ho?" Prem responded very honestly and then patted Preet's back whilst pointing to the door.

"Jaa raha hoon....mujhe yahaan rukne kah koi shauq nahi. Abhi toh shaadi bhi nayi hui aur yeh haal hai. Shaadi keh baad kya hoga....bhagwaan hi jaane! Get out kehna baaqi hai. Woh bhi kehdijiye." Preet enacted emotionally.

"Are Preet....main toh mazaaq kar raha tha. Chal aaj raat idhar hi sojaa. You know I love you more than anything in this world! We share a unique bond Preet which no one's arrival can or will break. Samjhe?" Prem stated sentimentally.

"Aap to sach mein emotional hogaye PB....waise even I love you a lot. Now I'm off....dad will kill me if he finds out I'm here at this time of night."

"Acha jaa. Good night!"

Preet wished Prem a good night as well and made his way to his own room down the corridoor. The two brothers truly did share an unbreakable bond. Preet just had to open his mouth and his wish would be fulfilled before he even knew it. To Lalit, this was spoiling Preet but others could see it was because of the lovely bond between the two.

It was the eve of the wedding and something felt amiss. But Heer didn't know what. She hoped and prayed for her wedding to go smoothly so that her parents could relax for a change. They already had enough to worry about as there was already a lot on their mind. Tomorrow evening at 7pm sharp she'd be wed to Prem and would enter an everlasting relationship. Heer blushed at the thought of her wedding. It was all too good to be true! In addition, everything had happened in such a haste that she hadn't had the chance to even catch her breath as she constantly fulfilled all the pre-marital rituals an Indian bride was required to.

She found it difficult to get even a moment of sleep. Half the night was spent in tossing and turning and even pacing the room when she couldn't tolerate it anymore.

Unlike Heer, Prem slept peacefully throughout the night, dreaming of Heer as he did so. He honestly couldn't wait till tomorrow as Heer would finally be his!

"Mom sab kuch tayaar hai kya?" Ashlesha questionned unable to wait any longer.

"Bilkul......tumhari yeh Maa kabhi bhi kachi goliyaan nahi khelti. Ab dekh kaise main Heer ko Juneja khandaan ki bahu baane seh rokti hoon aur tumhe Prem ki dulhan banaati hoon." Daljeet spoke proudly.

"Lekin kaise mom? Kya aap mujhe Preet ki dulhan nayi banaa sakti? Prem mere type ka nahi hai." she moaned like a child.

"CHUP! Khabardaar agar tune aisa waisa kuch kiya. Don't even think about Preet! Ab jao....bahut raat hogayi hai. Kal bahut kaam bhi toh hai." she stated adding the last sentence whilst cackling away like a witch indeed.

From Daljeet's prespective, it looked as if everything was going according to plan. Now weather it really was is another question altogether.

Finally the much awaited wedding day had arrived. It was a warm evening in mid-June. It had been decided long ago that when Prem and Heer were to be wed it would be done in the grandest manner and so they had rented a hall in order to accommodate all their guests. The hall had been decorated keeping in mind both Prem and Heer's taste. After-all it was THEIR wedding. Family and friends had arrived from all over India as well as abroad to witness the union of Prem and Heer. This marriage was just an excuse too bind the two into a never ending relationship. However the truth was their souls had already done so partially if not completely.

An anxious Heer now sat all dressed in her bridal attire silently in a spacious room upstairs along with Meher. The Baraat was yet to arrive. Balraaj, Teji and occasionally Balwant were busy being hospitable to their guests as well as making sure all the preparations for the wedding ceremony had been made. Daljeet however was no where to be seen surprisingly. Now what she was up-to was another mystery altogether. Ash had been forced into helping out by her elder sister, Vishaka. So she was now standing in the exasperating heat outside....welcoming the guests with a fake smile plastered over that very fake face of her's.

"Di....main na abhi aati hoon. Aap yahin rukiye." Meher stated as she made a quick escape.

"Are Meher kahaan jaa rahi ho? Ruko toh!" Heer shouted out after her sister but it was all in vain as she had already left.

A while later she heard loud music being played and trumpets being blown. Heer guessed the baraat had arrived and that they were being welcomed. She so badly wanted to witness the scene but couldn't. She wanted to see her bride-groom! Her Prem and that too now. She felt a surge of sudden anxiety.....that something was going to go terribly wrong. But what?
