Hey Deshians and Meetians, Nikhad here. 😃 I hope you guys remember me. If not everyone then at least some of you haha. I am back here with my Meetness. 🥳 I am here with a new fresh start. This is going to be my Meet's OS thread full of new stories. Here, some stories will be from some other platforms where I wrote about some other people and some will be totally fresh. I hope you all will enjoy this thread. Thank you and love you all. ❤️

MEET OS - "Missing You"

Preet smiled as he felt the wind falling onto his face from the car window. He took his phone in his hand and started writing on his notepad app. 'I know she misses me, I mean who wouldn't I am the great Preet Juneja. Joking, of course. Actually I miss her a lot too but I know I can't miss her like she does cause I can't simply love her like she loves me. Here sitting on the back seat of the car and seeing the passing roads, only one thing is calling my mind. She. Only she. Her eyes are so beautiful and I know she must have been crying since last night for me. I wanted to be the sparkle of her eyes last night but I could not. Rather I became the sadness of those. Work responsibilities can sometime make me go so mad I tell you. Especially when it is my girl's birthday. I wonder what she is doing now. Probably trying to hide her down side from her brother and secretly seeing my photos on her Ipod. I love her, I love her with my all.' , wrote Preet in one go before looking outside the window again and closed his eyes letting the wind fall on his face.
She was there, laying on her bed seeing his photos on her Ipod and trying hard to stop the tears. She missed him. She missed him more than anything. Not that because it was her birthday why she was missing him, she missed him everyday. It had been so long since the last time their hands entwined with each other. Their foreheads touched and he smiled. The reality of not having him beside her sank in her as a void feeling took over her heart. 'What he must be doing at that moment? Probably thinking of her of course', she thought in her mind and took a deep breathe. 'Meher', called out a familiar voice. Hearing the voice of her brother she could say that he was coming to her room. She wiped away the tears and sat up on the bed. As her brother reached the doorstep of her room she gave him a smile. 'Hey Prem bhaiya!', said Meher trying to hide the sadness in her voice.

Prem: Were you crying?
Meher: Oh no! What makes you think that? *Tries to laugh a little*
Prem: A lot of things. Like your soaked up eyes, your blank face and your just given fake laugh.
Meher: *Letting out a sigh* Well, you know me too well to hide I guess.
Prem: *Sitting beside Meher on her bed* I am your elder brother Meher, You can't hide your feelings from me. We have been the closest human being to each other since our childhood.
Meher: You know why I was crying right?
Prem: I do. Look, Preet has been really busy. If he could, he would have showed up on your day. You know how much he loves you right?
Meher: Of course I do. I know all these and I am not even disappointed or mad. It is just that I can't help missing him.
Saying that, Meher put her head onto Prem's chest. Prem hugged her from side.
Prem: I understand lil sunshine . But now as my baby sister has gotten a year older today, I thought to make her some breakfast. Maybe we don't have Preet here, but do you think she will be happy seeing her brother's little effort?
Meher: *Smiles* Of course she will. You are the best brother bhaiya.
Seeing his little sister smile, Prem smiled back cheerfully at her.

Both the brother and sister came downstairs to the dining room. It was a big spread on the breakfast table and all were Meher's favourites. Meher's face lit up seeing the cute effort of her brother and she was about to speak when the door bell rang. 'I am getting that, meanwhile can you bring two glasses from the kitchen? I forgot the glasses, I see', asked Prem. 'Sure bhaiya', replied Meher smiling.

After some seconds or a minute when Meher came out of the kitchen, she had two glasses in her hands and she was looking down at them. 'Bhaiya who was it? These glasses seems to be new, did...', Meher looked up in her mid sentence. On that very moment, she felt like the world stopped and she froze standing right there. There he was, standing with his raven black eyes and sharp subtle nose. Yes, it was him. Did he look even more handsome than before? Meher could not blink. As he took steady little steps towards her, happy tears rolled down her cheeks.
Finally he came to her, took the glasses off her hand, placed them on the table and then simply hugged her. A bone crushing I must say. As she tightened her grip onto him with time, he placed a kiss on her head.

They did not realize for how long they were hugging but the sound of a camera brought back them to reality. They broke the hug and looked at the only person present in the room other than them.
Prem: Sorry guys, I had to take a photo on my phone. This was an iconic moment.
Meher: Did you know?
Prem: Ah you got me! Yeah I did. It was a surprise plan for you by us two.
Preet: PB is the best would be brother-in-law, I must say.
As soon as Preet finished his words, all three of them laughed out together.
Prem: By the way guys, have a wonderful time now. I gotta rush.
Preet: Rush?! To where?!
Meher: Are you trying to give us some alone time and leave without having the amazing breakfast spread together that you made for me?
Preet: Guessed it. You are not leaving anywhere. Without you nothing would have even possible.
Prem: But...
Meher: No buts bhaiya. *Holding Prem's hand' I am blessed to have you and Preet in my life and I want both of you to be with me now.
Preet: I need you too my PB, I missed our bromance after all. *Hugs Prem*

Seeing that, Meher laughed a little and joined the hug too. 'So it is family time', said Prem hugging them both back.

And what a nice reentry you made...with a lovely Meet treat for all of us.

I was a really nice OS Nikhad. I have always loved the dahi scene between Prem and Meher...and here you made them siblings...nice touch.

Loved the fact that Preet came back as a surprise for Meher. And even nicer that Meet asked Prem to stay...so that Preet and Prem could carry on their...bromance...🤣

Thanks so much Nikhad...really enjoyed it.

Surprised to c u - welcome back.

I read this yesterday and wasn't all that keen to keep going until I found a part mentioned a brother - 😆 me d honest idiot 😆 then I read on to see what is happening.

The family was small and sweet. Very comforting to each other. Prem and Meher convo was great. I liked.
Preset gave a surprise appearance is lovely. The trio looked nice ready to have family meal.

Heyyy Athi! I am so glad you completed reading it. I know you love family things. Yeah I am finally back here <3 And hehe Fatima always inspires me, this time we did not have a talk but I was catching up with Ishq Bulava after the forum got closed and when it re opened I could not wait myself than to come here.

Hahaha aww di, you are such a sunshine <3 This is actually not FF, this is my OS thread haha. The story ends here. No worries, new little ones will be here posted in future. Love you so much for sticking with my writings and giving me lovely feedbacks. Muwaah!
