Nikhad is here with the 2nd part. This part is a bit small though.
CHAPTER 2
Meher was folding Meet's clothes after lunch the next day, suddenly the little young man came from behind and started pulling Meher's hand.
Meet: Babby, babby. (Baby baby) *pulling Meher's hand*
Meher: *Turning to him* Olle my baby, what happened? Why sad?
Meet: I wat tu go tu lew babby. (I want to go to new baby)
Just then Preet came out of the washroom.
Preet: Son, your father has worked really hard, so you should at least wait for 9 months.
Meher glared at Preet hearing what he said. Meet made a very confused face at his father. Preet realized what blunder he just did. He gulped looking at his pissed off wife and confused little son. He gave an awkward smile to Meher, which actually meant sorry.
Meher: Meet my toddu, listen to mamma. *Making him sit on the bed, she sat beside him* New baby will take time to come. God is sending the baby, na? Baby is now on the way, travelling from the stars to us. After nine months, new baby will reach our home, okay love? *Pulled his chubby cheeks as Meet was a bit chubby*
Meet did not seem to be very convinced. He looked at his parents as if he knew that they were telling lies to him.
Preet: Yeah champ, your mamma is right. *Assuring Meet*
Meet: *Tapping on Meher's belly* No, lew babby, lew babby. Babby is hele. (No, new baby, new baby. Baby is here)
Meher and Preet were totally shocked hearing what their beloved son just said and gave each other a confused look.
Meher: Baby who told you this?
Meet: Pappa. (Papa)
Meher looked at Preet with a killing look and Preet was shocked again.
Meher: See? Preet you should grow up. When will you learn? We don't live in this house alone anymore and we are the parents of a child.
Preet: But...
Before Preet could complete, Meet spoke out.
Meet: I taw papa tawlkin to mamma's belly and taying lew babby. (I saw papa talking to mamma's belly and saying new baby)
Preet: Your son just always have to peek out at the wrong places. *Frustrated face*
Meher: Umm toddu, you know God will send new baby to my belly after the baby completes the roads of the stars. We will go to the hospital and mamma will take out the new baby just for you, okay love?
Meet nodded his head very excitedly while giving a big smile. He then started kissing Meher's belly and kept on saying lew babby, lew babby. (New baby, new baby)
Preet: Pheewww!
Meher also gave a relieved smile.
After a while Meher got a call on her phone. It was Mrs. Teji Maan, Meher's mother. She wanted to had a video chat so Meher opened her laptop, then connected the video call along with Preet and Meet.
Teji: Olee my Meet, you have grown up so much.
Meet almost jumped on the laptop screen seeing his grandmother on it and started pushing the screen as if he could enter inside it. Mr. Balraaj Maan, Meher's father came and also joined the video chat.
Balraaj: Oho, seems like the little champ is all in the mood to break the laptop screen and come to us, huh?
Meet got more happier seeing his grandfather there also and even started hitting the laptop screen with his hands.
Meher: Toddu, you can't go there like this baby. Come back to mamma. *Taking Meet on her lap*
Preet: Greetings, maa and papaji. How are you?
Teji: We are all fine here in America, son. I am just tensed and worried about you and Meher. We are here when Meher needs me the most. *Upset face*
Meher: Maa, please don't say this. Bhaiya-bhabi need you more than us. Bhabi is also pregnant and they are all alone there.
Preet: Yeah moreover, Nikita is just 5 too.
Meher: Exactly, they need you more than me maa and why are you even worried about us? The Bakali House family is always here to take care of us.
Balraaj: Yes, this is the same thing which I was explaining to your maa. How is everyone there? Such gem of persons all the kids are.
Preet: All of them are just doing absolutely fine papaji.
Meet: Nannaji-nanu chokket? (Nanaji-nanu chocolate?)
Teji: Yes yes baby, Nanu is packing a lot of chocolate for her prince charming.
Balraaj: Nanaji is packing even more.
Meet became too much happy and again starting hitting the screen of the laptop with his little cute hands.
Suddenly the bell rang.
Meher: Someone is at the door. I will be back.
Teji: Wait wait Meher, I and your papaji also need to rush. Actually Rishab and Geet have gone to the hospital for Geet's regular check up and Nikita is playing in the yard with a friend of hers.
Meher: Okay maa, then bye for now. Give my regards to bhaiya-bhabi and lots of love to Nikita.
Preet: From my side also.
Meet: *Copying his parents* Mile tu *Pouty face* (Mine too)
Balraaj and Teji laughed on their grandson's act, waved bye to them and then cut the call.
Meher: Shit, the door. Let me go and check.
Preet: *Holding Meher's hand* Stop right there, you will do only rest for next 9 months. I am going, you wait.
Meher: Not again this time Preet. *Oh no-face*
Preet: Yes yes this time and everytime also.
Preet went to open the door. Moments later, Maya walked in Meher and Preet's bedroom.
Meher: Wow, Maya! What a pleasant surprise, buddy.
Maya: Umm, sorry. I guess I came at the wrong time. I thought Preet must be at his practice sessions so you must be alone. Just wanted to check on you but spoiled the family time.
Preet: Wow, I mean anything huh Maya?! You did not spoil anything. I took a day off this morning to be at home and don't worry I am at home today for the whole 24 hours. So you just chill.
Meher: I feel like slapping you tight Maya.
Maya: Okay okay, sorry sorry. Uff you guys.
Preet: So you two sit here and chat. I go and spend some time with my monkey. What say Mr. Monkey?
Meet looked at his father giving a disgusted look.
Preet: Haha, alele. Let us go champ, time for wrestling yo! *Pretending to give Meet a punch*
Meet started giving punches on Preet's legs.
Preet: Meet?!! Wait, let me show you the papa power now.
Meet laughed and ran out of the room. Preet chased him from behind.
Maya and Meher laughed seeing them.
Maya: You and Veera also love watching wrestling na?
Meher: Hahaha yes. Veera has so many similarities with me.
Maya: True true.
Meher: Hey! I just remembered something about Veera. Well, I wanted to discuss this with you and Heer but did not get chance.
Maya: What is it Meher? Anything serious?! *Worried*
Meher: Yeah, serious but... *Naughty smile*
Meher then told Maya about the smiling thing of last night. Maya said, she also had noticed for last few days that, Veera always kept texting with someone on facebook and sometimes she used to get lost in her thoughts. Both the ladies understood that there was something cooking surely. Meher and Maya started thinking how they could find out what it exactly was.
Maya: Umm, who can help us with this Meher? Think think.
Meher: Varun? Ah well, no. Veera would never tell him before you, me and Heer. Moreover, if Varun would have known something, by now it would have become an open secret.
Maya: Haha, yeah true. So who can give us any news or at least any hint?
After a while, surprisingly both of them looked at each other at the same time and gave a winning smile. They gave each other a high five and screamed together ''SNEHAAA''...
