Priya I don't understand...I thought according to the rules you had to mention Jugni and Premeer in the song to qualify...so technically speaking only # 3, and 20 do...😕

Ty Fatima for pointing out the problem.

When I wrote the entires I also thought the same and had a tough time trying to include Jugni in the lyrics. 😆

When I voted in 1st and 2nd round I also looked for ones with Jugni.

Then after seeing final I thought may be I read incorrectly and including Jugni is optional.

Anyhow I'm glad I'm nt the only one confused. :P

u r right fatty .. i too wrote my entries with jugni and in previous round voted for the ones with jugni ... but it seems priya took it up for optional ... so in the last five i let it be !!! ... lets see what she decides .. !! anyway whoever wins. we had a hell of a singing contest hehehe ...

Hai friends,

First of all i'm sorry for the inconvenience. But as one of the member pointed out, when we announced the contest it was mentioned in rule that both premeer and jugni should be there in the entry. This rule was made based on a wild guessing on making entries. As you all know, this is the first lyrics writing and singing contest in IF( as far as my knowledge is concerned) . so Rules weren't readly available. I made them based on guessing and advices from mods.

Ans in contest we received some entries which doesnt contain jugni's name. May be to maintain rhythm and meaning for the song or they missed it accidentally. while scrutinizing the entries before the voting round 1, the only thing i check was whether it contain any offensive language or bashing and have rejected 4 entries based on it. But unfortunately i totally forgot about the character rule. else i would have changed the rules announcing publically or would hv rejected as per general opinions.

And now, we have got some of those entries in final voting round and we are noticing this now only..i wish someone who noticed it before pointed it out in round 1 so that things won't be tough as now. But its entirely my fault and i would like to apologize to all of you for my mistake.

The final voting round is on its final stage and most of you have done with voting too.. But same the rules are supposed to follow. So i'm leaving things in your hand. If you are ok with the voting we conducted till now, including entries with out jugni's name, then we can go ahead with the current things and have result tomorrow. But if any of you have any objection, we can once again conduct the voting excluding those entries. The decision is yours.

And for that, i'm extending the voting time to tomorrow 6 pm IST. You can change ur vote, if you want too...

Kindly express your opinion on whether we should go ahead and announce the result or should conduct a re-voting by tmrw (1st jan) eve 6 pm.. and will take the decision on what you all want...

Once again i'm really sorry for inconvenience ...

priya if i have to give a selfish answer then i would say plz conduct the voting once again coz many of us followed the rules and some didn't so basically they are disqualified !! but as so much HARD WORK has been done by you and others also tried so its better that we let the things be and u just announce the result because going through the procedure all over again will be hard for u isn't it ? i donno m in double mind ... coz if revoting is done i guess few of us (INCLUDING ME) has some more chance of winning .. but as this is DESH FORUM i literally don't get into "Sam dam dand ved" so i will be okay with anything ... lets have few more members in here and decide what should we do ... u have already spent so much time and work into this .. i don't want it to drag for u and u to get scared of conducting any more competitions hehehe ... !!! FATTY mata ki aankhen der se khuli hayee rabba ... !!!! fattty u come here and decide !!

so basically lets stick to whatever is done and not create chaos and problems for priya anymore ... she is a very good host for competitions and its really all of ours fault that we missed some basic rule .. lets just forget it .. as long as premeer is there we can all enjoy ...

( guess what i am saying this .. coz if revoting is done i can bet i have like 90% chances of winning :P hahahah and nobody is more selfish than i am .. but this KIs desh forum guys .. we listen to people and their hearts .. so lets not down anybody just coz of a silly mistake and take it happily .. forget that claus was ever there .and congratulate the winner and let her/him sing in the rajasthan track !!! )

Priya, i dont think that u should conduct a revoting. It is not a big issue. No one noticed it for one month. Now on last minute why should we redo everything?
I'm also sented entries confining to rule. But i think the other entries are pretty beautiful and deserves to win. What if it didnt have jugini's name? It is for jugini.
