Prem and Ash stood before a hall. The doors closed in front of a big door. Prem is confused when Ash took him to the party hall. 'Ash you said.' He stopped when the door opened and he saw a group of people waiting for them with a happy smile. When he stepped in balloon above his head burst showering rose petals. Prem for a second confused. Ash handed him a punch of red roses 'Happy birhthday Prem.' Others shouted cheerfully 'Happy birthday Prem.'

Prem forgot his birthday. Last time he celebrated his birthday was with Heer, two years back. Last year he didn't remember this day. He looked at Ash who must be the reason behind this celebration.

Balwant came ahead 'Happy birthday Prem.' Prem 'Thanks Uncle.' He took blessing from him. Balwant and Ahs let him to center where he saw a big cake welcoming him. Prem stood silently. Ash lit the candle and gave a knife in his hand. Prem blew the candle and about to cut the cake. He closed his eyes to think wish. He got only Heer's face in front of him. He opened his eyes to push her face away. He felt lonely. He missed her very badly. He wanted her beside him now. Understanidng his confusion Ash whispered 'Prem' into his ears without noticed by anyone. He cut the cake. He gave the first piece to Ash. She gave him a small piece in his mouth.

Gathered people clapped and sang 'Happy birth day.' Prem felt hard to control his tears. Ash opened a small box. She took a bracelet and asked his hand. Prem extended his hand right hand. Ash saw another bracelet in his hand. Ash sadly 'oh you already has one. I totally forgot that.' She is confused how to put this in his hand. Prem removed that bracelet and put inside his pocket. Ash happily put hers in his hand.

Others started greeting Prem. Ash moved to mingle with the crowd. Prem silently moved to a corner and sat in the bar. Waiter placed a glass of wine in front of him. Prem 'orange.' Waiter replaced the orange juice glass. Prem put his hand inside his pocket and touched the bracelet.

Heer pushed the door open and entered Prem's cabin. Prem turned to look at the person. She jumped onto him putting her hands around his neck. she kissed his cheek 'Happy birthday Prem.' Prem 'thanks.' Heer 'just thanks.' Prem 'I'm not a kid to give chocolate .' he smiled. Heer 'give something depending on your age.' Prem 'I don't have anything.' Heer hit her forehead on his 'you are such a dump.' Prem moved back 'really you are very strong.' Heer 'in what?' Prem teased 'hitting and punching.' He rubbed his forehead. Heer 'Prem, I'm hugging you. why can't you just give me a friendly hug?' Prem put his hands around her waist 'happy?' Heer wanted more but shook her head indicating her happiness.

Heer 'Prem, I got something for you.' Prem seriously 'don't give me another punch.' He fearfully stepped back. Heer opened her hand bag and pulled out a small red color velvet box. She opened it. She took a golden bracelet out of it. Prem looked at him surprisingly. Heer 'show me your hand.' Prem 'Heer, I don't.' Heer interrupted 'its symbol of our friendship.' She took his hand and put around his wrist. 'the day you remove this from your hand tells me that you hate our friendship.'

Prem took the bracelet out of his pocket and stared at it. He never removed it from his wrist even after Heer insulted him. He never had the strength to remove it. But he doesn't know how he got the strength to do so today. He whispered 'I broke our friendship forever.' Tears threatened to come out of his eyes. He took a deep breath to control his tears. He looked around to divert his mind.

Balwant 'Prem' Prem quickly put the bracelet back into his pocket and stood up 'ha uncle.' He saw a person standing next to Balwant. Prem clinched his fist in anger. His face showed calmness. Balwant 'Prem, he is my friend. Balraj. He is a very big Industrialist in India.' Prem smiled 'I know uncle.' Balwant 'Balraj, he is my would be SIL. Very intelligent business man.' Balraj smiled without showing anything and shook hand with Prem. Balwant asked them to continue their conversation and moved away. Balraj silently looked at Prem. Prem 'so you are here to disturb my peace again. You daughter damaged my life.' Balraj interrupted 'Prem I' he stopped thinking something. He looked down. Balraj mobile rang. Balraj tensed. Prem holding Ash's hand and with a victory smile on his face turned towards Balraj. Prem saw Balraj walking out in a hurry. His hands are dialing in his mobile. Prem felt an unknown tension in his heart. He thought 'why Balraj Uncle is running like this? Is Heer alright?' he pushed that thought 'why I'm thinking about Heer now.' he concentrated on the guests.

Balraj entered a room and found Preet and Meher trying hard to control Heer. She is hitting the bed and throwing everything around. Meher 'Uncle, she was normal. But suddenly she started behaving like this.' Balraj 'I called the doctor.' Just then doctor entered the room. He gave some injection to Heer. Heer slowly drifted into sleep murmuring something. Balraj holding his head sat on the bed beside Heer. he cired closing his face. Doctor touched his shoulder 'Don't worry Mr. Balraj. She will be okay in the morning.' Balraj shook his head. Preet and Meher sat in the couch with a sad face.

Meher 'Uncle, did you met Prem?' Balraj shook his head 'he is a very big man now. He forgot Heer.' Preet 'can I talk.' Balraj interrupted 'no use. He is in love with Ash.' Preet 'may be he.' Balraj 'he don't even bothered to ask about Heer.' Preet and Meher looked down in disappointment.

After Barlaj left the party in hurry, Prem tried to move calmly with guests. But he couldn't. Somehow for Balwant and Ash he stayed in the party with a fake smile. After everyone left the hall, Prem 'Ash I have call to attend.' Ash 'okay Prem you carry on.' She kissed him 'Good night Prem.' Prem 'Good night.' He walked out of the hall. He drove the car but his mind is restless.

He went to his room. he removed his watch and the bracelet before going to washroom. he kept everything on the dresser and went to take shower. after a warm shower he felt till fresh. He sat picking up his lap top. He searched for his mobile. Remembering that he kept it in his coat pocket he went to take it. when he pulled the mobile out of the coat pocket bracelet which he removed from his hand came out with it.

Prem stared at the bracelet. Taking it in his palm he slowly walked to the bed. he sat leaning on the back. he looked at the bracelet. He cried. He kissed it several times 'I'm sorry Heer.' keeping it on his chest he drifted into sleep.

Prem is standing in the balcony watching the restaurant downstairs. His restaurant is one of the famous Indian restaurant in NY for many Indians. He saw a girl sitting in a table and looking around. He saw only his back but he clearly recognized her. Prem lips whispered 'Heer' smile appeared on his face. he ran downstairs to grab her in his hand. his heart raced before him to hug her and kiss her. he stopped few steps behind the table when he saw her shouting to a waiter. He couldn't understand any of her words. Others are watching her. before he could understand the situation, Heer took a glass of water and poured on waiter's head and threw the glass down on the floor. Glass broke into pieces. Near by visitors moved away to escape from glass pieces. Heer without looking back is about to pour jug of water on waiters head, Balraj stopped her. He apologized to the waiter and took Heer from there. before going Heer took a tissue box and threw it on the waiter's face.

Prem with anger went to his room 'she will never change.' He sat in his chair. 'even after 2 years she didn't change. If she had atleast 1% love on me she would have tried to change her character.' He angrily took a file. Ash entered his cabin 'Boss seems to be in bad mood.' Prem managed 'no.' Ash 'I know you are tensed about that incident. I heard it.' Prem 'leave that we have to face this kind of stupid customers daily.'

Ash too decided to push that away 'Prem, I'm going to London tonight.' Prem got up 'why suddenly?' Ash 'not sudden. You forgot.' Prem 'ha I'm sorry.' Ash shook her head 'you are not in this world after your birthday party. Don't you like that surprise party?' Prem 'not like that Ash. I'm little tensed about the new tender.' Ash pat his cheek 'you will this also.' She kissed his cheek 'advance wishes for your new project. Be ready with a party when I return.' Prem 'sure.' He smiled. Ash 'you look smart when you smile. keep smiling like this. Bye. I'm already late.' Prem 'bye. Take care.' Ash 'you are the only fianc in this world who never kisses his partner even getting several kisses from me.' She went out of his cabin with a smile.

Prem is back to his chair. He heard a voice 'I'm giving you several kisses don't you feel like giving one to me.' this is not Ash's voice. Its Heer's.

Prem is looking at a file standing with his hands resting on the table. Heer hugged him from back. 'Good morning.' Her hands are on his stomach. Prem stood straight 'good morning.' Heer kissed his cheek. Prem smiled 'madam seems to be happy today.' Heer 'I'm always happy when you are with me.'. Prem released her hand and turned towards her. he leaned back on the table crossing his hands across his chest 'is it? I'm keeping you happy like circus joker.' Heer released his hand and made him wrap around her. She leaned on his chest keeping her palm on his bosom. 'not joker. Good and caring friend.' still keeping her head on his chest she looked at his face 'Prem.' Prem 'looked at her 'umm.' Heer 'I'm giving you several kisses don't you feel like giving one to me.' Prem is stunned by her question, he managed 'why should i?' Heer 'just one friendly kiss.' Prem thought for a while and shook his head. Heer pleaded 'please Prem. only one.' Prem smiled. He bent down and kissed her forehead. Heer smiled 'thanks.'

He heard someone knocking the door. Prem wiping his tears 'yes. come in.' a staff came in hurry 'sir, one customer slapped a little boy. Other customers are angry. There is a big commotion downstairs in the restaurant.' He got up and rushed out of the room with that staff.

He went to the balcony and looked down. He saw a group of people throwing tissues and other things on someone. He couldn't see the person sitting on the floor.

Prem to control them rushed down. He pushed the crowd and saw a girl sitting on the floor hiding her face with her upperarm. She is murmuring something hugging a teddy. She slowly removed her hands from her face and Prem clearly saw her face. Prem first shocked 'Heer.' he stepped forward to protect her but stepped back hearing one lady'my son just touched that teddy. For that she slapped my son. Other 'this girl don't even has manners. She poured water on me.' Prem thought 'you deserve this Heer.'

Heer is fearfully on the floor murmuring 'don't worry Chahat. Papa will come to save us.' Others are laughing and making fun of her. Heer threw some of the things that are in her reach on the crowd. In the middle of the crowd Prem standing with his hands inside his pocket enjoying the scene. He thought 'don't think wind always sweaps in your direction. Today its their chance now.' He let out a teasing laugh.

Preet and Meher pushing the crowd aside reached Heer who is now fearfully try to hide herself from the crowd. Meher ran to Heer and hugged her. Preet pushed random persons aside 'are you all gone mad?' he pushed them hard. The crowd dispersed. Prem with a teasing smile 'she is paying for her deeds.' Preet turned to the direction of that comment. He is shocked when he saw Prem saying those words. He moved to Prem 'Prem, you are standing here and didn't try to save your Heer.' Prem laughed 'my Heer. I didn't know her. who is she?'

Preet got angry seeing his smiling face. 'Prem' Prem 'I know this is her another trick and you people always supported to her stupid idea. But it looked different and nice.' Preet 'Prem, how can you' Prem interrupted 'sorry Mr. Preet, I don't have time to listen to your fake stories. I enjoyed the scene.' Hard slap landed on Prem's face. Prem is shocked. Preet held his collar 'you stupid.' Prem tried to remove Preet's hand from his collar 'Mr. Preet, you are.' Preet gave another slap 'what you will do? What will you do?' he angrily roared.

He silently walked towards Heer who is sitting in the bed fearfully hugging her teddy. Meher is rubbing her back to bring her to normal. Balraj 'what happened, meher?'

Prem felt something different atmosphere and turned towards Heer. Preet using this opportunity 'do you think she is acting? She is in this state for past two years.' Prem is confused thinking 'why she is behaving like a kid?' Preet 'she lost her mental balance. She don't even remember her own father and her beloved brother.' With tears 'only thing she remembers is your teddy and the name Chahat.' Prem is shocked. A tear drop escaped out of his eyes.

Meher ran out of the auditorium to stop Heer but Heer left in her car. Meher dialed her number but its switched off. She ran inside 'Preet' from her face Preet understood that Heer didn't listen to her. Meher 'she went home. She even switched off her mobile.' Preet looked at Prem. Prem angrily got up 'I'm not stupid to beg behind her. she insulted me in front of whole college. Soon I'll face her with the same status.' Preet and Meher watched the determination in his eyes.

When Preet offered him to drop him in his home, Prem adamantly refused 'I don't want any one of yours help.' He went to take his cycle.

Meher went to Heer house. Security informed that they were gone to Mumbai. When Preet and Meher went to meet Prem next day, he was not there. Owner said he vacated the room y'day night itself. Both searched for Prem knowing that he doesn't have anyone. Preet tired to call Balraj and Nihal. No one attended the call. From the office they got the news that Balraj went abroad with Heer and Nihal. Even though Preet and Meher is confused about this news, they gave up their efforts after few days as their wedding day neared.

Few days later, Heer shouted angrily 'where is my papa?' Rishab slapped her 'shut up.' Nihal shouted angrily 'Rishaab.' Rishab pulled Heer by her hair and pushed her down on the floor. She fell on the floor with a loud noise. Nihal roared in anger 'leave her. why are you torturing her like this?' two other men held him tightly. Rishab 'oh, your blood boils if I do something to your sister.' Nihal 'what do you want?' Rishab leaned on to his face 'your sister.' Nihal spit on his face 'never.' Rishab wiped his face 'then your chachu will be counting the bars inside the jail '1 2 3' he laughed. He started slapping Nihal.

Heer shouted 'leave my bhaiya.' She ran and hugged Nihal. She shouted 'Rishab, you told me to insult Prem and I did.' She cried 'I crushed his love. Now tell me where is my papa?' Heer with a hope looked at him. Rishab 'be my bed warmer.' Nihal pushed all the men aside and jumped on to Rishab and started slapping him. 'you ba***d. how dare?' he kicked him hardly. Rishab shouted at his men to hold him. But Nihal is in anger hitting all the men.

Nihal shouted 'Heer, run out of the house.' Heer 'bhaiya.' Nihal shouted 'don't care about me. run.' Heer confusingly stood for a second then turned to run. But one men stopped Heer. Nihal fought with the men. But he fell down unconscious when a man hit him hard on his head with an iron rod. Heer shouted 'bhaiyaaaa.' Rishab 'threw him in a railway track. No one should be able to identify him. Take out all his identity we may need it later.' Two men dragged Nihal out of the house.

Heer shouted 'you cheat. How dare you hurt my bhaiya. If Prem comes to know about this then he will kill you.' Rishab laughed 'no way dear. he is angry on you for insulting.'

He gulped a glass of drink 'I thoroughly searched for him. He is no where in this country. Either he must have died because of your insult or went out of the country forever.' He held her chin. Heer cried in pain. Rishab 'do you think he will come to help you after you insulted him like this.' He moved his face closer to his 'no man will forgive this.' Rishab made everyone believe in the office that Balraj is out of the nation with Heer and Nihal. He handled everything carefully and no one got doubt. He kept Balraj in his custody and waiting for a time to send him to jail.

Two men pushed her into her room and locked. She cried. She doesn't know how to contact Prem now. He is the only one can help her now. She looked out of the window and found men standing everywhere like servants. Heer restlessly walked inside her room. She wanted to stop those men before they does something to her brother. She needs to find her father. She decided to call Meher. But Rishab disconnected all the phone connections in the house. She cried 'Prem, forgive me. I didn't mean to hurt you. I love you. please I need you. Prem where are you?' After an hour she remembered her mobile.

After insulting Prem, she switched off the mobile and kept it inside her closet. Rishab threatened her If she try to contact Prem then he will kill her father.

Heer wiping her tears got up. She searched for the mobile. She got angry when she couldn't find it. After a struggled she found it hiding in a corner. He quickly dialed Meher's number.

Meher just got married to Preet going towards their bedroom for their first night is stopped by her mother 'See, At last your friend Heer got the time to call you.' Meher with fear and happiness took the mobile from her mother. Heer cried 'Meher, save me.' Meher is shocked. As Heer quickly told everything to Meher 'keep the mobile in silent. I'll call you in few minutes.' She ran to Preet. Others teased 'see she is in hurry.'

Meher pushed the door open and saw Preet ready to greet her. Looking at Meher's status he got tensed. Meher quickly told everything to Preet without wasting a second. Preet hit his hand 'that security lied.' Meher 'yes. Heer is in house arrest. He killed Nihal bhaiya. Don't know about Barlaj uncle.' Preet 'we need to bring Heer out first.' when they rushed out of the room to downstairs they saw everyone staring at the TV. They are watching Balraj arrested for illegal business. Preet and Meher are shocked. Meher made Heer sit in the couch while servants were arranging the things in Heer's room after renovation. One box fell down. Things from that box scattered around Heer. Prem 'did Chahat ate anything?' Heer shook her head 'no' Prem 'I'll bring food for you and Chahat.' Heer shook her head whispered 'come fast.' Prem ordered food over phone. After few seconds, a man came in with food. Prem send him out and took the plate and moved to Heer. He sat next to Heer and gave her first piece of paratha from his hand. Heer 'I like this.' Like a kid 'how do you know this is my favorite?' Prem 'I know. I'm your Prem.' Heer ran her fingers through his hair 'ha. You are my Prem.' Prem smiled.

Heer ate from his hand 'I'm sleepy' she rubbed her eyes. Prem made her lie down properly on the bed. She hugged her teddy. Prem leaned on the board and gently stroked her hair. She closed her eyes slowly and drifted in to sleep. Prem is about to get up but he found something stopping him. He noticed Heer's hand tightly holding the edge of his shirt. Prem smiled and sat next to her admiring her sleeping face.

Prem was sitting next to Heer day and night. Balraj, Preet and Meher are surprise to see Heer like a kid talking non-stop to Prem. she didn't recognize her Prem even then she is talking to him as if she is known for several years. Doctors were happy about Heer's improvement and told Balraj that her stay with Prem will help her get to normal soon. Prem decided to take Heer to his home. Balraj hesitated but Prem made him agree.
