"Oh my god Premmm!!! You have crossed all the limits of craziness now. I went out of station for just two days and what do I get to see when I come back. I never stopped you from doing anything but that doesn't mean you do whatever you want. Your father is right, I've spoiled you'" Gayatri was trying to control her tears.
She went to attend a marriage of her close relatives and what does she get to see after she comes back' her only son lying on bed wrapped in bandages.
"Calm down Gayatri, he'll be ok. Doctor said he'll recover in two weeks." Lalit walked in, trying to soothe his wife.
"You're asking me to calm down. See what he has done to himself' How can you??" She roared.
"I know but what can we do now?" He answered her.
"Maaa please carry on your fight outside and let me sleep" Prem said sinking into the blanket.
Gayatri controlled her anger and walked out followed by her husband.

"Aunty' aunty" A girl walked in when Gayatri was making juice for her son.
"I was waiting for you Gauri. Now will you tell me what exactly happened?" Gayatri questioned.
"Juice'. Good let me give it to Prem" She took the juice from Gayatri's hand and went to Prem's room. Gayatri followed her.
"Gauri Diii' Finally you got time to see me." Prem said pouting.
"Take it Prem sir' specially made for you by your mom" Gauri handed over the glass, sitting on the bed.
"Sir??" Prem frowned.
"Now will you both tell me what exactly happened?" Gayatri said narrowing her eyes.
"Aunty' there's no mistake of Prem Sir. Its' all the mistake of the other guy. Prem sir was on his way to home when that guy cut his path' How can sir be afraid of rogue like that? He thought him a good lesson." Gauri explained animatedly.
"Gauri now you too don't back him up. He's going to college to study not to involve in fights. Prem I'm warning you if it repeats again, I'll throw you out of the house" She warned and walked away.
"Dii' what's happening?? Prem sir'prem sir??" Prem shrieked.
"What do I do? I've been hearing it forever now from your fan" She winked.
"Fan??" He raised an eyebrow.
"Com'mon' don't you know' Heer who else?" She answered.
"Heeerr??" He tried to recall.
"Don't tell me you got into ghazini mode after the accident." She said in disbelief.
"Heer' Oh wait' The girl you told me about. She joined as a fresher in my college recently. You asked me to take care that she's not troubled with ragging. She stays in the same colony as you" He said recalling things.
"Thank god you remember. Yea the same Heer, who stays in my neighbourhood. Now tell me whats' happening" Gauri nudged him.
"Dii stop it. There's nothing between. In fact I've not seen her till date" Prem answered.
"Ok I believe you for now. Lets' see" She winked and left.

Prem went to college after two whole weeks. His gang sat on their bikes near the parking lot with a bunch of juniors. Everyone welcomed him and he joined them. They were having fun when he recalled something.
"Hey is there any Heer in your batch?" Prem asked trying to sound casual.
"Yes sir. Why?" A junior asked him inquisitively.
The bell rang and all of them dispersed. The classes went on and the day passed.
It was evening and they reached the parking lot. Karan, his friend was all worried. They need to submit a record tomorrow but he didn't even start. Prem had no worries since he already handed them over to some of the girls, who can never say no to him.
"Prem do something' Sir will throw me out of the lab. Pleasee" Karan requested.
Prem saw a bunch of juniors going. He called out to them and asked them to call Heer. In ten minutes, he saw a girl walking towards them with her head bowed down. She stopped in front of them and asked,
"Sir, what do I have to do?" Her eyes still focused the ground.
"Can you lift your head first?" Prem said arrogantly. As she slowly raised her eyes, he was blown away for a second. She did look familiar to him but something at that moment dazed him. He thought he would have seen her in the parties at Gauri's place. He came out of his thoughts.
"Take these records. Fill the incomplete one copying from the other. Give it back to us tomorrow at 9 here." He ordered. He saw her going through the record and a bewildered expression came upon her face.
"Do I have to write all these?" She pouted catching hold of the bunch of the papers she need to copy.
"Yes, of course with the figures too" He said with a tone of authority.
She seemed like she would cry any moment. He melted almost immediately.
"Ok now don't cry. Pass it on to other juniors and tell them we instructed." He said before leaving with Karan.
"Yaayy" He turned to see her smiling in joy. She controlled herself as he turned back and bowed her head down. He put on a serious look and she was terrified.
"Add me in facebook" He said casually and left. She stood there shocked to see his sudden transitions from anger to friendliness to anger and then back to'.
He smiled and left.

Next day, he saw her waiting for them at the parking lot. He immediately parked his bike and went to her.
"Sir, here's the record. Everything is written and all the diagrams are drawn too" She said meekly.
"You did it?" Something seemed fishy to him.
"I' I.." She uttered.
"I what?" He asked.
"I actually got it written from hostlers." She said closing her eyes.
"You asked them to and they wrote?" He questioned.
"Well sir, I gave it to them and said it was an order from you. That was more than enough." She said trying to sound polite but Prem started to understand that all this politeness was just in front of him.
"Ok." He said.
He found her still standing there.
"What now?" He asked.
"Sir, I sent you facebook request. Just wanted to assure if that was you" She babbled.
"Oh I was busy yesterday. I'll check it today." He answered and walked away.
She let out a sigh of relief.

Prem was passing by the girls' breakout when he heard some voices.
"Hey come here" He saw Heer calling a girl arrogantly.
"What?" The girl asked Heer as if she doesn't care.
"Finish these records by tomorrow" Heer said handing over to her.
"In your dreams" The girl replied.
"Oh really then I'll go tell Prem the same thing." Heer said crossing her arms.
"Prem?? You mean Prem sir?? Please no' sorry sorry'Sir asked me to write' I'll finish them by tonight. " The girl pleaded.
"It's okay carry on' I'll tell Prem you can't. Heer was about to walk away.
"Sorry' Please" The girl begged and pleaded Heer and then both of them broke into fits of laughter.
"Poor girl' She was so scared" The girl told to Heer.
"I know' but see tit for tat. She was teasing me yesterday now she'd have learnt her lesson" Heer said happily.
"Between what did you tell Prem sir?" The other girl asked.
"I just told him I gave it to some other girl" Heer replied and she turned to see Prem stand at the door.
Her eyes stopped to blink and she stood like a statue. The other girl ran away. Before Prem could say anything, she too ran away passing him.

Later in the evening, Prem opened his laptop and signed in facebook. He found the request and accepted it immediately. She was online.
"What were you doing in the breakout?" He ping her.
"Sir' I was just'." She typed.
"I was just what?" He typed back.
Heer told him how that girl made fun of her in the class and so she took revenge. Prem found it amusing. They chatted about random things.
It was hardly that they talked in college but in the evening they chatted daily.

One evening, they were chatting as usual when Prem gave her his number and asked her to call at 10 in the night. She immediately refused saying it wasn't possible and signed off. He left miserable. He didn't why but he just felt the need to talk to her. At the same time, his friends called him for a party. To divert his attention, he went but still his mind couldn't get over the fact.
He came back home and lied on the bed. He couldn't sleep. All of a sudden his mobile started to ring and he saw an unknown number flashing. He answered it.
"Hello" He heard a sweet voice.
"Hello" He said.
"Prem sir?" She asked.
"Yes." He said floating with energy as he realized it was her.
They talked and talked. Important, unimportant all kinds of stuff and it was 2:00 a.m when they realized it got late.
Year passed by. Their talks shifted from Facebook to calls.
"Hi Heer. What are you doing?" Prem asked as she answered the call.
"Maa and papa just went to the hospital for some check-up. So, I'm trying to cook something for me and my sister." She answered.
They kept talking when all of a sudden he said "Heer come out"
"What?" She questioned.
"I'm in your colony but I don't exactly know which house it is, so just come out" He told her.
Heer shrieked in horror. "What??? You're here??"
"Heer now are you coming out or not" Prem questioned.
She covered herself and went out. She found his car and sat in.
"Prem sir'" Before she could speak anything, he dashed off the car.
"Please let me go. Maa will come back' please" She pleaded.
She got a call.
"Heer di where are you? The lights went off" Her sister, Meher called her.
"Meher don't worry. I'll be back in 10 minutes" She told and cut the call.
As he stopped the car and switched on the lights, he saw her sweating while the A.C is turned on.
She was about to cry. He couldn't see her like that.
"What? Why are you acting like I'm going to eat you?" Prem roared.
"I didn't see you since the past two days because of holidays. How do you think I can be sane? I just can't stay without seeing you at least once in a day." He said calming down a little.
She stared at him dazed for a second. He stopped the car in front of her house.
"I thought you'll be happy to see me as I would be but' I'm sorry I should have controlled myself. I know how much I missed to see your smile since the past two days. Just leave now" Prem smashed his fist against the steering.
She looked at him in despair and got down.

Prem returned home and directly went to his room. Gayatri called him for dinner. He didn't budge. He lay on his bed staring at the ceiling. His mobile rang and without looking at the number picked it up.
"I'm so sorry" He heard her say. He said nothing.
"I'm such a fool. You came all the way to meet me and I acted so dumb." She continued.
He made a small sound as if agreeing to what she was saying.
"Prem sir, I wanted to see you as much as you wanted to or even more' I just couldn't handle the situation that's it. I was scared." She admitted.
His temper slowly disappeared.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have scared you like that" He admitted too.
"Noo I'm the one who made mess" She blamed herself and went on scolding herself.
"Heer stop it now' I can't hear you scold the girl I love so muchhh" He said angrily.
"No' I deserve it." She said and then realized what he said.
"Prem sir what did you say?" She asked.
"I said you can't scold the girl I love" He repeated slowly emphasizing on the last words.
"but I'm scolding myself' wait that means' you' I' you love me??" She shrieked causing Prem to pull the mobile off his ear.
"I' I just can't believe it" She yelled again.
"Heer why are you shrieking I'm not dumb yet and please I don't want to become one too" He scolded her.
"I just can't believe' I mean' you love me" She said this time a little composed.
"Yes I do and'" She didn't let him continue
"I wanted to hear it ever since I started to love you" She said.
"What did you say? I couldn't hear you properly. There was some disturbance" He asked her.
"You heard it right Prem sir' I love you. I've been ever since I've seen you at Gauri di's place. You are not what you seem to show. You seem fierce but you've a heart of gold" She said.
"Cut that out. I never heard so much praise" He stopped her.
"See that's how you are" She smiled to herself.
"I just can't believe it. We need to celebrate. Wait I'll come to pick you" He said.
"Nooo we'll go tomorrow. Its' already 10:00 p.m" She said.
"Heeerrr' what will we do now?" He fell on the bed.
"Talk to each other" She replied.

Next day she saw his car waiting at a short distance from the college gate. She knew what to do. She immediately raced to the car and got into it.
"Finally" He said and caught her hand.
"Yes finally" She smiled as she kissed on her fingers.
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"Wherever it is we're going to spend the day together. That's it" She answered.
He smiled and started on the path of love'.
