Chapter 3

Heer stood up and so did prem and she started walking towards the stairs and prem followed her they went to the garden and heer sorted her chunri out and she stopped walking and prem stood beside heer turned to prem and she said "do you know I have a daughter?" prem looked at the sky and he said "yes your dad told me" heer looked away and then prem said "are you happy with this marriage?" heer looked at him shocked and she turned her gaze away from him and she was about to say no but before she could answer prem's phone rang and he excused himself and went to attend the call meanwhile heer stood there looking at him walking away and she thought if only she told him that she didn't want to get married maybe then she wouldn't have too. When prem came back just then daljeet

Bhua came and she took both of them inside and they sat with everyone and after having dinner juneja's went and prem and heer did not get chance to talk.

Next few days went really quick with the wedding preparations; heer didn't want a grand wedding and invite the whole world so for her request balraj invited only few close relatives. Balraj appointed all the best designers to get heer's dresses made and her wedding dress he got made was different and unique like his daughter.

In the early morning daljeet came knocking heer's bedroom door after banging the door couple of times finally heer came to open the door and she was yawning and daljeet looked at her and said "hai hai my beautiful niece sleeping beauty has got up thank god!" she giggled and entered heer's room and heer said "bhua why are you here? Its only 4'o clock in the morning!!!" daljeet said "I know beta but you have to start getting ready now because its your wedding today and you are the bride and a bride has to look most beautiful, so I am here to get you ready and all the beauticians are here too!!" heer sat on her bed lazily and she said "okay fine" then daljeet gave her towel and sent her to bathroom to take shower meanwhile daljeet took her all make up and jewellery out and put it on the dressing table and then she took the grand wedding dress out and put it on the bed. Heer came out of the bathroom wrapped in a baby pink towel and her wet hair loosely resting on her left shoulder, daljeet made heer sit front on the dressing table and she went out and called the beauticians and they firstly they put hair mousse in her hair and then dried heer's hair. Then daljeet asked heer to wear her wedding dress with the help she wore her bridal dress and then the beauticians did heer's make up and her hair after couple of hours heer was fully dressed and she was looking like a princess no one would recognise that it was the old heer she looked very beautiful and out of the world. Balraj came and he hugged heer and he said "you look beautiful heer" heer hugged him back and then daljeet excused herself and she went to get chahat ready. Heer pulled out from the hug and she said "dad I'm going to tell chahat about the wedding" balraj said "heer there is no need to tell chahat anything yet and don't worry I will tell her everything and you know chahat will be so happy to find out that she will have a daddy" heer said "fine okay I better go and pack chahat's clothes" she was about to leave balraj stopped her and he said "heer chahat will go with you tomorrow because I don't her to go with you today" heer turned around and she said "why dad? Remember I only agreed to get married if the person accepts my chahat and chahat will live with me" balraj said "I know everything is the way you want it too!!! I'm only keeping her for tonight because after you go I will be alone so just for tonight you can take her with you tomorrow please heer" heer agreed and balraj went out of the room and heer sat on her bed.

The barrat came and prem looked awesome as usual, he was wearing a bronze and gold sherwani and he was wearing a gold colour pagri with a bronze stone brooch, all the junejas came and balraj and daljeet greeted them and then prem sat in the mandap and balraj sent daljeet to get heer. Daljeet went to heer's bedroom and she saw chahat was sitting with heer and heer was feeding her breakfast and chahat was complaining she said "mama you know aunty woke me up really early!!!" heer smiled and she said "sorry baby but she wanted to get you ready and make you look like beautiful princess" chahat smiled and daljeet came in and she said "heer lets go down" heer nodded and she finished feeding chahat and wiped her face and she held chahat's hand and they went out of the room and through the hallway they reached the stairs and daljeet steeped back with chahat and heer started walking down the stairs and everyone was staring at heer she was looking extremely beautiful she was wearing a golden brown fish cut lehenga it was heavy embroidered and stone work on it and the top was bit short and it was showing her belly button she didn't wear too much jewellery she wore her matching diamond necklace and earrings and bangles and she was holding her lehenga and coming down and behind her was chahat she had gold and orange lehenga and her hair in lose curls and she was looking no less than angel. Soon heer came down and on the last step balraj held her hand and he took her to the mandap and made her sit beside prem and he put heer's and in prem's and the pandit started reading the mantars and they did their pheras around the fire after all the rituals were down they were declared as husband and wife and they took blessings from everyone. It was time to leave now junejas said bye to everyone and prem sat in the car and heer said bye to everyone and she was crying and she hugged chahat and kissed her cheek and she said "I love you baby I will see you tomorrow" chahat happily said bye and she kissed heer's cheek and she said "I love you too mama!!!" and then daljeet and balraj made heer sit in the car and they went to juneja house.

They reached juneja house and prem got out of the car and driver opened the door for heer and she slowly came out of the car and prem and heer walked to the main door of the house and gayatri did the aarti and then kulraj and veera took heer inside the house and the took her to her new bedroom (prem and heer's). Heer looked around the room it was painted white colour and the room was beautiful and big it had everything same as heer's old bedroom but different colours and style. The room was decorated with red roses and candles all around the room and heer was feeling scared and she was uncomfortable in the room she walked to the other side of the room and she opened a French door and went to the balcony and stood there looking at the moon and feeling the cool breeze on her face.
