Mann residence(1:00 a.m).....

The phone rings....

Meher, who was going towards her room, stopped mid-way to receive the call....

"Hello", she said.....

"M-Meher main City hospital se bol raha hun Preet ka accident ho gaya hai!!", said Prem....

Without bothering to even replace the reveiver Meher rushed out of the door........

In the car:

Meher tried hard to blink away her tears that were blurring her vision....'She couldn't breakdown, not right now...she had to make it to the hospital...', she said to herself....

At the hospital:

Panting she made her way to the reception......

"Preet Juneja", she saidd hastily....

"Room no. 203", the receptionist told her....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Meher kaun hai??", the doctor said lookind towards Prem.......

"Ji main hoon Meher", she said walking towards them.....

"Kya baat hai doctor.....Kaisa hai voh??", she said holding back her tears....

"Ji abhi voh kaafi critical hai!!!.......Kuchh kaha nahi ja sakta......Par voh baar baar aapka naam le rahe hai, kya aap unki wife hain??"

"N-nahi", interuppted Prem, while Meher turned pale hearing the Doctor's words..

"Oh I'm so sorry...Dekhiye aap log bhagwan par bharosa rakhiye....Everything will be okay....We're trying our best".......

Meher was no longer listening to what the doctor was saying.....Her mind had gone numb..She slowly went towards the room, where Preet was.....She looked at him through the window....He lay lifeless surrounded by dozens of wires and equipments.......Seeing him in such a state she couldn't hold herself anymore........She ran towards the Ganeshji's idol that lay at the entrance of the corridor.....

"Kyun????......Kyun???", she said between her sobs.....

"Kyun kar rahe ho aap ye sab???........Kya chahte ho aap???......Main-Maine apna pyar ko toh kisi tarah chhupaliya par usse apni aankhon ke saamne marta hua main kaise dekhun???......Main aapko usse khud se chheene nahi dungi......Aap mere Preet ko mujhse durr nahi le ja sakte....nahi le jaa sakte...", she fell on the floor crying uncontrollanly............(Shit i can't ibelieve wrote this...how melodromatic!!!)

Prem stopped dead in his tracks after hearing Meher's words........He had followed her thinking that she might need his support.....But he had never expected something like this.........

"Meher loves Preet", he repeated to himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming.....He knew how Preet felt about her and the emotional turmoil he was going through.....He couldn't help but smile after what he heard....

He went forward and pulled Meher into a bear hug......

"Oh-Oh My God Meher, main kitna khush hun!!!", he exclaimed.........

Meher, who wasn't even able to breathe properly, thought that Prem had gone crazy....I mean here she was crying her heart out for Preet and on the other hand Prem was happy!!!

P.S: Okay guys im done wid my part n u do urs!!!!....If u know wat i mean!!!😉😉

one doubt, how can Mehr give up talking to him if she relly loved him ? 😕😆 .. I'm so happy she was already in luv with him ..
Loved Mehr's confession bout her love in the mandir nd prem heard it, yayyyy !! 🥳 ..
And the last line cracked me up !! Prem saying tht he was really happy nd was smiling 🤣 .. I mean evn if she confessed her love, no one would dare to smile whn the person is in a critical nd serious condition 😆

Preet 😭 u r soooo evil Rhea!!! aik to itni mushkilon se update kerti ho aur upar se becharay Preet ko aisi halat main kerdia 😭

cant write a lot (exam tomorrow.i know i shud b studying😆) everything was so sad nd emotional but Prem made me laugh at the end😆

p.s. i know what u mean😉 expect next OS on the weekend nd mayyyybbbeeeee jeene ke isharay update (no promises!) i hav 2 exams this week 😭
