Chapter 97

And so it was finally agreed that Fari would see a consultant in Harley Street. Poor Fari had already seen that she had over reacted and was slightly embarrassed. But Heer had been firm, she and Prem would only go away on their honeymoon if Fari went to see Dr Nazuk Halqa, leading specialist for the criminally insane.

Prem and Heer's honeymoon was on the isle of skye, which was just a hop skip and jump from the arctic circle. Heer teased Prem that this was the ideal place for him to wear his thick gramps pjs. Prem teased Heer back that with her there he didn't need a stitch of clothing to keep warm. It turned out that Prem was right..............

Chapter 98

It has been three weeks since Prem and Heer's wedding. Everyone was back home apart from Prem and Heer who were still on their honeymoon. Fari decided she had way too much fun bossing people around and planning things so she decided to surprise Prem and Heer by decorating their new house for them.

"FARRRIIII!! I can't move now!! How many more times will you make us move the furniture around?" asked Mercedes as Fari made her change the placing of the main couch again.

"This is perfect!" Fari said finally.

After putting the final touches to the house, since Prem and Heer were supposed to return that night, that is if they didn't postponed their trip for the nth time, Fari, Mercedes and Sona went out to lunch.

"You know, I feel like something big is missing in my life. I haven't talked to Heer since that....that embarrassing day." Fari said sadly.

"Awww Fari! Heer is now a married woman, I think it's time you stop being so over protective and let her enjoy her life. She'll eventually get over the newly married phase and come to you to complain about Prem to you." Sona said wisely.

"I think Sona is right" Mercedes said as she sipped on her mineral water.

At 7 pm, Fari and Biru made their way to Heathrow to pick up Prem and Heer. After what seemed like forever, they both finally came out of the terminal looking pale and skinny like they didn't have anything to eat for the longest time. Never the less, with the biggest smiles on their faces.

"Heeriye!" Fari said as she hugged Heer who in return was also happy to see her best friend. "How was the honeymoon than?"

Heer blushed and Fari undersood. "Um Heeriye, don't mind me asking, but did you and Prem even saw the Isle of Skye or whatever? Forget that, did you guys even eat?"

Heer once again turned red. "I am starving, let's go eat dinner."

Chapter 99

Dinner was at Euston, where Pem went mad with the parathas and Heer was trying to tell him to slow down. Fari told them about the house decorating. Heer seemed pleased. She would go and rearrange everything, just wouldn't tell Fari about it.

9PM and Fari and Biru drove Prem and Heer to Kensington, said their goodbyes to Prem and Heer and then went next door to their house.

Heer wanted to see what exactly Fari had done to the place but Prem wouldn't let her.

"This is our new home Heer, the first order of business is you know what."

"What right here? In the living room?"

Prem didn't need to be asked twice. As he pulled her to him she said between kisses, "I hope you triple locked the door."

"I did and I also set the alarm."

Chapter 100

For once, Sona's prediction didn't come true. As days went by, it seemed to Fari that Heer was more interested in locking herself in a room with Prem than doing anything else.

It was another lunch date with Mercedes and Sona that Fari cried about missing Heer.

"I don't even see her anymore. I feel like I saw her more when I lived in New York while she lived here. Now we live next door and I barely see her. Prem hardly goes to work, Heer has forgotten about her acting career, something she worked so hard on. I don't feel like living here anymore. I want to go back to New York."

"Fari, give them time. This is all new to them." said Mercedes sweetly.

"New? It's been over 6 months! I got tired of Biru after the first day!" cried Fari.

"Well, you are a special case." Sona said hugging Fari.

So after lunch, Fari and Biru made plans to move back to New York. Biru was missing his old buddies and not to mention his stupid cat, Pebbles. Fari tried to meet Heer to tell her but it would have been easier for Fari to get an appointment to meet the Queen than Heer. So Fari left without informing her.

As Heer frantically ran out of her bathroom and out of her house, barefoot, she rang the doorbell to the house next door. Nobody answered. Even Biru's car wasnt' there. She went back inside and tried ringing her best friend but the phone was switched off. What seemed like Deja Vu to Heer, she dialed Sona's number asking her for Fari.

"Didn't Fari tell you?"

"Tell me what, Sona?"

"She and Biru moved to New York. Like a MONTH ago!"

Heer felt guilty. If she was honest to herself, she didn't see her friend for at least 4 months now. Heer dialed Fari's New York number. It was still early morning there.

"Heyho!" said a sleepy Fari.

"Fari! This is Heer!"

"Oh who, wha? Heer?? HEER!!!" Fari sat up waking up Biru and Pebbles who was sleeping at the foot of the bed.

"Fari how can you move to New York without telling me?"

"Well aren't you a bit late? We moved like a month ago! What's up? How come you remembered me all of a sudden?" Fari said getting a bit angry.

"Fari, I am pregnant!" said Heer, panicking.

"Um right, this won't work with me again."

"Fari, I swear to you, this time I am telling the truth."
