Prem took heer near the table and he went on his knees and he took the diamond ring out of his coat pocket and held heer's left hand and he said "heer I prem juneja today is asking you heer Mann that will you marry me, I promise to keep you happy, fulfil all your wishes and to be always on your side in good and bad times, I want to grow old with you, I want to see you every morning beside me" heer looked at prem with tears in her eyes and she said "yes" prem put a ring in her finger and he got up and he hugged heer and then he said "I love you heer" and heer said "I love you too but I don't want to grow old" prem and heer both laughed and then prem put his hands around heer's waist and heer's hands around prem's neck and they both kissed each other gently and then prem opened the champagne and they had their toast.
They were walking in the parking lot hand in hand and they saw the whole juneja family coming out of the restaurant and prem was shocked to see them there lalit and everyone looked at prem and heer and then he asked everyone to get into their car and they left except preet who stood their he came towards heer and prem and the first thing he did was gave prem a big brotherly hug and he cried on his shoulder prem hugged him back and when they broke out from the hug he gave heer a side hug and then preet said " PB please come back home there is nothing same now in the house no one hardly talk to each other and they all behave like strangers" preet was still crying prem said " preet you will have to understand that now I can't come back home bauji will never accept me and you will have to take my place and look after everyone" preet said "but PB how can I take your place PB please come back I'm sure bauji will forgive you" prem hugged preet and said "I forgot to tell you something me and heer got engaged today" preet went near heer and embraced her into a brotherly hug and he said "congratulations bhabhi" heer thanked him. Then prem asked preet "how is maa is she taking her medicine on right time" preet said "bhayia you know maa she doesn't look after herself she hardly eats anything since the day you left the house maa and bauji never spoke to each other" prem was in tears and he walked to his car, preet looked at heer and he said "bhabhi please both of you come home" heer gave him assuring smile and she said "I will speak to prem" and then they said bye to each other and left.
At the apartment
They reached home but prem did not once talk to heer he drove silently and in the bedroom he got changed and went to sleep and heer was feeling sad for prem and then she slept beside him his back was facing her, at first she wanted to hug him but then she turned around and fell a sleep.
Next morning heer was in the washroom and when she came out she saw that prem left for the office without even telling her and then she thought that he is upset about his mother and she went to the kitchen to make coffee for herself.
In the evening geet and kunal had their dinner and they insisted heer to have something to eat but she didn't have anything because she wanted to have dinner with prem so she decided to wait for him and it was 11:00 clock and prem was still not home heer tried calling him on his mobile but it came out to be switched off and then she didn't notice all this time while waiting for prem she fell sleep on the couch in the living room and in the morning she woke up from the sun rays which directly came on her face. She got up from the couch and she went to her bedroom and again tried to call prem and again it was switched off she went to get freshen up and then she was about to phone his work place but she heard the house main door slam and she came out and she saw prem looking all shattered and she went near him but to her dismay he walked past her and went to get shower heer was shocked to see prem behaving like this and then she went to the kitchen and made him black coffee and she took it to her bedroom and placed the coffee cup on the table and she went near prem who was standing near the dressing table getting dressed. She placed her hands on his shoulder.
