Part - 38
Heer puts her steps forward to leave the house. she asks forgiveness to Prem in her heart 'I Promised you that I won't leave you and our family in any situation. But now you are making me to take this decision to leave your forever.'
Prem is confused in his mind. He is staring at his life moving out of him.
Preet obediently 'ji Dad.' He is about to dial the number.
Prem interrupted 'Dad, why you need a lawyer now?'
Lalit 'yes Prem. it is a correct question.' He walked past everyone and sat down in the sofa 'I believe she is my DIL Heer and Chahat is my Grand daughter. So I cannot send them out just like this. Chahat is already suffering in a sickness. So I have decided to change all the property to Chahat name and Heer will be the guardian till Chahat turns 20. In between if something happens to Chahat, property will go to charity. Still Heer will be the authority over the property. Anyone from Junejas will not have the right over the property anymore. We can simply enjoy the comfort given by Heer.' He remained silent for a second 'if she gives.' Prem and Heer shocked.
As Preet and Lalit expected, Sanjana is the first one to react 'what rubbish? It has been proved that Chahat is not Prem's blood and now this cheater is Anjali not Heer.'
Lalit interrupted 'let me finish. Otherwise Heer and Chahat will stay her. No one has the rights to chase them out. Only she has the right to chase us out.' he gave a gentle smile. Gaya3, Preet and Megher waited for Prem's reaction.
Heer 'Dad.' Lalit pointed his fingers to Heer to be quiet 'its my decision.'
Prem with anger 'you all enjoy with your DIL and grand daughter. I'm leaving this house forever. I cannot stay here. You will surely come to me when she throws you out of this house.' Gaya3 is the one got upset but looking at Lalit's face she kept quiet thinking 'they are planning something.'
Preet 'PB, do you want me to book tickets for you?'
Prem in anger 'yes. Next earliest flight.'
Heer 'Dad.' Lalit interrupted 'I'm not bothered about you Prem. I'm old and want to spend my days with my grand daughter happily.' Prem gave an angry look and went up to pack his things. Sanjana is restless and followed Prem.
Gaya3 'what have you done? First Heer now Prem, whats all this? Don't you know that Prem won't bother about the property?'
Lalit confidently and calmly'Gaya3, Prem won't but Sanjana will.' Gaya3 looked at him with confusing face.
Preet came to Gaya3 'Ma. Now Sanjana will stop PB. She is behind our property. How she will leave PB like that?'
Lalit 'Gaya3 come sit. Lets enjoy the show.' Chahat went to Lalit. Lalit picked her up 'come dear. Your Papa won't leave you just like that. How can he go away from his angel?' Heer stood there silently praying 'please God.'
In Prem room. Prem pulled out a suitcase and started dumping his things. Sanjana came in with anger. 'Prem'
Prem in anger 'I'm leaving to Canada. I cannot live here with her.'
Sanjana 'this money and the fame belong to you. why do you want to leave this to a cheater?'
Prem 'I can earn this money with my intelligence.' He started pulling out his suits from the closet.
Sanjana got tensed thinking 'you can earn but to earn this much crores you will take another 20 years. i'm not a fool to wait for that much years.' he stopped Prem 'Prem, listen to me. if you leave like this she will succeed in her plan. Soon she will take all the property and leave your family in the middle of the road.'
Prem stood silently for a while.' Sanjana is happy that her plan works out nicely. Prem turned to Sanjana 'but'
Prem came down with Sanjana 'Dad, she can stay here. but one condition.'
Lalit, Gaya3, Preet and Megher jumped silently in joy. Heer stared at them.
Gaya3 'Heer you go up and take rest. Avoid Prem every time you encounter with him. See how he is going to fall for you.' Heer smiled. She took Chahat and went upstairs thinking 'will I get my Prem back?' Heer is happy that Prem allowed her to stay. 'I can see his face daily.'
Rest of the day was silent and no one talked anything to other. Prem stayed inside his room. Sanjana decided to pour oil to flare up his anger. Prem is sitting in the bed thinking about the events. His face clearly showed that he is still confused about Heer. Sanjana decided to play carefully. 'Prem, when are you going to take over the charges.'
Prem in uninteresting voice 'may be in two or three days.'
Sanjana 'why can't you go to the office from today?'
Prem 'Dad will doubt about my decision. He may think that I'm trying to chase Heer out. I want to move carefully. She has created such a big impact in this house.'
Sanjana 'she is a very good actress. See, how carefully she played and won all your family members heart.' She showed her angry face 'even the little devil is acting according to situation.' When she mentioned Heer as a actress and Chahat as devil, Prem unconsciously clenched his fist in anger . 'Sanjana, please leave me alone for sometime.'
Sanjana decided not to leave him alone this time. 'Prem, we'll go out for sometime.'
Prem in a pleading voice 'Please Sanjana.'
Sanjana sat next to him in the bed 'Okay Prem. I'll not disturb you.' she moved closer to him. She placed her hand on his lap. She moved forwards to keep her head on his chest. He felt irritated by her move.
He immediately pushed her away 'Sanjana, what are you doing?' he jumped out of the bed. He moved to the window facing away from her. She went behind him and leaned on to his back keeping her face on his back. She moved her hand around him to keep on his chest. He pushed her away. He turned and slapped hard on her face. 'Don't you feel ashamed for doing like this?'
She is upset by his move but she is sure that he won't fall for Heer anyway. 'you are the most unromantic man in this world.' she moved out of the room.
Her last word made him think about his relationship with Heer. 'how can I be unromantic man? I always touched Heer whenever I found her in front of me. I never waited for her permission. Sanjana came forward voluntarily to me, I felt only hatred towards her. I didn't feel the same attraction for Sanjana.'
Prem came to have lunch. He saw Heer standing in the kitchen. Heer noticed Prem coming down. she quickly ordered a servant to keep all the dishes on the table. Prem sat in the table for a while, then his mind clicked with some idea. He went to the Kitchen. Heer is alone and busy putting the food in the tray for Chahat. Prem 'Heer, give me one glass of water.'
Heer handed over him a glass of water without looking at his face. Without noticed by Heer he added salt to water. He acted as if he is drinking and spit the water out. Heer turned and looked at Prem, who is now standing there with anger. Heer went to him with confusion.
She ran to the sink and started threw out everything. She is almost struggling to breath. His heart felt pain and he stepped forward to help her. He felt tears in his eyes. But Megher entered the kitchen and saw Heer vomiting. 'Didi, what happened? Are you alright?' she gave a look to Prem. Prem moved out quietly. she helped Heer to clean up. 'Didi, you go and take rest.' Heer nodded and moved out of the kitchen. Prem watched Heer with tears going upstairs.
In the night, Heer is working in her room. Others are gone to sleep. After putting Chahat to sleep, Heer started concentrate on Prem's dream project. She was totally involved in her work and didn't notice entering her room and Prem closing the door behind him. He came and sat in the couch. 'so you are doing all the work.' Heer shocked to see Prem. she looked at him as if she didn't understand his point. He in a teasing tone 'You are a sincere PS. Taking care of your boss and the same time doing his work.'
Heer 'it is my duty to fulfil your dream.' She is about to pick up a file, which is near Prem on the couch. She bent down to pick up. He pulled her down on to him. Heer is shocked by his sudden pull. She fell on the couch. He picked up the file from her hand placed it away. He pulled her closer. Heer didn't know how to react to his move.
Suddenly he pushed her away and got up from the couch. She is shocked and still lying on the couch. He gave a cheap smile to her 'you are my wife for few more months. I can do anything?'
Heer is lying on the couch in a shock 'my own husband treats me as' She cried uncontrollably.
She got up and moved to bed. She looked at Chahat face. She is already shattered by Chahat's health finally decided 'I'll finish myself.' She cried hugging Chahat. Your Papa is not believing me.' she placed her on the bed 'Sorry Chahat . I failed. I'm ready to leave this world with you.'
In Prem room, he is restless and hitting his hand on the wall. 'Why I'm feeling unhappy whenever I torture her. I took advantage of her. Why I'm going out of control when I saw her in front of me?' He hits his hand on the bed. 'Why I behaved with her like this. I treated her as.' he fell flat on the bed cursed himself for hurting Heer. He covered his face with his palm. 'Sorry Heer, I didn't mean to hurt you. Don't get angry on me.'
He is confused 'if she is Anjali why she is taking care of my family like hers. If not why she talks to Sanjana like that. Why she didn't take anything more than a picture, if she is behind my money. Who is she? Heer or Anjali?' he cried 'please God help me.'
