Part - 22

Next morning, 'Prem, get up. Prem, get up.' Heer voice came from Prem's mobile alarm. He smiled looking at the picture in his hand.

****Flash back

Heer 'Prem, get up.' Prem pulled her down on to him 'let me sleep for few more hours.' Heer 'houuurrrs.' She got up from him and looked at him with angry. Prem again pulled her down on him but this time he didn't allow her to get up. 'you too come and sleep with me.'

Heer tried to release herself from him but failed. She kept her head on his chest 'Prem, you are sleeping like a kid. You can't be a good father.' Prem shocked and looked at her with sad face 'why Heer?'

Heer 'how will you teach our kid to wake up early, when you sleep like this.'

Prem with confidence 'that time I'll wake up early. Before you.' Heer gave a unbelievable look to him. Prem pulled her up to keep his cheek on hers. 'Heer, I have planned many things for our kids.'

Heer 'tell me one.' She thinks for a while 'umm. What are you going to do for child's first birthday.'

Prem 'it's a long way still I have planned for that also.' Heer looked proudly at him.

Prem 'we'll spend the whole day with our kid. I'll announce free food and toys for Kids in all of our hotels.'

Heer 'you are a cute father.' She kissed his cheek. they hugged and she hurried him to get out of the bed.

Prem 'Heer, please for few more minutes. Heer please.' He is again interrupted by the Heer's voice from the alarm again. He switched off the alarm. Prem kissed Heer cheek in the picture and jumped out of the bed.

When Prem reached his hotel, Heer is already holding the files for the meeting. Prem 'good morning Heer. Is everything ready?'

Heer 'good mornig sir. Its ready.' She handed over the file to him. He picked up the file from her and flipped some papers 'lets move to the Conference room.' He started walking towards the door.

Heer 'sir, one second.' Prem looked at her with a questioning face. Heer 'sir, your tie.' She pointed her index finger towards his tie. He adjusted 'okay come.'

Heer 'sir.' He looked at her with frustration 'whaaat?'

Heer 'sir' She stepped forward to him. After a second hesitation, she kept his hands on his tie and adjusted it. He is staring at her. She avoided looking into his eyes.

She felt a hand wrapping around her waist. She leaned on his chest. She hugged him back tightly. He lifts her face with his finger. He ran his fingers through her hair. Lovingly he rubbed his cheek on hers. She closed her eyes. He kissed her forehead.

Suddenly she came out of her dream and looked up. She is holding his tie with her hands. He is looking down at her with his hands in his pockets. She shyly moved away tucking her hair behind her ear and looked down.

Prem smiled 'is it okay now?' she nodded. She followed him to conference room.

After the meeting, Prem went down to nursery. He searched for Chahat. She is sitting on the floor with some other kids of her age. She crawled to him, when she saw Prem coming towards her. With smile she stood clutching his legs. Prem picked her up in his arms. She smiled and touched his face. He kissed her cheek as he walked outside. He sat on the grass stretching one leg and keeping her on another leg which is folded. She jumped happily on his lap. He nuzzzled his nose on hers and touched his forehead with hers. She enjoyed his action. She laughed clapping her hands.

Lady came to Prem and handed a piece of cake 'today, Chahat's birthday.' Prem's eyes filled with tears. He kissed her 'happy birthday, Chahat.' She smiled and nodded her head as if she understood his love. Prem and Chahat ate the cake. She rubbed some of the cream on his face and laughed. He kissed her cheek.

Prem picked up the phone 'Ms. Maya, today announce the free food for Kids of age 10. Give all of them a small toy as a gift.'

Maya 'sir, already our hotel in lo..'

Prem 'do what I say.' he cut the line without further argument.

Prem played with Chahat. Hotel staffs are watching their CEO playing with a kid. Some of the customers even took picture of Prem playing with Chahat. Some one commented 'a child can make a CEO to sit on the grass.'

Heer is wondering 'why all are peeping outside through window.' She went to Ash, who is also looking out. 'Ash, what's happening, everyone..' her eyes fell outside, where Prem and Chahat is playing. She stood stunned.

Ash 'look there Heer, how cute he is playing with a kid? How handsome..' nothing went to Heer's ear. Heer eyes are still on Prem and Chahat. Her eyes filled with tears. She quickly ran out to her room. Ash wondered 'what happened to her suddenly?'

Maya breaking her head 'What happened to Mr. Prem? he is telling me to announce free meals to kids that too without any proper advertisement. Hotel is going to face a heavy loss.' She called the manager in charge for the restaurant. She gave them instruction to announce free food for kids below age 10 and the gift to all of them. Maya sat in her chair with anger 'who is this Heer? Sanjana wants to put her in safe place and Mr. Prem gives treat to everyone for her child. what's happening here?'

Prem is sitting on the couch in his cabin thinking about Chahat. Heer came in with a file. 'Sir, you have meeting today at ..' she looked at Prem, who is sitting lost in his thoughts. She went near to him.

She sat next to him. She placed her hand on his lap 'Prem.' he looked at her lovingly. Her face blushed 'Prem, why are you looking at me like this.' He moved forward and pulled her closed to him. She placed the file on the table in front of her and moved closer to him. She placed her palm on his chest. He kept right palm under her head and pulled her closer to touch her lips. She responded quickly. His left hand moved down to her salwar to remove few of her buttons and fingers slipped under her dress to grab her breast. He kissed her passionately caressing her breast. Her fingers grabbed his hair tightly and her body moved backward to rest her head on the back of the couch to give him a comfortable position.

He snapped his fingers in front of her face. She came out of her dream. She is standing in front of him. She is staring at him. he is just smiling at her. She wants to hug him tightly. Prem smiled 'Heer, when is my meeting?'

Heer fumbled 'sir, today 3 PM.' She excused herself from there quickly. Prem smiled running his fingers through his hair.

Heer went to her cabin. She fell in her chair. She covered her mouth with her palm. She quickly ran to washroom. She stood in front of the mirror. She remembers her dream again. Her lips ached to touch his. Her hands moved to touch her breast without conscious. She splashed water on her face 'what happened to me? why I always want him to tou..' she splashed more water on her face.

After the meeting, Heer is working in front of Prem. Her hair falls frequently on her face. Prem watched it. He got up from the chair went to her. He stood silently behind her for a second. He slowly stretched his hand to tuck it behind her ear. But he clenched his fist nearing her face.

He walked away and sat in the couch. Heer is still concentrating on the job. He took the knife, which is kept on the table to cut fruits. He took one apple from the fruit tray. He thought for a while and looked at Heer, who is still busy with her work. Prem shouted 'ouch.'

Heer turned towards him. She saw Prem hand bleeding. 'Premmm.' She jumped forward to him. she tore her dupatta and tied around his palm. 'can't you be careful.' He is staring at her. She ran to bring the first aid box. She opened the box and found there is no cotton in it. She threw a angry look to the box and ran outside to get cotton. She back with a box. She knelt before him. She took cotton and wiped his blood and put dressing around his wound. His eyes are still on her.

Prem with a calm voice 'Why are you getting worried?'

Heer with tears 'I cannot see you in pain.' She was quiet for a second 'you are my boss. I need to take care of you also as per the order.'

Prem smiled 'just for a small cut you tore your beautiful dupatta. Its not in the order.' She moved away from him hiding her tears thinking 'how can I see you in pain.'

Prem thinking 'why are you trying to hide your heart from me?' tears came out of his eyes.

After office hour, Heer went to nursery to pick up Chahat. She noticed a chain around her neck. 'ji, this chain.'

Lady 'Prem sir gave to her as his birthday gift. He announced free food for Kids in our hotel today. He also gave all the other kids a gift.'

Heer couldn't control her tears, quickly walked away from there with Chahat.

In the night, Prem is staring at his laptop.

*****Flash back

'Preemmm' Heer shouted. Prem is keeping his head on the board and he is in his dream world. Heer curdled into his chest. He wrapped her with his hands. He kissed her head.

Heer 'Prem, I'm hear. But you are in dream world. thinking about another girl.'

Prem nodded. Heer got angry. She sat on the bed. 'What?'

Prem pulled her back on to him keeping her face close to his face and wrapped his hand around her waist. He nuzzled his nose on her cheek. 'thinking about our daughter.'

Heer 'you started giving her face now.'

Prem 'yes. she will exactly look like.'

Heer interrupted 'we are not God. How will we know how our daughters face will look like?' She pulled his nose.

Prem with confidence 'I know our daughter face. I can identify her without any clue.' Heer opened her mouth. He lowered his mouth to hers. Heer 'how?' Prem rubbing his finger on lips 'this lips and smile.' He kissed her lips.

Prem stared at the picture again. He has merged Chahat picture with Prem and Heer. 'my family.' he smiled. Prem is lost in his thoughts. 'I did the mistake. I should have enquired further about the accident, I should not blindly believed the burnt dead body as Heer.' He hit his fist on his head. ' But I'm totally shattered and didn't do anything.' He looked Heer picture. 'you are in front of me but couldn't recognize me. is it true that you lost memory or pretending to be?'

His mind flashed with hotel event when he looked his bandaged palm. He recollected the scene 'She addressed me as Prem…' he thinks again and again. 'yes she called me Prem not Sir.' He smiled. 'You are coming closer to me Heer.'

Prem received call from Preet 'Preet, did you got any information?'

Preet with a happy voice 'PB, you are right. Bhabi left to Mumbai later in the night flight. Megher even saw the video of that day passengers checking in. Bhabi is there.'

Prem 'is it?' he almost jumped in joy.

Preet 'We also checked Mumbai airport. They confirmed bhabi's entry into India. Another thing, Bhabi must be in India now. She didn't move out of the country after that. I checked that also.'

Prem shouted with joy 'Preet, thanks.' He looked at Heer picture. He kissed her cheek 'thanks.'

Prem is lying on the bed thinking about his past days with Heer. He closed his eyes. He saw Heer standing in the middle of fire hugging Chahat. She is shouting 'Preemmmmm. Premmm.' He quickly jumped out of the bed. He started sweating. He became restless 'why I'm feeling that my Heer is in danger'. He don't want to waste time. He quickly changed and moved out to check Heer.
