Heer heard the horn of a car and she ran towards the window to check. No it was not her husband. Why he is doing like this? She looked at the clock. It's 7.10.pm. he had promised her to come back from the office before 6.30.pm. it's his usual habit to promise her something and break it in the end. She felt that he loved to torture her with his false promises. She was feeling slightly angry , but she knows she can't, because every time just his sight will melt her anger. The effect he had on her was that deep. Her hands automatically went towards her maang. It's not filled. Today she wanted her maang to be filled by his hands. Her eyes fall on the "sindhoor" box. She slowly took the box in her hand.
FLASH BACK
3rd june 2007
Heer is standing in front of the moorthy of shivji in the shiv mandhir. There is slight rush in the temple. Everyone is busy with praying and getting the Prasad from the panditji. She is having the pooja ki taali in her hands which was filled with flowers Prasad and sindhoor. She is praying silently with her eyes closed. Her eyes filled with tears which are about to fall down. She is trying hard to stop them from coming out since she wanted no one to see that. She had come there to share her sorrows with shivji. It's her habit from the childhood to share her feelings with the shivji. Whenever she is sad she used to run towards the shiv mandhir and share her sorrows with him.
But for This time instead of praying for her she had come to pray for her parents. They were too much worried about her marriage since there was some problems in her "kundali". It was too difficult to get a guy whose kundali will be matching with her's. She belongs to a traditional orthodox family who are very much particular about such things. So her parents wanted to make her marriage as soon as possible. But none of the proposals was getting matched. She had got frustrated with the procedure of standing in front of lot of unknown persons and answering their questions looking down. But at last one of them got matched and engagement had been fixed. Today was supposed to be her engagement, but that guy ran away with some other girl and engagement got cancelled. She is not sad that her engagement got stopped but instead she is worried for her parents. Her mom was crying so bitterly and her dad was all silent unable to utter a single word. That was more than enough for her to bear.
She prayed to shivji to show the boy of her fate as soon as possible so that the worries of her parents will be over. She can't see them in this condition. At last the drops of tears fell out of her eyes which she was trying hard to stop from falling. She turned back wiping her tears, suddenly she hit with someone. Flowers from the taali flied towards the sky and then started to fall dawn along with the 'sindhoor'. She was about to fall but two strong arms stopped her from falling. She closed her eyes tightly in fear of falling and when she opened her eyes she saw two chocolate brown eyes. Flower petals are still showering on her from above. She hadn't seen such powerful eyes in her life. Those eyes were staring deep into her heart. She felt as if her feelings is being read by someone. She dint know how long she was staring in those eyes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see as I was talking in the phone"
She came to her senses as she heard those words. She got up from those arms with the help of that boy. He is handsome and smart. His ruffle hair was falling onto forehead and was moving slightly in the breeze. This made him even cuter. Somehow she managed to take her eyes from him.
"It's OK."
She replied in a lowered voice. She leaned down and started to collect the Prasad that had fall down. The boy too sat beside her to help her in collecting the things which had fall down. Once again she felt his eyes over her and it made her nervous.
"sorry,who aapki maang mein'."
He didn't complete the sentence; instead he pointed his fingers on to her forehead. Even though she didn't understand what he meant she simply touched her forehead with her right hand and looked at it. She found the sindhoor on her fingers. She got shocked and tried to remove the sindhoor from her maang.
"I'm sorry, yeh lijiye'I think it will help u.."
He stretched his hand kerchief towards her. She took it from his hands and rubbed it over fore head. Half of the sindhoor got removed by this way but another half remained there itself. She handed back the kerchief to him and thanked him. He just gave a cute smile and left from there without saying anything. She stood there itself for some time watching him going down through the steps of shiv mandhir. Once again she touched her maang with her hand; the sindhoor is still there'.
FLASH BACK ENDS
Heer is standing staring at the sindhoor box in her hand. Today is 3rd June 2008, one year since he had filled her maang, one year since she started to consider herself as a wife. She doesn't know anything about him, not even his name, but still she considered herself as his wife. In her inner mind she had a feeling that one day he will come to her life to complete her. At last that day came, but she had to wait for 8 months for that day to come. She don't know how she felt when she was shown his photo by her mom telling this is "prem" with whom your marriage has been fixed, was it shock? Or excitement? She don't know.
The second time when she saw him he was her groom. She had seen him wearing a cute maroon shervani through her gunghat vaguely. She felt shivering when he touched her bare skin while wearing the mangalsuthra. From that day she became completely his.
From the very next day they both shifted to Mumbai. They were staying alone in a huge flat. She knows that he liked her, also cared her a lot. But she didn't know whether he LOVED her or whether he had any feelings for her. He is always busy with his business. He found it very difficult to give her some time to spend with him. Daily he used to come home late in the night. Even in the Sundays he will be busy with his files or lappy. She felt very much lonely being with him but she loved him more than her life. Still she didn't confess her love and feelings to him. Actually she didn't get time for that. But today she had decided to confess her love. In the morning she had told him to come home early, since she wanted to open her mind towards him in front of the shivji. But ''..
Ding dong'.ding dong'''.
She heard the calling bell ringing.
Sorry friends I'm little busy, I'll complete tomorrow,
