wtf#1: y'know one thing that has been bugging me? exactly how does heer get away with not wearing the sindoor and mangalsutra thingie? just that she wants to show that she doesn't have a husband to worship as a god anymore?
wtf#2: so. gi-it loves heer. gi-it loves prem. and she has done all she has done to get prem-heer-are-one together.
so in my list of ''words for love'', i guess this would be ''pyar''. but not ishq. and imho, not mohabbat.
but is there ibaadat in her love for them? shabnam (lilsasha) explained that ibaadat stands for ''worship'' in love. does gi-it ''worship'' them in love? in which case, what exactly does she worship?
oh and yeah -- gi-it knew 'bout prem and heer all this time!
so she was not some schizophrenic person who could see exactly what heer was feeling some of the times, and could never get all the prem-heer-ness that was floating in her face! phew!
wtf#3: as heer ran out of gi-it's door at the end of the show, apparently to go to prem, i had a flashback of the entire last one week. where the only heer we have seen is a completely resolved to ''leave'' prem. imho, it was completely secondary that she was ''leaving'' prem so that he and gi-it could get together. the thing that came through loudest was that she was intent on ''leaving'' prem.
'cause for me, the worst thing that heer has ever done as prem-heer-are-one ka heer so far was that moment when she urged gi-it, right in front of prem and her daughter, to prove her love for prem by getting engaged to him. and that was just before prem was beseeching her with his eyes to stand up in front of everyone and stop the engagement.
so now, heer is about ready to run off back to jzoo, after finding out that gi-it really doesn't want prem as heer had originally thought (that all her confession of love for prem was fake). thing is: she knows and prem knows that she had tried hard to get out of prem-heer-are-one-ness.
my question: what would prem do now? when heer comes to him, what could she possibly tell him about all those stooopid things she said in public? and what should prem do?
🤔
y'know? now that i think about it? i think that ram and sita of the ramayan actually was the really ''right'' way for that story to go forward. that sita never went back to ram. and here? after that public rejection by heer, what should prem do? granted that this is all he has ever wanted -- a life with heer and his little daughter. but ... now? now what should he do?
me? i know that prem-heer-are-one means that inside their souls, they can never be apart. prem (like heer) has no ego, no self, where there is no heer. i guess what makes prem of prem-heer-are-one is that no matter what she said, he will take her to him with open arms. no?
*sigh* if he does, all i can imagine is that i get these two -- but man, i could never be like 'em. *pause* i think. 😃
wtf#4: said this (lots of times!) before, saying it again -- what was prem trying to achieve by having heer say she loves him in front of everyone?
i seriously, truly, didn't get it. unless... it was as part of pbauji's plan to not run after heer? is that what he was aiming for? *sigh! yet another reason to detest that silly old man's plan! why don't these jzoo types stop interfering in prem-heer-are-one, damned it!??! 😡* thanks to that stooopid plan, heer may have started thinking that she is not worthy of being prem's mate. and prem stood mute in this heer-needs-to-say-it-aloud mode.
so disastrously unlike the usual prem-heer-are-one-ness. *sigh*
i can't wait for the day that heer will ask prem to come be with her, prem follows aand they end up leaving jzoo and living (truly, finally) happily ever after! 'cause that would finally be the end of this trauma of ''kis desh mein hai mera dil'' and the start of prem-heer-are-one-happily-ever-after, no? 😍 😆
wtf#6: i guess the main thing that sticks out in my mind this weekend is that one of the things that i have steadfastly trusted about this show has gotten shaken.
i used to believe that the one thing the creatives have not messed up on was the consistency of the characters. and while i know they did that by smashing gayatri-mom to dust and crafted glob out of her remains, i guess i didn't care so much. i cared much more when i realised that they had already fooled 'round with prem ignoring heer as hip-hop. and now when they made heer do that ''pick up the ring and get engaged to prem'' stunt last week. 🤢and maybe i should actually wait to see what they tell us happened six years ago to make prem leave india. but i am weary w&w-ing for the story to make sense.
and like soaps, i am one of those people who can believe in the characters but need a reason to like their story to watch it as it continues. absurd storylines are a bad way to spend time, imho.
so more than wtf-ing, i am hoping against hope that (just like they eventually did for prem during the hip-hop;hole-in-the-hea[d,rt] phase) they eventually tell us the story, the whole story, and nothing but the story -- even if it is as bad as the hole-in-the-head[d,rt] one! 😆 *what else is a hopelessly hopeful girl to do? 😆*
wtf#7: oh. and i do hope they tell us where nihaal is... 😆 poor lost nihaal. first some crazy lady kidnaps him from his family when he's a kid, and he's a gaping hole in heer-meher's life. and now, even as a grown up, he's a gaping hole in heer-meher's life!
wtf#8: i know we are never gonna get something cool and interesting as this: but i wish that the story going forward would have gi-it being the rock that stands between prem-heer and glob?
'cause remember -- she was the girl who figured that glob was a seriously demented person from the way that she tried to bite the head of that begger woman a long time ago? so she knows what a khaddoos person she is. and she probably has understood by now that heer and prem kinda treat this worthless cadaver with feet of clay as a god. and that they need serious -- and active! -- protection from her. (unlike the jzoo-ites who know it and apparently can't do a damned thing 'bout it! 😡 )
hmmm. which means... that we are still in ramayan. *yeah, yeah, i'm back to wtf-ing which of the myths this show links to... 😆*
and now glob is ravan (obviously!). and we still have our ram. and our sita. both of them sad and miserable being seperated from each other. there is still lakshman, who is always at ram's side. *'xcept sigh, our preet is there and yet,.. not there. sigh. miss you, (god of smiles) preet..*
which could make... gi-it is ram-sita/prem-heer's ... er... hanuman?? 😆
this could actually be rather interesting. 'cause would that make glob ravan now?? we've been through one ravan-like situation before: ratpal who wanted to take revenge on ram 'cause ram was the cause of his sister's ''death''.
now we have glob who is trying to kill prem-heer-are-one 'cause she sees heer (er.. and heer's genes, i guess) as the cause of her daughter's death.
in neither case -- either ratpal or glob -- are the characters even remotely noble. but that's not what stories do -- they don't copy cat exactly. i wonder if this is what the story is saying, in principle, though.
but man! gi-it hanuman would soooo totally rock! except...
*sigh* is not gonna happen, no? watching the quality and the brains that are going into writing the storylines/script today, is just not gonna, no? *sad, sad, sad, sad, saaaad muh*
wtf#9: lastly but not leastly, and with a lot more hope -- man, i can hardly wait for glob to get her just desserts!
just like i could hardly wait for dirtchachi to get hers when she was the resident evil in the show. that greedy woman who was happy to destroy the lives of her nieces just to get money -- and who eventually lost it all and had to live on the streets in poverty. i hope that this insane glob, greedy for prem to be her slave, loses it and has to live -- not as a vegetable! but as a active, aware, living-breathing-constantly-weeping-fat-glycerine-tears person -- without him. or phukda. dirty glob person. she should take lessons from gi-it glob on how to be a more caring mother... 😡
