Chapter 5

The three of them got ready in an hour. Heer got her purse and put on light makeup. PRem and preet wore nice clothing. They waved good bye and left. As usuall Prem and Heer's argument started.

Heer – "we'll go to a mall if you guys want." By you she ment Preet.

Preet – "Ya sure … we can use some shopping."

Prem – "I wana go some where quite…. How about the beach."

Heer – "are you joking do you have any idea how hot it is … I don't plan on getting a tan." Prem raised his eyebrow.

Prem – "aren't you suppose to show US around … so I think you should how us the beach.

Heer – "well Preet wants to go to the Mall…Okay lets go to the mall."

Prem – "I wana go to the beach."

Heer – "I wana go to the Mall."

Prem – "BEACHH"
Heer – "MAALLLLL" She said leaning toward the car. Prem rolled his eyes.

Preet – "How about we go to the mall and then the beach."

Heer – "Ya PRem if you cant listen me atleast listen to your brother."

Prem – "Preet tujhe to mein deek loon ghaa…. And Heer don't get too exicted …OKAY." Heer rolled her eyes and sat in the back.

Prem – "Do I look like your driver …. Come sit in the fornt."

Heer – "by your looks and clothing I wouldn't say a driver… more like a …. Ummm….. lets see Oh ya!!! a JANTIOR" Prem gave her a dirty look.

Heer – "Preet is sitting in the fornt… if you have eyes." Prem just gave her a fake smile and listed to Heer while she was giving instructions. They would argue time to time. Preet would just plug his ears when they yelled at each other. When they reached the Mall Preet was tired of their arguing so he went alone. Heer didn't want to be with Prem. Everyone went their separate ways and decided to meet in the caf in an hour.

Heer was looking for a anarkali. She spotted a red one with a lot of embroidery.

Heer – "Agar tumhein pata nahi hai tu yeh Girls kay liye hai."

Prem – "Mujhe pata hai … I am buying t for someone special."

Heer – "Veera??" Prem frowned

Prem – "NO I mean my ummm…. Ummm… my Girlfriend." Heer felt a sharp pain in her heart. Heer's thoughts "He has a girlfriend…Why though?? I mean … Who is she??....Why does this bother me …. Who cares."

Heer – "Girlfriend … Who??" she said looking at jewellary. Prem smiled and looked at her, Heer didn't notice the way he was looking at her.

Prem –" She is a great person to have around… nice entertainment… she fights with me all the time… she likes to argue with me but she is very nice and polite person in the heart and I guess I sorta like her." Heer felt the pain in her heart again. She gave him a weak smile.

Heer – "Who is she?? …. Is she in Canada or India???" Prem smiled again

Prem – "Doesn't matter where she is … as long as she stays in my heart I am happy"

Heer looked away from Prem because she knew their was some kind of sadness in her eyes. Prem smiled. His thoughts "so Ms.Flower feel's jealous…. Interesting…I mean I like her but now its time to find out under all the argument does she feel some thing for me."

Prem – "Can you show me some jewellary … to match with this outfit." Heer nodded and showed him earnings and some other jewellary. Heer all of a sudden felt sad form inside and she didn't know why?. About an hour later they went back to the car and saw Preet coming toward them with about 20 bags.

Heer – " Did you buy the whole shop or something." Preet giggled and put his stuff in the trunk.

Preet – "Well I cant help it there is so much stuff to buy." Heer smiled.

Prem – "Well I am hungry … Heer where can we find a good place to eat." Heer gave him instructions. They came in front of a big house. Preet and Prem frowned.

Prem –"Heer what type of restaurant is this." Heer smiled and got out of the car.

Heer –"My type…lets go" Prem and Preet followed her. Heer rand the door bell. A middle aged man opened the door.

Man –"Good afternoon Ma'am" Heer smiled and went inside. Prem and Preet looked around.

Prem – "Wow what a nice place … What is this??? …. Looks like a house." Heer smiled.

Heer – "Because it is …. My house." Prem and Preet looked at her surprised.

Prem – "I said I wanted a restaurant not a house."

Heer – "Quit acting like a baby Prem … just sit I'll be right back." Heer left the room. Preet and Prem took a seat on the sofa and looked around.

Preet – "PB this Heer really bosses you around ….. plus this house is so cool." Prem nodded.

Prem – "Preet I think I like Heer." Preet's mouth fell open.

Preet – "WOW my little baby has his first crush … but I wouldn't dream of anything … the way you two fight …. I don't think she is interested." Prem smiled.

Prem – " Not yet… just watch my plans." He whispered to him self. Preet looked at him in a weird way and decided to leave it. Suddenly Heer came in wearing a new set of cloths.

Heer – " Rahul …. Rahul…" A servent walked in.

Rahul – "Yes ma'am."

Heer – "Raj or Meher kahan hain."

Rahul – 'Mein unko nula kar lata hoon app wait ki jiye." Heer nodded and tied her hair in a pony tail.

Suddenly bunch of guys walked in. Heer smiled and got up.

Guy 1 – "Hey Heer yaar where were you yeaterday … God yaar you missed some fun."

Guy2 – "Ya man where were you…. It was a blast." Heer hugged them both and waved to the guys in the back. Prem who was watching all of this felt weird.

Heer – "Sorry Guys I was at Veera's and plus where is Yug that stupid didn't even call me." Suddenly a guy wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt walked in. He picked up her by he waist while she giggled. Prem felt like killing the guy that just picked her up. He felt sad when he saw the way she was laughing with him.

Yug –"You say my name and I am present … and thanks for calling me stupid .. baby." He kissed her cheek which made Prem clinch his fists.

Heer –"Why didn't you call … yaar Veera was also asking about you and where were you for the last week??" Yug smiled.

Yug –"Sorry baby I was gone with my dad to some busniss project thing…so when are you coming back from Veera's."

Heer –"Umm…3 months."

Yug – "What the hell yaar 3 months … if you don't come and visit I will never talk to you again" Heer smiled and patted his cheek.

Heer – "I promise I will and now leave … Meher is home and if she sees you…well you know whats gonna happen." She kissed his cheek and waved bye. Heer felt totally rude for ignoring Prem and Preet. She walked upto them and noticed Prem looked a bit down she was about to ask when…Raj walked in. Heer rushed to him and hugged him tightly. Prem smiled the way she loved her brother and called her bhai. Heer introduced Raj to Prem and Preet. They all got along well. Preet and Raj shared some jokes. Prem was happy to meet raj he was a nice guy. Preet and Raj had a lot in common …. Prem and Raj both did the same business so they chatted about their companies. Heer had orderd food since Prem and Preet wanted to chat with Raj. Meher wasn't home so Heer just stayed in her room. Prem walked passed her room and saw her standing in her balconey holding something in her hand. Prem leaned against her door. Heer turned around hearing a crack on her door. She put what ever she had on her dresser and sat on her bed truning on the lights.

Heer – "What happen to you earlier in the living room." Prem rememberd the way Yug had kissed her cheek and picked her up.

Prem –"Umm… nothing… why?"

Heer –"You looked mad …. Well I thought you did." Prem smiled and sat beside her on her bed.

Prem – "Do you know the reason I was angry."

Heer – "Should I??" Prem smiled and nodded.

Heer – "Well I am sorry because I don't why your mad …. and plus sorry for ignoring you guys when my friends came… that's the only reson … I can think you'd be angry."

Prem –"No No its not that… just a bit private."

Heer – "Oh okay … if you don't wana tell me I guess I cant force you." Prem smiled.

Prem – " Well should I…. I mean can I trust you.." Heer thought a little.

Heer – "Umm… well if you don't want me to say anything to anybody I wont …. Now its upto you if you wana trust me or not." Prem smiled and looked in to her eyes.

Prem – "Can I ask you something."

Heer – "Ya sure …. But nothing rude… I don't wana ruin this moment… its probably gonna be the only moment where we don't argue." Prem laughed a bit.

Prem –"Ya your probably right….Plus I just wana ask you a little private question if you don't mind." Heer smiled and nodded.

Prem – " IS Yug your boyfriend." Heer laughed.

Heer – "No NO …. NO WAY … he is like a brother and he is my best friend…. I mean he told me he has feeling for me …. But I don't so I told him how I felt… he treats me like a sister now." Prem looked surprised.

Prem – "Oh Okay …. Well do you have a boyfriend.?"

Heer –" NO I don't plan on dating anyone that's not my type… you might find this stupid but I believe in true love and I only want one person in my life and that's going to be the person I love." Prem surprised again.

Prem – "Wow I thought I was the only one in the world that thought that." Heer looked at him shocked.

Heer – "You… Prem Juneja …The hunk of Vancouver… believes in true love…. Wow I am surprised no … no actually shocked…. A guy like you believes in love."

Prem – " A guy like me??"

Heer – "I just mean … actually nvm somewhere the stuff I am gonna say Is gonna start an argument." Prem smiled at her.

Prem – "Okay then Ms.Flower ….." Heer interrupted by hitting his arm. Prem laughed and so did Heer.

Heer – "I told you to call me Heer …. Why do you keep calling me Ms.Flower."

Prem – " Because the first time I met you … we had an arugument about the flowers so I just decided to call you Ms.Flower." Heer smiled.

Heer – "Okay… since you asked me a private question …. Can I ask you something and be honest." Prem smiled and nodded.

Heer – " Have you ever fallen in love with anybody." Prem looked at Heer smiling and stared into her eyes. Heer noticed the closeness between them.

Prem – "Ya …. I think so." With saying that he moved closer to her. Heer smiled and slowly closed her eyes and tilted her head a bit. He put his hand on her hand that was on the bed. Prem moved closer and closer to her. Heer's Heart beat went up and her body was tickling. When there lips were about to meet….

Raj – "Heer where are you?? … Veera wants you to come home … hurry up." Suddenly Prem and Heer got up. Heer totally red as a tomato. On the other hand Prem ran his hand threw his hair. Both of them looked at each other embarssed.

Heer – "Umm… I think we should leave." Prem nodded. Prem's thoughts "Arrey thankyou Raj sir …. 5 second wait nahi hota tha…. 5 second for god sakes …. Uhhh finally we have a normal talk and Raj Sir comes and ruins it….SHIT SHIT SHIT." Both of them went down stairs. Heer waved Raj good bye and told him to say hi to Meher. With that Heer left. The servent put Heer's suit case in the trunk and Prem drove. All the way they drove Prem shot glances at Heer threw the rear view mirror. She met his gaze once and then decided to look out the window. She had a little blush on her face. When they reached home Preet took put some of his shopping bags and got the servant to take the rest. Prem took the present he brought for his "GIRLFRIEND". Heer didn't buy anything so she just got the servent to take out her suit case. Heer was walking backwards looking at her phone when the serevent bumped into her dropping her suit case. Some of the things fell out of it.

Servant – "Sorry Ma'am." Heer smiled and put her phone in her purse.

Heer – "Its okay I'll pick it up." Prem saw all this and helped Heer [ick up her stuff. She didn't look up to see who was helping her. Heer put everything back and zipped it up again. Prem handed her something she forgot to pick up and looked at the thing he was handing her. It was her necklace that Raj had brought her in grade 1. Heer smiled and took. She looked up and noticed it was Prem. Heer gave a slight smile.

Heer – "Ummm … Thanks." Prem smiled and winked at her.

Prem – "NO Problem." He got up and walked away. Heer sitting their a little confused by his action. She got up and walked inside. Gaytari and Veera walked up to them. Preet and Prem told the servent to put their stuff into their room. Heer sat beside Veera as Prem sat next to gatari in the living room. Prem and Heer having a staring session.

Veera –"So PB did you guys have fun." Heer looked away from Prem. He smiled.

Prem – "Fun are you joking … this Heer ma'am over here wouldn't stop talking."
Heer's mouth fell open in shock.

Heer – "I didn't even say anything to you …. You were the one who didn't know how to follow instruction." Prem frowned.

Prem –"I would have followed instruction if you knew how to give them."

Heer – "Look … I am already tired don't give me head ache." Prem put his arm around gayatari.

Prem – "Ma dekha she is so mean." Heer's jaw dropped. Veera giggled at bit.

G3 – "Prem don't bother her … don't you know your manners." Prem took his arm off her shoulder. Heer laughed.

Heer – "Ya Mr.Juneja don't you know your manners." Prem gave her a fake smile.

Prem – "Ma … I am really disappointed in you… how do you know she has manners."

G3 – "Prem that's enough … you started this in the first place now say sorry." Heer smiled a wide smile and looked towards Prem.

Prem – "I have to go." He got up looking at Heer. He started to walk and went behind Heer and Veera's sofa. As he passed by he whispered sorry. Heer smiled and continued her talk with Veera. G3 on the other hand was smiling looking at Heer. Her thoughts " Kitnay payary hain dono … rab ki bani hoi jodi." Gaytari got up and went to the kitchen. Heer also got up and went to her room to freshen up.

2 Weeks Later….

It had been 2 weeks since Heer was staying in Juneja house. Heer and Prem both knew they were in love. Heer and Prem would argue and sometimes have cute moments like…. ( This is how Heer found out she loved Prem.)

3 Days ago …

Heer sitting in her room reading a book. Prem knocked on the door. Heer didn't look up.

Heer – "Come in."

Prem – "I didn't ask for permission." He said and sat on the chair in front of her bed. She looked up at Prem and put her book away.

Heer – "Can I help you with something." Prem smiled and let out a laugh.

Prem –"You and help me …. Ya never gonna happen." Heer got her pillow and Put it in her lap.

Heer – "Than why are you Here.? Prem smiled and moved his chair closer to her bed.

Prem –"I was bored."

Heer –"Oh!! … so you came to bug me to take away your boredom."

Prem – " Why are you always Mean to me… I told you so many times that I like the HEER that I talked to in your house." Heer smiled.

Heer – "Fine….i'll try my best to not be MEAN… I don't know if that's gonna be possible since the meanest person in the world is sitting right front of me." Prem gave her a slight smile.

Heer –" So what do you wana talk about… Heer wait you said you think you were In love with someone … who??" Prem smiled.

Prem –" I thought you would know." Heer looked confused totally forgetting what was gonna happen that night.

Heer – "No how am I suppose to know…. Tell me." Prem got up from the chair and put his hands in his pocket. He slowly walk to the side of the bed. Prem sat down and looked at Heer. Heer who remembered what was almost about to happened that night.

Prem – "Do you remember something." Heer blushed and nodded. Prem took out his hand form his pocket and moved her hair that was on her face. He kissed her cheek softly sending Heer to heaven. She was red as a cherry. Prem smiled and put a hand on her cheek.

Prem – "I think you know who I love and I am pretty sure I know how she feels….." He kissed her cheek again just a little away from her lip.

Prem –"Good night." He said and got up. Prem left the room. Heer on the other hand red as ever. The kiss had touched her heart. Heer layed on her bed thinking of what had just happened. Heer Maan Had Fallen In Love With Prem Juneja.

Present

Heer had never got to tell Prem her feelings … because the next day he went to London for a business trip with Lalit. Heer tried to call him many times but never got threw. Prem on the other hand couldn't focus on his work. Ever where he would look … the only thing he saw was Heer. Lalit was a bit confused by Prem's lack of Work. Prem everyday would wait for Heer's phone call everyday. Prem one day finally thought that Heer probably didn't feel the same.

It was Heer's Birthday today and everyone was getting ready for the party. Raj and Meher had also come. Meher was helping Preet with the decoration.

Preet – "Your sister is great … I mean we don't even know her and she is already family." Meher smiled at Preet.

Meher – "That's Di for you … When some one loves her its hard to survive without her … like me and my family." Preet looked at Meher.

Preet – "I know PB feel's the same." He whispered to him self. Meher acted as if she didn't hear it. But she was confused Who was PB and why couldn't he live without di. Meher and Preet finished up the decorations. Preet noticed Meher was really pretty and Meher thought Preet was really sweet. All the guests had arrived and Heer was disappointed to hear Lalit and Prem were coming in 3 days. Heer cut the cake and danced with her brothers. Everyone left late. Heer was chatting with Gayatari. Preet Raj and Meher were cracking jokes. Preet liked that way Meher Laughed and Meher laughed on all of Preet's jokes which Raj found a bit weird. Everyone ate dinner. Heer thanked Gaytari and Veera for the party. Nihaal and Raj were about to leave when they gave Heer her present. Raj gave Heer a $25.000 rupees and a brand new car. Heer thanked him and Gaytari loved the way Heer was attached to Her brother. Nihaal brought a hotel in Heer's name and told her that she was the owner. Heer totally shocked to hear that but happy too at least her brother trusted her to run a hotel.

All of them left around 12:00Am. Heer went upto her room tired and a little hurt. If prem loved her then why didn't he come today. She layed on her bed remembering the day he kissed her. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. She got up and opened it. It was Danny their servant.

Heer –"Ji kuch chaiya." He handed her a box. It was wrapped in a wrapping paper with hearts all over it.

Danny – "Ji ma'am ye hap kay liya aya hai." Heer smiled and thanked him. He left and Heer closed the door. She went up to her bed and looked at the Present. She truned it around and saw a ribbon on it. She looked a bit below and noticed a card shaped liked a heart. Now she knew who it was from. She opened the card.

Heer

I told you how I felt and I honestly don't expect you to feel the same way. Its okay if you don't … I don't mind. But I just want to actually tell you all the feelings I have for you….

Heer since the day I met you at the flower shop I haven't stopped thinking about you and I totally understand if that you want someone special in your life and I won't force you to fall in love with me. I felt exactly the same way when I came from Canada. I totally understand your feelings. The day I kissed you and you turned bright pink … I thought you felt the same but then I came to London and waited for you to call everyday but you never did so I now I guess I know you don't feel the same way. Heer I am so sorry if any of this makes you feel bad about your self … and I don't want you to like me just to make me feel better. I want you for my entire life and not just for a month or two. Anyways all I want to say to you is that

HEER I REALLY LOVE YOU and I promise that if you don't feel the same way. I promise we can go back to being the arguing two people we are.

By end of reading the letter Heer had tears rolling down her eyes. Now how was she going to express her feeling for Prem.

Precap – Heer is crying and Prem is trying to ask her why she is so sad and angry with him. Heer is really mad at him this time and doesn't even wana talk to him.

Heer – "Don't touch me Prem."

Prem – "Heer look … just tell me what happened."

Heer – "What happened …. Are you joking ….. I tell you what happened." She said and took Prem into her room.
