This shot was completely inspired while I was at work, but no I don't have a supply closet, I was dumping old newspaper in the big closet room thingy, and no there is no Prem who comes in there with me *sighs* Wish there was though! 😳 Anyways...I wrote this for someone special, who you can tell from the first line itself, but anyways Enjoy! 😃
"No Prem, mujhe tumse koi baat nahin karni," Madiha groaned as she slammed the phone down on the receiver.
"What's wrong?" Sanya called from the next desk. "All's not well in lovers' paradise?"
A glare from Maddz immediately shut Sanya up and she focused back to her desktop.
Prem and Madiha had been engaged for the past three months and everything had been just peachy. Except now things had changed. Maddz would constantly get pushed back in Prem's agenda because of work or other priorities. Last night had been the final straw for her. She had been waiting at the restaurant where they were supposed to have dinner together for over an hour until he had the decency to call and tell her he wouldn't be able to make it. She couldn't handle being second best anymore. Even she had a job but she didn't always put their relationship on the back burner.
"Something wrong?" Sanya stood over Madiha's desk. "I'm serious this time. You've been acting weird for quite some time now."
"Why thank you for noticing." Maddz rolled her eyes. "What would we do without your observation skills."
"If you don't wanna talk, fine. No need to be so feisty with ME!" Sanya frowned before stomping off to her desk.
Maddz sighed before going over to Sanya's desk. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been rude."
Sanya laughed. "It's fine. What's up though?"
"Prem. Is. Horrible." Maddz narrowed her eyes at Sanya.
Sanya faked a look of shock. "Amazing Prem is horrible now?"
"No you didn't!" Maddz glared at Sanya. "He is anything BUT! I don't even know how you can say that about him."
"Whoa, okay then. Calm down," Sanya gave her a confused look. "What'd he do?"
"Yes well he sucks." Maddz eased into the chair across Sanya. "Shall I start the complaints?"
"Please do," Sanya leaned back in her swivel chair and put her feet on the chair.
Maddz rattled off all the things about Prem that irked her while Sanya patiently nodded and agreed. "Thanks for listening."
"Oh shut up," Sanya laughed. "It was nice knowing that perfect Prem has some defects as well," she grinned.
"He's got plenty more," Maddz stands up from the chair. "Anyways I better get back to work." She gave a dramatic sigh before returning to her desk, unaware of Sanya picking up the phone almost instantly.

"Do you have a stapler Maddz?" Sanya called from over the barrier.
"Umm, lemme check." Maddz quickly opened her drawers and replied back. "Nope, sorry Sanya."
"Can you go get one from the supply closet?" Sanya begged. "I have to get this report together and I'm not done yet,"
"Sure," Maddz smiled. "I'll be right back."
That's what you think, Sanya giggled to herself as she watched Maddz rush down the hallway.
Sanya quickly got up from her desk and went to the waiting room on their floor and grinned when she saw someone standing against the window with his back towards her. "Uhem," she cleared her throat to catch his attention.
He slowly turned around and Sanya found herself getting jealous of Maddz for the 100th time. "Hey Prem,"
"Hi Sanya." He greeted her softly.
"She's already in the supply closet Prem." Sanya told him.
"Thank you, for doing this."
"My pleasure. Now go! Before she rushes out, you know how she's like a tornado!" Sanya giggled as she directed Prem in the right direction.
"Yes, that I do know," Prem grinned before opening the large closet's door.
Maddz immediately turned around and froze when she saw who had entered the closet behind her. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Nice to see you too," Prem greeted her, keeping one hand on the handle.
"Prem, I already told you on the phone, I didn't want to talk to you. Why are you here?" She crossed her arms.
"You can push everyone away as much as you'd like Maddz; I'm the only one that's going to come running back each time,"
"That's because you know no one else will marry you if I don't," Maddz replied with a smirk.
"Oh really?" Prem taunted. "I'm sure they're tons right here in your office. Let's go ask them shall we?" Prem grinned.
"You wouldn't dare," Maddz picked up a bigger stapler and stepped towards him.
"Why? What does it matter to you?" Prem shrugged.
"You're right. It doesn't matter," Maddz grinned. "How did you know I was here anyways?"
"Sanya," Prem told her.
"That little sneak." Maddz narrowed her eyes towards the door.
"She's also the one that told me to get my butt over here right now. Course she is YOUR friend so she used some MUCH harsher words,"
An involuntary smile came onto Maddz face as she reflected on what Sanya must've said to get Prem here in the middle of a busy week day.
"Why'd you come?" Maddz sighed. "You could've said no."
"I don't want you to be upset with me," Prem slowly reached out and took Maddz' left hand in his.
Maddz' burst out laughing. "You really thought I was angry?"
Prem gave her a confused look before shaking his head. "Were you not?"
Maddz rolled her eyes. "Yeah I was upset—but not something I'd actually get angry at you for!" She grinned before placing both her palms on his cheeks. "You're adorable you know that,"
He shrugged before running a hand through his hair. "I try,"
Maddz shook her head before going towards the door. "Can we leave? I don't want them all to get the wrong idea."
"What kinda wrong idea?" Prem wiggled his eyebrows before locking her in the corner with both his hands on either side.
"This kinda idea," Maddz glared at him.
"You know you're tempted," He whispered before inching his mouth down towards the pulse point on her neck.
"Prem..." Maddz whispered.
"Yes?" He replied before pressing his lips against the throbbing pulse point.
Maddz shivered before pushing him away slowly. "Enough. I have work. So should you,"
Prem shook his head casually.
"Why are you shaking your head?"
"I don't have work. I took three weeks off."
"Wha—WHAT?" Maddz almost screamed.
Prem nodded. "Three. Weeks. Off."
Maddz glared. "For what?"
Prem shrugged. "To spend time with you," He smiled before kissing her cheek.
Without letting her say another word he opened the door to the closet and stepped out into the hallway.
"Thanks Sanya," He winked at her sitting at her desk before waving and disappearing into the elevator.
Sanya stood up and watched as Maddz stepped out of the closet with a frown. "What's wrong? You don't look so happy."
"Me? I'm...happy. I'm good...I'm almost ecstatic you could say,"
"Your face gives another impression," Sanya commented.
"Yeah well—it does that whenever something really unexpected happens,"
"Like?"
"Prem taking three WHOLE weeks off." Maddz sighed before collapsing on her chair.
"Whoa! The guy really does love you,"
"You doubted it?" Maddz grinned, finally breaking out of her trance.
"No—I just doubted the extent of it," Sanya grinned.
Maddz smiled while Sanya disappeared back to her desk. Prem did love her more than anyone else. Even more than she ever imagined someone could love her but all she knew was that she was extremely happy with him and that was what counted.
So yes! That was the one shot! 😃 I already know Maddz liked it, but I hope the rest of you liked it as well! 😃
Love,
Meera😳
