Part- 4

The following day Meher was coming out of the college with her friends................

"Yaar aaj kitna tiring day tha.......", said Meher

Riya: "Haan yaar voh Law ke proffesor ne paka diya"

Alisha: "Sahi mein yaar"

Vrinda: "Mere toh sabh kuchh sir ke upar se nikal gaya"

They were busy chatting and blabbering when Meher again felt as if she was being watched............She turned around cautiously to find him staring at her, leaning against a car.........

Scared out of her wits she asked her friends to hurry up, who got confused by her strange behavior................

This continued for days, everyday she would try to avoid him and his eyes, but failed miserably....There was something about his eyes that she could never forget them.........

Chaitanya: Hi Meher

"Hi", said Meher hesitantly

"Kya main yaha baith sakta hun", he asked pointing towards an empty seat beside her...

"Ji"

"Voh actually mujhe tumse kuchh puchna tha"

"Ji kahiye"

"Kya tum mujhe law pada sakti ho, voh actually mujhe agency bilkul samajh nahi aaya"

"U-uhh th-theek hai....hum library mein padh sakte hai"

"Library mein nahin......."

"Kyun??", she asked suspiciously

"Voh actually tum toh janti ho meri reputation kaisi hai, main library mein jaunga toh jaise breaking news banjaygi"

"Voh toh hai", she said slightly laughing

"Kya tum mujhe Lavazza Cafe mein padha sakti ho"

"Theek hai"

Meher was walking out of the college when she found Chaitanya being beaten up by him........Unable to stand this nonsense she went up to him...

"Yeh-yeh kya kar rahe hai aap"

He continued beating him ignoring her...............

"Maine kaha chhodo usse", she said holding his arm preventing him to beat Chaitanya any further.........

"Kyun maar rahe ho isse???"

"Dekho tum-tum beech mein mat pado", he said trying to keep his calm

"Kyun kyun na bolun.....Aap samajhte kya hai apne aap ko..........Jab chaha kisi ke saath bhi kuchh bhi karenge??"

"Tum janti bhi ho isne kya kiya hai"

"Nahi par itna janti hun ke isne aisa kuchh nahi kiya jiski wajeh se aap isse iss tarah se maare"

Saying this she went upto Chaitanya, helping him get up........

"Aap ko toh bahut chot lagi hai, humein doctor ke paas chalna chahiye", saying this she walked him to the nearby clinic, leaving a fuming Preet behind her..................

She was walking alone on the road, when she heard a bike following her.............She was walking at very slow pace and she found it strange that the bike wasn't overtaking her..........Suspicious she turned around to find none other than Preet, smoking his cigarrete and riding at a speed of about 10 km/hr..............Frusterated by this she gathered some courage and she walked upto him and said:

"Aap mera peechha kyun kar rahe hai"

No answer

"Are u deaf??"

Still no answer...............

Before she could say anything else he turned towards right she then realized that they had reached the college!!!!

"Kitna ajeeb hai", she said to herself.............

"Yaha kitna loud music hai", said Meher irritadely

"Dj night hai toh music toh hoga hi na", said Riya sarcastically

"Very funny"

"Meher dekh na kaise ghur ghur ke tujhe dekh raha hai", said Alisha

"Kaun", she said

"Voh", she said pointing towards Preet who was standing at the other end of the hall........

"Haye kitna hot hai yaar", added Vrinda

"Please guys whats wrong with you.....tum log yahi raho main.........main kuchh peene ke liye le kar aati hun", she said trying to avoid the topic.....

At the drinks stall.........

She found Vicky and Raj standing at one corner(In case you guys have forgotten they are Preet's friends who followed her the other night).............She turned back to avoid them.....

"Hey Meher", called Vicky

She stopped but didnot dare to turn back towards them....

"Uss din ke liye sorry", he added...........

Without responding to him she went towards her friends.........

"And by the way Preet Juneja fancies you", she heard him say behind her.......
