I know everyone's tired of all my depressing one shots, but after Usher sang this song at Micheal Jackson's memorial I went and found the awesome lyrics and yeah I was going to write it for Premeer, but I think it suits Meet a bit more so here it is! 😳
She was gone, she had just picked up her bags and left and Preet didn't even know why.
Like A Comet
Blazing 'Cross The Evening Sky
Gone Too Soon
It had been a week since the one bright thing he had in his life had left him. She was the only one who was with him after nearly everything had gone wrong that horrible time that Prem was supposedly gone.
But now things changed. Sure his brother was back but along with that so was Ashlesha.
Someone Preet thought it was impossible to forget. She was his first love wasn't she?
Then Meher's face would flash in front of his eyes and everything would change. He'd feel at ease. She could give him a small smile and he felt his pain evaporating.
Like A Rainbow
Fading In The Twinkling Of An Eye
Gone Too Soon
Love was something special, Preet mused. But now he had lost it because of a stupid misunderstanding.
"Preet yahaan aao na?" He was going up the stairs when Ashlesha's voice stopped him.
He went in search of the voice and saw her sitting in the corner of her room with a knife at her wrist.
"Ash! Ash what are you doing?" Preet ran into her room frantically. "Give me the knife,"
Ashlesha smiled up at him. "Nahin Preet," She shook her head. "You love Meher now. Mera kya kaam hain tumhari zindagi mein?"
Preet sighed. Was she really going to do this out of self pity?
Preet sank down to his knees. "Ash please, don't do this." He tried taking the knife from her. "Don't ruin your life for me,"
"I'm not—Meher already ruined my life. You don't love me now."
Preet didn't know how else to convince and so he said words he never thought he would in his life. "I do love you Ash. Always have and always will,"
He heard a bang at the door and saw Meher's purse on the floor and knew that she must've been there.
He tried moving away from Ash to find Meher but Ashlesha's grip tightened.
"Tum mujhe chor ke nahin jaa sakhte. Phirse tum aisa nahin kar sakhte!" She yelped.
"Mujhe Meher ke paas jaana hoga," Preet released his arm from her. "She's my wife."
"Meher that witch! She's always coming in between us! Chudail! That's what she is!"
"Bas Ashlesha!" Preet raised his hand and didn't even realize when it made contact with Ashlesha's cheek as he left to find Meher.
Shiny And Sparkly
And Splendidly Bright
Here One Day
Gone One Night
She left him that night.
He knew she must've heard everything and that scared him.
He had grown to love Meher she had been with him through all the moments when she needed him and now she was gone.
Like The Loss Of Sunlight
On A Cloudy Afternoon
Gone Too Soon
Her brightness faded from his life; and he missed the warmth she gave him.
He missed teasing her.
He missed making her smile.
He missed her ability to make him smile.
Like A Castle
Built Upon A Sandy Beach
Gone Too Soon
She had come into his life like a wave. She always appealed to him in her own little cute way; at the point he never imagined that he'd end up marrying her for the sake of his family. Or even falling in love with her for the sake of his own life. She was the only one who managed to make him feel alive when everything else seemed to go wrong.

That Is Just Beyond Your Reach
Gone Too Soon
He sat down on their swing. He liked calling it their swing since it was where they had their heart-to-heart talks.
It was even the place that he realized he had fallen in love with her. She had walked away after another talk and he had felt his heart tug after her. He wanted her to stay and so he wished for her to turn and when she had, his heart had leapt with happiness.

Gone Too Soon
Now he sat here all alone wishing she was there with him. Deep down in his heart he knew she was probably wishing for the same thing. Her reaction to his being with Ash had reassured him of a question he had in his heart for many days.
Did Meher actually feel the same way about him as he did about her? He knew that was the only reason she had taken such a drastic step. Yet now it didn't even matter. She had left his life and every time he had tried to ask Heer Bhabhi she had claimed she didn't know anything.
That was one thing about Heer Bhabhi that he didn't like. Meher had always gone with Heer whenever Heer had left the house and now; Heer couldn't do the same thing for her little sister. He decided then that despite whatever would happen. He'd find his wife again.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
It had been four days since he left the house and was wandering around. He had visited every single one of her friends but no one knew anything. Finally he had another thought and so he went to the rocks by the ocean and he saw a girl sitting there with her dupatta swaying in the wind.
Without even seeing her face he knew it was Meher. The only problem now was trying to find a way to talk to her before she spurned him away.
He walked towards her and that's when he heard someone shout out for him.
"PREET!"
His legs went out from under him as he collided with the car on the street. He turned and saw that he wasn't at the beach. Meher wasn't near him. He was on the street and was walking aimlessly; lost in his dream when a car hit him.
He fell to the ground and his eyes fluttered as he saw Meher's face flash in front of him looking concerned.
"What did you do?" He heard her voice ask.
"Meh—Meher?"
Her eyes were flowing with tears as she pulled his head into her lap. "Someone call an ambulance!"
"Meher—mujhe," He gasped for air.
"Please Preet, don't strain yourself." Meher said wiping his face with her dupatta.
"Mujhe kehne do. I love you Meher, always have and always will." He gasped. "I know you think I said it to Ashlesha, but," He gasped again. "That was just to stop her from using the knife on herself."
Meher's tears overflowed from her as she took in his words.
"I'm sor—"
His sentence was left incomplete as his eyes shut right there on the street.
Meher couldn't believe the sight in front of her. This had to be another stupid prank he was pulling on her.
"Preet! Utho! It's really not funny," She tried shaking his shoulders but got nothing back from him.
The faint sound of an ambulance in the distance was heard by Meher but nothing mattered now.
Her husband was gone because of her stupid mistake and this was something she could never forget.
She had killed her husband by not understanding his real intentions.
And now he was gone...
Gone Too Soon
So how was it? 😳 I don't really know if I wanted to kill him at the end but it just seemed to work with the shot....😳
Love you,
Meera😳
