I was going to suggest the same thing. Although Krystle has quit the show as she didn't feel the character had much else to offer, perhaps they could find another actress who isn't too bothered about having little to do in the show, to take her place as Veera.
Obviously, this would make the whole Premeer back on track thing a little easier (post leap naturally), but it would also mean that Nihaal doesn't have to suffer anymore than he already is.
I think it's cruel the amount of crap their dishing out to Nihaal. It's been going on for months. And it's even more distressing when you think about the fact that Nihaal loved Veera right form the beginning, inspite of her meanness towards him. And then as if to have suffered at her hands like that wasn't enough, just as she reciprocates his love.....they kill her off!!!!
Nihaal deserves his chance at happiness. And though I fail to understand his love for a person like Veera, Veera was his love and therefore his happiness.
