Anyone who has seen me around IF before will know that I have a litle penchant for composing ditties and parodying songs and poems. And so, this suddenly popped into my head last night. I thought I'd share it with you and provide some light relief.
It should be sung to the tune of I Dreamed a Dream, from Les Miserable. I dreamed a dream in times gone by,
When hopes were high and Kis Desh worth watching.
I dreamed that Premeer would never die.
I dreamed BT would be forgiving.
Then I was stupid and unafraid,
When plots were made and used and wasted.
There would be a ransom to be paid.
But for now there was joy to be tasted.
Then Ekta came along,
With her black clouds and her thunder.
And she tore my hopes apart
And she turned my dreams to sha-a-a-a-a-a-a-ame!
I spent a summer loving MeeT,
Who gave me such wondrous pleasure.
I believed in their chemistry.
I thought that I had found a treasure.
And still I dreamt it would be OK,
And things would turn out for the better.
But then she smacked us with a leap,
And now the death of Preet - I hate her!
I had a dream this time it would be,
So different the from this crap I'm watching.
So different now, to what it had been.
But now Ekta's killed the dream I dreamed.
