Nonee, this one is for you! Wanted to cheer your mood up, and keep in mind my suggestion! If you need more, let me know. ππ
Enjoy!
Wheeling the trolley out of the arrival hall, Nonee scanned the area for her brother. She muttered darkly under her breath as she realised he had not arrived. She should have known he would be late, he always was.
"Stupid Adi," she spat out, not caring about the looks she was getting for talking to herself. "He's probably swooning over his stupid car."
"Nonee," her friend placed a hand on her shoulder. "Would you relax? I'm sure there's a reason your brother isn't here yet."
Nonee looked at Bhavna with something akin to pity on her face. "You'll learn Bhav, as I have, that there's nothing more important to that idiot brother of mine than his stupid car." She made a face and apologised to her best friend for dragging her back to Germany with her. "If I had known," she paused. "No, that's not right, I had known, but I'd thought," she amended. "that because he knew I was bringing guests, he'd at least come on time!"
Aradhna rolled her eyes slightly. "Dude, would you just chill? You can yell at him all you like later, when he's busy drooling over Bhav, kay?"
Nonee could not help but chuckle at Bhav's outraged squeal. She protested slightly as Radz ducked behind her and Bhav's hand landed on her shoulder instead of Radz'.
"Let me call Adi again," Nonee pulled her cell out of her pocket and dialled. "Adi, where the hell are you?" she demanded furiously. Radz and Bhav exchanged amused glances as Nonee quickly got into a furious argument with her brother over the phone. Bhav sighed as she heard Nonee yell at her brother for forgetting that they were coming. She turned to her other friend.
"So what do we do?"
Radz pondered for a bit before brightening. "Ohmygod!" She hit her head with one hand. She paused and pouted, rubbing the spot a bit with a distracted "Ow."
"Radz," Bhav poked her.
"Oh, right." Radz grinned sheepishly. "Preet's in Germany," she told her friend.
"Preet?" Bhav asked, before her face cleared. "Oh, you mean one of your many cousins from all over the world?"
Radz chuckled and shook her head. "Nope. He's not related to me in any way. Thank God," she smirked slightly. "He's Meera Di's devar."
"Oh, Prem Jiju's brother? That Preet?" Bhav bounced slightly on the balls of her feet, eyes sparkling. "The one whom," she gestured at Nonee.
Radz nodded, beginning to get excited as well. "Imagine. Our plan may actually fall into place," she squealed quietly.
Bhav did not reply as Nonee turned around furiously and stalked towards her friends.
"We are not waiting for that idiot," she fumed, hands on her hips.
"I can call a friend," Radz piped up before Nonee could go into a rant. "I forgot he'd come here for work."
Nonee frowned slightly, but nodded.
Ten minutes later, Bhav spotted a tall figure making his way towards them and pointed him out to Radz. Radz abandoned her trolley and raced towards the man, hugging him enthusiastically before practically dragging him to where her amused friends stood.
Nonee's mouth fell open as she laid eyes on the hunk who held Radz' hand. She almost missed Radz' introduction, though, thankfully, she missed the look Bhav and Radz shared as she introduced Nonee to Preet. Radz pushed him towards Nonee, ordering him to take the trolley from her.
"Tumhe bas mujhse kaam karvana hai," Preet complained to his friend, but smiled down at the cute girl at his side.
"Obviously," Radz replied cheekily, before winking at him. He coloured slightly, knowing that Radz had pegged him down well enough to match make him with Nonee. He only hoped she would be interested. God knew he already was.
N, try not to die, there are two more parts. π Love you!
Do let me know what you think.
Love,
Radz
