hai everyone
seeing the mood and confusion of some members in the EDT i though of posting this topic. if it helps u fine if its boring just ignore it. Again sorry for relating Prem and KDMHD to epics but i think it is necessary.
ok why is the change in prems behaviour in the past week(some members feel) totally unpremish.
we have seen that Prem and the track till now has been always related to Ram and Ramayan.
Who was Ram, a perfect gentlemen, a devoted son and brother, a complete family man, and a lovable husband to fought Ravan to save Sita at the same time the most selfless human who gaveup everything for the sake of his family even his wife Sita for sake of his kingdom.
These were the traits we found in Prem for the past one yr. but Prem cannot be related to Ram completely. There were incidents were Prem cannot be related to Ram. For instances like 18th june prem, when he went against his father to save heer, Prem faking as GS, when he did not trust heer and even slapped her.
Now its clear and evident that the future track is going have some faces of Mahabharat bc the enemies r within the family. So the hero here is Krishna, So Ram to going to act as Krishna.
What is the basic character of Krishna, he is very romantic, a big flirt and a is very naughty.
These were the qualities that we got to see in prem in the last couple of episodes, we saw prem romancing heer, flirting with her, teasing her by saying she the boss and he being the employee, the prank(which did no go well with many member) was to emphasis tht he is naughty. These changes is just to tell to the viewers that the always serious, soft and subtle prem can be naughty, romantic and a bit hyper too(umpremish as some quote). This does not mean that Prem would be running after girls or end up marrying may women. We are not going to see a Mahabharat with 5 pandavas fighting 100 kauravas. We are just going to see some shades of the charactes of Mahabharat in some of the charecters here. Yesterday by showing Heer dealing business emotionally, they dont intend to make her superwoman, but the fact that her way of handling business is not good or should i say that she is not fit to do business and is going to land up in trouble.
The need to bring this change.
In the past we saw Prem solving thing in rather straight fowards method, the way he shouted at DJ chachi, the way he handled Mameet and Rishab. But now i think they would show him doing it more diplomatically. He may not play the game straight as he did in the past especially when the enemy is going to be his sister and br wife.
For instance a brother who loved, pampered and tolerated his sister to the core and never questioned her irritating behaviour may deal her differenly in futture especially if she ends up hurting heer. If they show Prem dealing things in a different manner without showing some change in his behaviour or body language, it might become difficult for the audience to relate with him. They have to show that prems bondage with heer is much more stronger than his relationship with veera, show that Prem views things much more rationally and not as an emotional Prem of the past.
all that i wish to say that dont get upset with the change in prems behaviour bc this is just a temprorary thing and we will have our Prem remain The Prem so just enjoy the show. I seriously feel that the future tack would be interesting because we will get to see a much more happy and fun loving Prem and a very supportive husband that we rarely got to see in the past.
