whose fault is it? creatives or us?

I would like to know as to who is at fault here? We the audience, who believe that KDM is a story about eternal love, a love story that has no boundaries and limits, a pair that was born for each other, a pair though two bodies is one soul, a pair that overcame every obstacle and challenge to be together? Or you the creatives who, it seems like, believe that this is a story about an ordinary couple in love who can be easily separated over trivial issues such as misunderstandings, ego and kitchen politics. I am sure that many will agree with me when I say that the foundation, the theme of the story has been that Prem-Heer are one no matter what, who, how? They are one in soul and thought. But since the past few days all that we are seeing is an ordinary married couple who couldn't even withstand a small family misunderstanding leading to them being apart. A couple, who at the very first instance, gave up on their relationship! A couple who even refuse to talk to each other till someone forced them to! A couple who had to be brought together by a third party! Making me wonder as to who is getting it wrong here. We the audience who were led to believe that here is a couple who are beyond everything when it comes to their love or you, the creatives, who, in order to create drama are reducing the eternal love story to a saas bahu saga.

In case you don't know who your protagnists are, let me help you understand them. Prem and Heer are NO ORDINARY COUPLE. They share an invisible bond. A bond which they felt even when they were miles apart. A bond that made Prem risk his life to save his love. A bond that made Prem leave his family for his love. A bond that led to Heer almost sacrificing herself to fulfill his promise. A bond that had Heer tarnishing her reputation so that her love is unharmed. They are so insync with each other that they don't even need words to communicate.

Now they are married. A marriage strengths the bond between two people. Even among an ordinary couple a marriage is a strong bond and this is Prem and Heer we are talking about. They are beyond ordinary. You show them consummate their relationship and within hours they are torn apart because of stupid misunderstandings! That doesn't happen even among ordinary people. The foundation of this couple's love has always been their intense understanding of each others thoughts and feelings. And then you go on to show that this foundation can be rocked by some pathetic misunderstanding - and this I feel is exactly what goes against the theme of your show.

This is what I understand after watching the show for nearly 15 months!!
Here is a couple who were made for each other. who travelled great distances and overcame huge obstacles to be together. The only thing that could have kept them apart was death. And you showed that they even overcame that. And then you go on to show that this bond is so weak that at the first hint of trouble the lovers separate??? And from whatever I assume you're going to show ego problems entering into this relationship?? Is that all you can come up with?

This is how i would love to see the story develop - if you can show it?
1) irrespective of what problems come their way, the two should face them as one entity.
2) agreed, it's a daily and needs to have twists and turns, and we have no hassle with it. But not at the cost of ruining the oneness of the lead pair.
3) show how their love is progressing with more scenes of tenderness between them, rather than just the looks across the room. That worked when they were courting, surely it needs to move on from there.
4) Show their relationship as husband and wife. We have seen them as lovers, sisters, brothers, in-laws - show something deeper now, come on.


Things we don't want to see
1) them saying 'i love you' to each other - how pathetic is that??? They or we don't need those words from them. They and we both know it.
2) Ego problems - there is no place for ego in their oneness
3) issues like mother in law, sister in law, kids break their oneness.
4) Oneupmanship will never work in this relationship - so don't even bother trying

The story was, is and will always be about them being one - and please stick to it.

Oh and we also don't wan to see Heer as a super woman. heer has always needed Prem by her side... she has always looked up for him! Heer is nothing without Prem just as prem is nothing without her! Don't tur her into a business woman please... let the little innocence she has left remain please!!!

@soaps. Rightly said - we don't absolutely don't want this to turn into another kyunki, kahani, kasturi and other bt soaps (we've watched them long enough). That is also what I meant by oneupmanship, will never work in this particular relationship.

JAMANA CHANGE HO CHUKA HAI ,we ,the audience dont like to see same old bt crap ,dont want superwoman like prerna ,tulsi ,parvati ,dont like male leads like mihir ,om ,anurag , so DONT turn heer into superwoman & prem into weak & wrong & maa ki dupatte mein bandha hua male lead ,MAKE BEST USE THE GREAT CHEMISTRY OF HC-AG ,make the leads unite & together & show POSITIVE progress of PREEMER LOVE & POSITIVENESS ,kyuki generation & jamana totally changed & only WE like POSITIVE SHOWS ,actually galti hamari hai ,hum hamesha iss fear mein rehte hai ,ki issbar kuch bad na ho jaye & our fear gives creatives negative ideas .
JITNA DIMAAG APPLOG LEADS KO SEPARATE KARNE MEIN USE KARTE HAI ,UTNA AGAAR POSITIVENESS & TOGETHERNESS DEKHANE MEIN USE KARTE TOH AB TAK YEH SHOW NO.1 REHTA & kitna BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY HOTA .

I guess in the end it is our fault that we love premeer so much that we don't give up... if we stop watching the show it will close down in no time... but we are helpless ... we don't give up on Premeer ... so it is indeed our fault
