So Meher is like a mini Rani from TPTM to me! 😃😳 Thankgod Preet isn't as saru as Saifu was though! 😆 I loved the way that she answered the phone call and then he waited.....and waited.....and waited some more!😳 Thought that was really cute..
Finally saw that movie! Whee! Now I've got more ideas on Meher's character! 😃

This is weird. I was...um...Taylor Lautner can drive, and somehow that reminded me that I have to update RNBDJ. It's weird, isn't it? It should be completely illegal for a seventeen-year-old to be that smokin' hot. I mean, he made my laptop screen sizzle when he came on in the New Moon trailer!...And I am going to stop gushing over Taylor Lautner (seriously, Shabz, make even the tiniest comment on that and I will haunt you.) and post the next part! 😃😳

Part Two

As she locked her car, Ashlesha Maan rummaged around her bag, wondering why she could never find her employee pass. She always tucked it into the back pocket, but somehow it would always manage to fall out and lose itself in the organized mess that was her bag.

Sighing, she decided she needed a smaller bag.

Luckily for her, she somehow always managed to find her pass just as she reached the building. She smiled triumphantly as she flashed the guard her pass and he opened the door to let her in, trying not to roll his eyes and biting back a snide comment.

Now that the first ordeal of the day was over, Ash strode confidently to the elevator, tapping a foot clad in dark brown Salvatore Ferragamos impatiently as she waited for it to arrive. As she waited, she checked her reflection in the silver elevator doors. As usual, Ash loved what she saw: she was tall and slim, her figure the envy of many of her colleagues; not a strand of her long black hair was out of place; and as usual, she looked polished in her sleeveless black button-down shirt and her cream-coloured pants, topping off the entire look with dark brown Ferragamo pumps.

The elevator doors opened, breaking into her reverie. Ash's red lips curled briefly into a pout, before she recovered herself and smiled at the man coming out of the elevator. As she went inside, she felt his eyes on her, and she turned, winking at him. The elevator doors closed.

Ash grinned. She leant back against the wall, crossing one ankle around the other, the epitome of confidence and ease.

Meher frowned, desperately trying to organize Preet's meetings. Which was hard to do, considering Preet had dumped a stack of Post-Its and bits of paper in front of her. Someone needed to get the man an organizer.

As she sorted through the bits of paper, trying to filter out those pertaining to the immediate week, a woman strolled briskly past her and headed for Preet's office.

Meher jumped up. "Good morning, Ma'am! Can I help you?" she asked quickly.

Ash paused, her hand on the doorknob, and turned to see who had spoken to her. She raised an eyebrow, studying the girl standing at the desk that she had never noticed before.

The girl looked so typically Indian, in a churidaar kurta ensemble that she personally didn't fancy too much, yet it appeared to suit her. The pink colour gave her a rosy, almost ethereal glow.

Ash raised an eyebrow. "Tum kaun ho?" she asked. Ash was Preet's second-in-command, and no one talked to her like that. Except for Preet. Not that she liked it.

"Ji, main Meher hoon. Preet Sir ki nayi secreh…seccuh…" she frowned, looking extremely distressed.

Ash stared at her. "Secretary?"

The girl's face lit up. "Secretary! Ji! I have to remember that word," she muttered to herself. Then she remembered that Ash was there, and she looked up at her again. "Main Preet Sir ki nayi secretary hoon. Aur…aap?" she asked cautiously.

Ash shifted her weight to her right foot, placing a hand on her hip. "Ashlesha Maan, aur tum mera time waste kar rahi ho."

The girl – Meher, she corrected herself – stared at Ash, then her eyes widened. "Ashlesha! I've heard a lot about you, Ma'am!"

Ash studied Meher, smiling slowly. She was starting to like this girl. "Good things, I hope?"

Meher grinned. "Very good, Ma'am. Aap bas ek minute yahaan ruko, main Preet Sir ko batati hoon ki aap unse milna chahti hain."

Ash nodded, agreeing, then seated herself at Meher's table as Meher knocked on the door to Preet's office. A moment later she emerged, holding the door open for Ash to pass. She beamed at Ash.

As the door closed behind Ash, Meher settled down on her chair. Organizing Preet's meetings lay forgotten as she wondered how she was going to bring Preet and Ashlesha together. Without Ashlesha falling for someone else.

She sighed, wishing that Cupids really did have those arrows that made people fall in love with each other. That would have made things so much easier. But the God and Goddess of Love were never one to make things easy, which left Meher wondering how she was going to bring Preet and Ashlesha together without Ashlesha falling for someone else.

The telephone rang, and Meher shrieked, covering her ears, startled by the sound. Heads turned to her curiously as she lowered her hands, smiling sheepishly, then answered the phone. "Good morning, Preet Juneja's office."

Awesome update Bhav! Me loved it. Of course it's 8 am for me and I'm a bit tired and not used to waking up this early and will probably have to re-read the update but that's not important 😆 Love Ash's appearance and Meher should definately try remembering that word 😆
