You know rakshoo I can totally understand why they had to hold it outside India. At the end of the day, it is security that matters and post 26/11 I dont think the government will want to take any risk where security of people is concerned. They couldnt postpone elections, they couldnt postpone IPL so you have to compromise somewhere.... I saw the carnival before IPL Carnival and I couldnt quite express the enthusiasm and excitement....
Only cricket can wean me away from kis desh since its such a passion, and in a cricket feenzy country like India, Life for the next 40 days will not be the same again...Damn, I wish I was in south africa...
The hype isnt there that much as it was there last time , I didnt follow IPL so much last time as I was sooo addicted to kis desh but then kis desh is not what it was last year. there is a zameen asmaan ka farak between this year and last year....and sadly there is nothing binding me to the show any more. Even Preet & Prem are not able to hold me on to the show. For the last two days, I have been watching the show in mute and when I do out the volume on, I fall asleep.... thats how interesting kis desh is to me these days.
I have had enough of seeing separation, bichadna, mother in law - daughter in law fights, sons being caught in a predicament between a mother and a wife. I have seen enough of it on television and I dont want to see it any more. Its depressing me and I need to take it with a pinch of salt - for my own sanity. I dont relate to the show any more. They have ruined gay3 ma for me and I dont want to wait for the day, when they ruin Premeer and they are headed in that direction.
