Mushkil dekhe hai Juneja parivaar,
Waqt ne le aayi khushiyon ki bahaar,
Inn lamhe ko haseen banane ke liye,
Saath diye hai humari Jodi hasaane liye.
(god) Preet's smiles have been abundant,
Even as his PB and HB worry and fret.
The happiness of the family is evident,
(goddess) Meher is seeing that their hearts have met.
Teasing his wife brings a cheeky smile,
As she makes a face in despair.
Our hearts feel all the much lighter,
As relationships begin to repair.
Joy do the divine pair bring,
As slow as may be their love story's pace.
And chuckles filled the air,
When (god) Preet said he'd show his face.
A small smile is all it takes,
From the divine pair in all types of scenes.
(god) Preet and (goddess) Meher together,
Never fails to brighten up our TV screens.
So today we pray, hands folded,
For those smiles to light up our lives.
And pray for (god) Preet to hear us;
Prepare for kids with your wife!
Meet: The Highlights!
Our (good) Preet is a rather witty and pun-y and just all-'round funny guy, isn't he? Take for example his comment to Meher as she and Heer - interrupted - their cricket-watching time: "Muh dikhayi hai, toh hum muh dikhayenge na!" Had me rollin' off my couch, wiping away the tears of laughter.
And I think his reaction to Shrimp's dancing at the Muh Dikhayi rasam was positively hilarious: "Balle balle - Amritsar to LA"!.

"Balle balle - Amritsar to LA!"
Let's not forget that my, oh, my, he can dance! At the Muh Dikhayi, he was just hopping all over the place! (Well, in a manner very much different from Prem in his hoppiness days...) He had enthusiasm, grace and matched Kul Di's dancing! Although he's not exactly the world's best charades player -
(god) Preet dances like the wind!
Oh, and here's something that in my (not so expert!) opinion is so sweet: when Heer asked if Meher loves Preet, she blushed! Aww - One small step for Meher, one giant leap for Meet fans! While we're on that note, more blushing by both (god) Preet and Meher happened when Kulraaj dryly commented that they would be the next one to have kids. (For what it's worth, I totally agree! They so have to be the next couple to have kids! They HAVE to be!
Of course, the one thing that truly lit up the week (highLIGHTS, LIT up - geddit? Geddit? Okay never mind-) is, as usual, His Smileyness's smile! Also known as The Smile That Launched A Thousand Ships, (god) Preet's smile is the one thing that we all look forward to, and is the one thing that we're blessed with every week! Please take some time to admire The Smile That Launched A Thousand Ships.

(god) Preet and his PB

(god) Preet and his Harman Bhai, he brings a smile on everyone's face

The Smile That Launched a Thousand Ships!
And finally, our weekly Prasad! (Apart from the sugar cookies, that is - Those have been distributed to the poor already, and today there's also a container with cookies for the devotees near the exit. Please, do help yourselves!)

How cute are they?
I know it's not E's usual pujas, but I do hope you have prayed your fill. And I do hope we see you again next week!
Love,
Radz and Bhav
