This thread is a wonderful idea and is wonderfully, wonderfully written. Great work and a total pleasure to read and re-read. I am a very new member of this Forum and am totally, hopelessly, head-over-heels obsessed with Meet. Can I be a devotee of this Temple? My name is Nonee.

Hiya! Sure you can! But the temple is secretly located in the Vatican, and if they found out...well, the Pope wouldn't be the Pope no more. So you need a nickname! 😃

Hahaha Artemis is good! But you need approval from the Pope first. Which shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just bribe her with baked goods and she'll cave! 😆

Let the puja begin!

Firstly, there is no denying that we were blessed with a wonderful Meet scene on Wednesday. The love that they have for each other (when are they going to admit it?!) was brought out tenderly first by Meher trying to get Preet to eat. Bechara, who knows how long he hadn't eaten? But Preet refused, saying that he could not eat when the rest of the family hadn't eaten. And he walked off angrily, leaving a rather worried Meher behind.

Then we saw Meher in their room, terrified that Preet was going to hit her, the poor girl! But it was so sweet how he reassured her that he would never hit her, and then and then and then he said that he needed her to stand by him! Of course she agreed! But the point is, that scene was just the sweetest scene seen this week! (I love puns! 😆) The entire sequence, how he had to get her to stop crying and reassure her that he would never hit her and he needed her to be by his side. It made me hate myself for not watching the episode.

The relationships the two of them have with their families are amazing as well. The minute Preet thought that Nihaal had hurt Veera, he instantly switched to protective-brother-angry-young-man mode, which was actually very, very, VERY scary. (No wonder Meher was so frightened that he would hit her!) And on the other side of the door was Meher, knowing full well that Nihaal would never do anything like that.

Friday's episode took the cake though. (Oooh, cake) Preet's dialogues blew my socks off. (Not that I was wearing socks) He tried desperately to inject some ounce of sense into Prem. He tried to get Prem to bring Heer back. He begged Prem to remember how he had fought against the world for Heer, how their love had overcome so many things, death included. He tried to tell Prem that Gayatri was wrong. But for Prem, his Maa was more important to him than Heer. (Prem was devastated by his choice, but this temple is not about Prem.)

And then we had a little Meet handoooh (we need a name for that. Ideas, anyone?) after Gayatri and Prem had left, with Meher reassuring Preet silently with her hand on his shoulder, and his hand over hers. Hai 😳 they are just too sweet.
