I don't know much about religions, but I think what they showed about Heer getting her Prem back at the end of Gurubani had a more powerful message than the things that they failed to show.... In my opinion, whether they covered their head or not doensn't matter, they have showed the true meaning of religion....That is everything else a part, as long as you have guruji in your heart, nothing else matters.... Sometimes people can be totally doing everything right, like covering their head, but, just don't have the right intentions and love for guruji, then those things are of waste.....I love that scene because, they showed what should have been shown, that is the true faith and for that I can over look everything else.

well said👏

thanks friends, I am glad some people agree with me... usually I get bashed for what I say because, I put humanity and love over any set of rules created by us for us..... Thanks it means a lot to me
Actually I love lord Krishna, and everytime I read Geeta or recite what it says,,,,only thing I find him saying is as long as your heart and intentions are pure, nothing will stop you from achieving or receiving love from god. It doesn't matter you are Hindu, muslim, sikh or anyother religion.....Keep your intentions pure and love others the way you want to be loved and after doing so even if you forget to do the petty things (like covering your head), you will not offend god, guruji or allah because, afterall he also looks at the bigger picture (Love for him in your heart)....

i noticed that too. Agree with the person above that they should be more careful when shooting these scenes. It really doesn't take that much background research either to know that sikhs are supposed to cover their head when receiting the gurbani, I think it is pretty common knowledge.

How can Ekta have her heroine Heer recite the Gurbani without covering her head. Isn't it respectable to cover their head when reciting anything from the Grantha Sahib?

i usually don't post here but today i couldn't resist after seeing this post!!
Why Do people always blame Ekta??! Ekta isn't there on the sets 24/7 watching when scenes are being filmed!! if you want to blame someone then Blame the director or the Actress who are actually doing those scenes !

True, true and ver well said BUT don't you feel that once your protraying a religion, you should show some respect to it? I mean yes its the heart that matters, that's what i believe in too, but this is television we're talking about. of course, realistically there aren't always scarfs lying around whenever you need to remember god. But to think of it, the rules of respect are there for a reason, and I don't see why Heer could not have covered her head when a choni was right there! 😕 *sigh, what i'm trying to say is, that TV has a lot of influence on people, young and old, and if even some small traditiion is broken, ex. not covering head, i get worried that a lot of others would soon come in line as well....okay i think i'm overreacting...lol😆 as usual, 'oh well', just wanted to share my views. *and sigh* I know i'm a pessimiste. 😆- blahblah. ps. I love how we're having a healthy discussion 😃 I'm liking this A LOT!!! yay!! positive 'kdmhmd'ians?'

You are right; she should have covered her head if that is the tradition. Certain religious sensitivies have to be observed if you are going to show it on televison (like mentioned by someone).
I just think that the last segment (where Gaurav's mom tells Prem the truth) and this scene was just bad direction. It seemed like a rushed job for a very important part of the serial - just to make sure that there was suspense about what premeer would say/do after the truth was revealed.
