Hi all, I read through all the messages & everyone has some very good valid points about this. Initially for a moment I got baffled as to grasp why will Heer need to forgive him because they r 1 & neither needed to ask for forgiveness or forgive each other before but after reading through I understood what all u meant & why I will come to that later.
I agree Heer has been through a lot & every moment she has suffered the loss of Prem & my heart is with her all the way. But if we go by the character of old Heer then she might not ask him & Prem himself will unveil everything he did & why he did & Heer will understand everything without a doubt or a word & would forgive him, infact the question of forgiving won't even arise, it never has before & so it never should now.
But the current Heer is a changed person from what we have been acquainted with so far & I won't be surprised at all if she did demand from him an explanation. I am bracing myself for that scenario as well. The previous Heer was a figment of Vikas Goopta & Garry Bhinder's imagination but now we have a new creative with bunch of new directors who have a different vision of Heer, so she will act differently too from what she would have done earlier.
All the time Prem didn't ask for any explanation from Heer, I agree with Raksha. Not only when she hid from him about her identity as Balraj's daughter or for the time when she concealed about Veera & RR from him, he never asked or said anything to her. He started with he was mad with himself for she didn't trust him, she didn't think him worthy enough to believe he might believe her over Veera. So it was a different couple altogether, almost surreal, much much different from any normal couple we know about. But now both have changed & so now the reaction for the unknown truth will differ as well.
But I will be surprised if Heer does demand an explanation from him, not because she isn't entitled to but it will be against the essence of her character or for the very concept Prem-Heer r 1. Which also brings me to a point which I have raised earlier as well in many other posts, if Prem & Heer r 1 then why can't she recognise her Prem when living in the same room? If they felt each other's presence & existence continents apart then how come she can't recognise her love living in the same room with her? She needed to go to RR of all people to find out the truth about her love? Why is there any doubt in her mind? How will the creatives justify this? If she is confused then obviously we mere audience will be confused as well! How can they prove & justify that if Prem is the heart then she is his heartbeat? Creatives have a lot cut out for themselves to mend this desperate twisted situation in the crossroad that they have brought us in!
And I also agree we r not thinking about Prem's side of the story. Definitely he has suffered too & that too all by himself, no one to confide or converse with. He must have gone through tremendous pain & misery to be away from his family & his Heer & we have to consider that as well. The way he said that to Heer 2 weeks back about the painful life where even the feel to experience pain dies because of the rocky & stormy life that she can't even fathom! So it must have been an unbearable agony & distress he has been through so as to make him so hard hearted, tough & carefree! And I want to know what happened to him to have made him so!
More than Heer its more like I want to know what has happened all this while. I want a valid good reason to see why & what & how Prem did what he did all this while. If Prem has to answer any1 its more for our benefit so that we can live in peace after being jerked around for months to no end. I want a justifiable reason & excuse so that I can put Prem back to that pedestal he belonged to, for my sake I want to see an untainted THE Prem with all the 'ness' intact in him. So the creatives better be prepared to face the wrath of the viewers like us if they fail to provide any valid reason for Prem or leave it at that just revealing its Prem & move on like they did recently, as if nothing ever happened!
So I think Prem will definitely answer all Heer's questions or the family's in order to give us the explanation & I will eagerly wait for it just to see if its all the worth for what we have been through for these last 3 months. Though I don't have too much hope that they will work to make him THE Prem like before because afterall its BT but still I will wait to see what possible reason do they come up with to justify all Prem's actions & reactions & intentions so far!
And its also a fact no matter what both their characters have been tainted than what it was before so expecting that old essence of Premeer with their characteristics intact will be an error on our part I guess! We will never get that Premeer with whom we fell in love with, sigh....but that is a fact!
