OK Z, I have to say, GHOSH, you make THE Prem sound like such a nerd as Ravz said😆. I was partially shocked because, I expected you to write this FF, but not in such a way that you would rather be afraid of Prem then love him😆 Partially cus I hate people who are too Studi-acious...but Prem makes the character...or shall I say you, make the character sound cute.😆 Yeah, I wanted to make him adorable geeky- not too overbearing and frightening 😆 I'm glad you liked it!! 😃

Sachi, Prem seems like a mama's boy when he said his mother knew about his tasts and detasts.😆 I loved writing that bit, I thought it would be so typical of a geek to love his mom immensely, especially since he is the only support she has, since his father left them!

Other then that, the part when Prem described how guys were attached to Heer...was just...>>🤣. That makes me wonder if Heer is the Queen bee?😆 Heer is definantly the queen bee!!

'Hi Shifali, Hi Asma' said Heer as she took a seat between them. She took out her mirror and began fixing her hair. Most of the boys wanted her, and most of the girls wanted to be her.

Meera stared at her in unbelief- 'How can someone be so vain?' she thought to herself, shaking her head gently. 'Ummm...Prem...Give me a word for someone self-centered, stuck-up and vain?' she asked.

'Narcissistic' he replied simply. Meera looked at him and laughed. 'I like it' she nodded in approval.

'Hello Heer' chimed Shifali and Asma, glad to be able to see their friend after so many days.

'Heer- where have you been?' asked Shifali, worried. 'You missed the last two classes!'

'Yeah we got really worried- you've been missing a lot of classes lately' added Asma.

Shifali had been Heer's friend since kindergarten- they had shared all their secrets, all their sorrows and all their happy moments. Yet, slowly, they were beginning to drift away. Heer became much more self-centered, always putting her needs before the needs of others. Her life began to revolve around popularity and having a high status in the college- it was as if she was doing them a favor by hanging around with them.

Friendship was beginning to take a backseat to popularity. Heer did try her best at times, but things were never going to be the same as before. Asma, being Heer's cousin, always formed a part of their little group. She and Shifali had developed a close friendship over the years because of Heer being the link.

'Well Mom's booked us a trip to Paris- which I so can't wait for! So I thought why waste my time listening to boring Mr Patel when I can go do SHOPPING' she said, the happiness glowing on her face.

'Wow Heer- you are so lucky- I would love to go to Paris!' said Asma.

'I've been there' said Shifali smirking, 'It's amazing! I don't think I've visited a more beautifully aesthetic place! Anyway- guess what guys?' said Shifali, her grin growing wider.

'What, what, what?' asked Asma excitedly, leaning forward to listen.

'Guess who asked me out today?' she said, and unknowingly a blush crept up her cheeks.

'Oh my goodness!! Really? Preet???!!' asked Heer, genuinely excited for Shifali.

'Yeah!!! He just came up to me during lunch and said he's liked me for a really long time now and that we should meet up sometime- and then he gave me his number, and we arranged to go see a movie on Saturday!!' she spluttered, unable to hold in her excitement.

'Shifali, I'm so happy for you- I knew he wouldn't be able to resist you' said Asma cheekily. Heer tapped Asma on the shoulder.

'What about you Asma? Huh?' grinned Heer.

'What about me? I have no idea what you're talking about!!' blubbered Asma, fiddling around with her pen trying to avoid the topic. Meanwhile Shifali grinned, her mind constantly drifting to thoughts of Preet.

'Come on Asma, don't be so prude. I want to know about you and Yug' prodded Heer.

'There's nothing of that sort going on...' she shook her head and felt her cheeks going red. Heer giggled. 'So what did you buy when you went shopping?' asked Asma quickly steering the conversation to a different direction. Heer elatedly began focusing on her shopping trip, forgetting about everything else around her.

'I got this really nice designer dress...' she started, but stopped as Mr Patel walked into the class and gestured everyone to be silent.

'Good afternoon students. Before I hand out the paper for the next practical test, I am going to give back your grades for your previous test. I was pleased with the majority of results, but will need to have a word with a few of you' he said, his eyes meeting with Heer's. She looked down at her desk in embarrassment, a sudden fear spreading through her body. Mr Patel began handing out the results.

'Here you go Prem- excellent as usual- If there was a grade higher than A+ then I would have given you that!' said Mr Patel smiling as he shuffled to Prem and Meera's desk, handing them their papers. The big 'A+' scribbled at the top of Prem's paper had him beaming. Meera stared down at her 'A-' and patted herself on her back, glad her revision paid off. 'I got an A+' said Prem skimming through his answers and reading Mr Patel's comments on his paper. Meera rolled her eyes and patted his back, 'Course you did Prem...course you did.'

Heer closed her eyes tight as Mr Patel came before her, extending the paper for her to take. 'Room for improvement Miss Maan- a LOT of room!' he said before moving away to hand out the rest of the papers. Shifali and Asma smiled widely as they received their B's. They were happy that despite Mathematics being their weakest subject, they managed to get decent grades for it.

'Heer- what did you get?' asked Shifali.

Heer remained silent and sank down in her chair, staring at the letter that pierced through her like a fork.

How did you find it? I hope Shifali and Asma are happy with the track I have chosen for them, if not, give me a shout and I will change it straight away!! And Ravs, fikar not, you will be introduced in the next part!!
