well said. it's not just in the recent episodes - she's been the very embodiment of heer for the longest time for me. what a transformation the character of heer has gone through from the beginning. and for me, ag has done a superb job every step of the way!
from the first heer - calm and slow and pensive in her little family. who always wondered about her fate and her love. i remember one of the first episodes, where she said that she is not someone who can live on their own - she has to be with someone, in a family.
to the heer who ran into her prem, and knew that they truly did belong to each other.
the same heer who fought against her prem who was trying to arrange a life for her that he thought was best!
the same heer who fought to make him happy even away from his family.
the heer who tried to push him away so that he could have his family.
the heer who then adopted his family, his dreams, his worries, his responsibilities as her own.
the heer who waited patiently for him to tell her 'bout sanjana.
the heer who glowed in anticipation of her marriage to her prem.
the heer who used to dream 'bout prem when he was not there.
the heer who did everything to protect prem's family and prem's dreams.
the heer who made a deal with the (ratpal) devil sacrificing herself.
the heer who fought with this gaurav sharma-prem-lookalike guy to convince him he was prem.
the heer who is now fighting the guy on the outside, and herself on the inside, 'cause this guy is not prem...
i have loved ag's interpretation and enactment of all these heers.
she is heer. everything that she does is ... terrific.
