Hi guys i read an article in DC (Tv Guide ) Today..I found the list of programs with avg TVR..The main Headline was Reality Kills Saas Bahu ..Here are the list of Programmes...

Programme Avg TVR

Balika Vaddu 6.7

Bidaai 6.9
Jai Shri Krishna 4.4
Dulhann 2.2
Kasamh Se 3.3
Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil 3.4
Ramayan 2.3
Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat 3.9

This was the TVR rating from Oct 12 to Nov 10 2008..

But i am confused with one para i got doubt whether they are pointing out Kis desh so thought of sharing with you guys...

But predictabilty was not the only reported cause of death when, in October 2008, the orbituaries of Saas-bahu serials were being written in the offices of channel creative heads. Boredom with their hackneyed stories, concerns and conflicts of saas-bahu was what led the audiences to finally tune off from the cycle of petty kitchen politics and start surfing for a bit of reality..

I am confused with highleghted line yaar..are they pointing out Prem obtituary ads in papers ?? as only Prem's so called happened in october 2008..i dont think any other star's orbituary has shown in october 2008..All the others paras are blah blah abt saas-bahu Vs Reality..

rkjb beat kdmhmd??😕 no offence.... but as far as i know kdmhmd is 2nd rated show on star naa?? when did this show beat it??

No i think they are talking about the obituary of ending of Kasuti and kahani, the ads given for their closing are referred to as obituaries! Anyways that 3.4 was a long time back now KDMHMD is at no. 17 can you believe that? 😭

First of all the current TVR for the show is around 3.75 (check this site: http://www.afaqs.com/perl/media/index.html?sid=22972, they update it every friday) and it is the third most watched show on Star Plus. This is as per data published for week 51 (15 to 18 Dec). However, I am sure the stupid episodes they showed last week will surely reduce the TVRs more. They really need to get their act together. With regards to the highlighted para I think they are talking about how Saas Bahu shows (i.e kyunki and Kahani) have long died and now fail to bringing the audience. Remember both the shows went off air in Oct and Nov. Don't know if you are aware but many of us are writing mails to Star to not split Prem and Heer and make sure the show sticks to its concept. You can join in too. Here is the id -response@in.startv.com

thanks soo much for clarifying my doubt yaar...ya i am aware of petition but i am somewat busy in my VIsa work so i will also join you all so soon and satrt sending mails to SBS..now i understood so they are talking abt saas-bahu shows ended in oct..i read the paper nearly 10 times but i could not point out what they are talking about.as i know only prem's obtiuary ad ie in oct so i thought that and i posted the article here to know furthere from u guys

even i also think de r pointin out Prem's orbitutary thing....truli saying....dat ws relli relli nt gud.....creatives ko aisa nai krna chahiye tha.....it ws relli bad....nt only 4 us{harshitians} bt also 4 harshu's family n frnds.....une kitna bura laga hoga.....😲
