The Juneja's are pretty much the same but they are without Kulraaj and the kids and her hubbie. Also, Prem, preet, harman and veera have another two sisters, Hinna (Megha Gupta) and Ridhi (Soni Singh (Jhumki from betiyann, Surili from BMTD and Kajal from TB) ). Ok well i guesse thats not pretty much the same lol
but yeh, hope u guys like the ff.
Chapter One
'Err-Would you like to sit down?' I half stood up uncertainly and motioned to my seat. The pregnant woman standing in the aisle of the bus, looked over at me with an expression half way between surprise and gratefulness and nodded, waddling carefully over to where I was sitting.
I smiled at her and stood up fully, edging past the sleeping man next to me to let Pregnant Lady sit down in my seat. What a good start to the day I thought, smiling happily. Now that I've been nice to this woman, my future boss will just have to hire me. That was, after all, how karma worked. Which means that I'll get the job. Which means that I can make enough money to move out of the Juneja's house with Meher and Sim. Which means that I probably won't see Prem as much. Which means --Shit. Why am I thinking about him again? I've never had a proper conversation with him for God's sake. He should be the last person I would think about. I should be thinking about, umm, Harman instead! Wait a tick, not Harman; I've never had a proper conversation with him either. Yes, I've got it Preet! I've had heaps of conversations with him. Which mainly involve him teasing me about Prem (God knows how he found out my, umm, crush on him) and me denying it, which ends up in me hitting him and him laughing. God, he is so annoying sometimes. But I'd miss him if I moved away. Not as much as I'd miss Prem though. I mean, God, he is so ho ?argh I'm thinking about him again. All right I just will not think about moving away. Period.
I glanced over at Pregnant Lady again, who had finally managed to get past the sleeping man without touching or waking him.
'Thank you so much' she was saying to me now, as she plopped down on the seat, fanning herself with a pamphlet. 'I thought I was going to have to stand all the way to my stop. Which would have been hell, because mines the last stop.' She laughed lightly. She had one of those laughs that people on TV had.
Looking at her up close I saw that she looked vaguely familiar, and that she was absolutely gorgeous. She looked like she'd been photoshopped! She had the kind of flawless skin which little kids have -and which I, and many other girls, would die to have. Not that I've got bad skin though, everyone tells me that my skin is really clear. And then they ask what I use on it. To which I'd like to answer that I don't use anything in fact, it's just all of the vegetables and fruit I eat, combined with regular exercise like all the celebrities. But I don't, because it's not true. I mean I do eat lots of fruits and veggies but I can't even remember the last time I exercised. I'm not even sure why my skin is so clear. Maybe it's genes or something. Anyway back to Pregnant Lady.
Her hair was coal black and fell in layers to her waist, kinda like Bipasha's hair. Before she cut it. Her eyes were almond shaped and even though she looked weary and exhausted she was still beautiful. Judging by her clothes and jewellery it seemed that she was quite rich. But why was she on the bus, I wondered. And what kind of husband would let his very pregnant wife travel alone on a bus. When I'm pregnant I will never travel alone on a bus. Ever. Unless of course it's an emergency. Like the time when Meher the idiot put the blow dryer in the sink. God. I can't even remember why we were travelling in a bus that time. Oh well.
I stumbled as the bus jerked to an abrupt stop. I waved at Pregnant Lady, who waved back at me and walked quickly down the aisle. I smiled and thanked the bus driver who smiled at me cheerily. Finally, I stepped off the bus and walked the short distance to my (hopefully) future work place.
Jeet's Catering Business spread out proudly in front of me. The building was pretty big and looked quite intimidating to me. As I watched, two elegant women left the building with an important looking man.
Well, here goes nothing, I thought, before I walked through the rotating doors.
* * * *
'Thank you, again Mr Sharma!' I shouted in the direction of his door, after just leaving his office. 'I won't let you down!'
I heard him chuckling and laughed giddily myself. I got the job! And who knew that Mr Sharma, CEO of JCB could be so funny.
After asking about the job I was told to go into his office by the snooty secretary, where he sat me down and asked me some questions. When I told him which city I originally came from his eyes lit up and for the next hour we talked about our town. I told him of the latest things that were happening before I left to live with the Juneja's, and he told me embarrassing stories about people I'd known before. It was so funny and about ten minutes before now he told me that I'd gotten the job. REPEAT: gotten the j o b. Oh My God! I was soo excited and couldn't stop thanking him. After noticing the time I told him that I had to leave and then finally left.
I felt as if I were walking on air. Everything had gone by so smoothly and nicely. I couldn't wait to tell Meher! She'd be so happy.
I sighed contently to myself and was just about to leave the building when I bumped, headfirst into something hard. The impact sent me to the floor and I cried out from a sudden jarring pain in my ankle. f**k. I think I've sprained it. Or more like, that person had sprained it.
I looked up angrily, ready to swear my head off at this idiot when I saw who it was and felt my heart start to beat faster. And faster. And it had nothing to do with the pain or the anger.
It did however, have something to do with Prem -who was right now standing in front of me.
He looked down at me and raised an eyebrow. I felt my heart beat even faster at this. He looked amazing. He was wearing black pants and black shoes, with a pale blue button down shirt. His shirt sleeves were rolled back and the top two buttons had been left undone. Oh My God. I vaguely wondered if he had any feelings for me. He could easily have hid it. I mean the only times I saw him was when the whole family was eating dinner or on the occasional weekend.
It took a moment for me to realise that I was staring at him, speechless. Forget having any feelings for me, he probably thought I was deranged. I quickly composed my face and opened my mouth to say hi when he spoke.
'Why are you here Heer?' He asked me, bemusedly. 'And why weren't you looking where you were going? I have an important meeting to attend to, do you mind moving out the way?'
Ok, after he said my name I remember feeling like jumping for joy, and thinking that he knows my name, he knows my name! But after hearing the rest I felt anger bubbling up inside me again. How mean is that. He didn't even ask me if I was all right. Why wasn't he looking where he was going?
Shaking his head, Prem had already walked around me, going to attend his important meeting no doubt. Well, there was no way he was going to get away from me without hearing what I had to say.
'Prem!' I shouted heatedly. I attempted to get up, stalk up to him and point my finger angrily in his direction but my foot started hurting as soon as I put any pressure on it. Fine, then, I could yell at him just as well on the ground.
After hearing me yell his name Prem had turned around and was looking at me as if I was deranged. All the people in vicinity had also turned around to stare at me, but I tried not to care. All I had to do was scream at Prem.
'How can you just say that to me? "Do you mind moving out of the way",' I said in a horribly deep imitation of his voice. 'Did you not think that there is a reason that I am not "moving out of the way". That maybe, just maybe my ankle is broken because you crashed into me. Yes, that's right, you.' I exclaimed when I saw him open his mouth to protest. 'And, why do you need to know why I am here? Who are you to me? Actually, I don't even think I've talked to you before now. So why do you need to know why I'm here huh?'
By the end of my outburst, I was breathing hard and some people were looking at me in awe. An elderly woman wearing glasses which made her eyes look huge, started clapping, looking at me with surprise.
But it was Prem's reaction that would count the most. I'd been staring him in the face while I was speaking, but I hadn't looked at him since I'd finished. Gathering my courage I swallowed, looked up and saw his face.
THE END!
i hope u liked it, plz comment
