raksha I completely agree wid u.I must admit the story so far is gud(mind me only premeer story not of the rest of the zoo).Though I hate this prem's supposed d**** track.

I hope the creatives wont spoil the essence of eternal luv so far they r talking abt.I just wish to see heer making her own decisions frum now on not like bauji chahte, prem chahta, maa chahti hai and all.I wud luv to see her as an independent woman strong, powerful living wid memories of her soulmate.

Creatives hav spoiled the image of prem I had by making him say those stupid things to heer get married hav kids and all.Now I dont want them to spoil the image of heer who believes tht she is made for prem by showing her getting married bcoz prem said or bauji asked or maa told or for society sake and all

Hi Guys,
I really cant understand Prem's or should I say destructive's thought processes. Firstly, Prem expects Heer to marry someone else. As per Hindu tradition if you marry someone you give him seven janams. So how does he expect to unite with her in next janam. Next Prem believes completely in the capabilities of his two brothers then why does he expect poor orphan Heer who has never even stoodup for herself (remember DJ and her beatings) to fulfill their responsibilities. If he really wants her to be happy married to someone else then what is the reasoning behind burdening her with neverending problems? Why are the creatives hellbent on destroying his character after destroying his life?

nice topic...and i agree with you totally.
but going by the new promo where Heer is in white(i suppose that symbolises her being Prem's widow) saying that she will fullfil all Prem's dreams and be the new Prem, i dont think she is going to get married anytime soon...
It will be stupid to show Heer marrying someone else....whats the point of their "eternal love" then? If their love fades away in one lifetime how will it last an eternity? Its now time for Heer to prove her love...now i guess they'll show her as a strong independent Heer..she'll take care of the family and carry out all Prem's duties......well just until he's back...then they'll do it together😳😊
Even if the family wants Heer to get married, i think she will totally refuse, saying Prem is still alive in her heart and she cant give that place to anyone else. Atleast thats what "The Heer" would do.
For now we just have to hope that Prem is back soon....and there's no new entry in the form of Heer's "love interest".
God save the show! or rather, Prem save the show!!!

Rakshoo di, I absolutely agree with you. Marriage is not the solution to everything.....actually anything.

But in the serial world, not only in BT serials, but almost every serial.......marriage is shown as the solution to everything. BT especially contradicts itself. They put female power in maximum focus, and at the end of the day, their heroines get married for whatever reasons.........and for a certain period remains in male dominance. While in other serial........the males dominate through and through, excepting for the time when the story forces the females to fight alone. I mean absolutely alone.

Coming back to the topic...........I feel very offended whenever, in order to protect the female lead, marriage is thought as the solution. The serial world represents things in such a way as if women have no better thing to do than get married. They hardly ever focus on the professional part of a woman's life. Or about their obssession or any of their passion. That's why, youngster's are more attracted to DMG and MJHT nowadays.........and more importantly in english series. Trps are based mostly on the shows that are popular among housewives.......thats why BT shows or any other marriage-is-the-only-solution show are booking the top places in the trp charts. No offence to housewives...........as I dont mean anyone specifically, I am just stating facts. Even me......I watch such shows, but also watch DMG, MJHT and english shows.

I hardly ever see eye-to-eye with the character sketch of the female leads in typical indian shows. Thats why whenever I feel offended I stop watching them. This is not the case with DMG, MJHT and other english series. However complains I have about them, I can never say that women in those serials have no ambition or independence.

The main problem is that female leads have no career and thus their stories revolve around marriages........and marriage is the only solution for them, which in reality is not the case.

Sorry rakshoo di, for giving such a long bashan.........when I could just end the topic with 'I agree'😳........but I just had to take this all out.............😆

Luv
Mels

nice topic raksha .i completely agree wid u.........plz creatives need to use their heads n most importantly they need to chnage their so called mentality ..........that marriage is not a solution of everything.............specially in case of girl most of d serials shows same thing ......that a girl always needs a man support.she can't live her life widout getting a stamp of mrs.....n surname of his husband wid her name..........n same they trying to show in kdmhmd..............
