All for TRPs!! A new low even for Ekta

I know all of you are pretty upset (understatement) and livid with the ad that has been published in Mumbai Mirror. What I don't understand is why is Balaji and Star going through all this trouble to convince us that Prem is dead? You are showing promos where his fiancee is garlanding his pic and you have clearly shown in the precap his brothers' identifying his dead body so why is his death being publicised so much? If Balaji and Star don't care what the fans think about killing Prem then why justifyor publicise it? Why do all this SBS, Aaj Tak programmes where you go out of your way to publicise a character's death (after all this is a show and business for Ekta and Balaji, right? It's only the fans who live Prem and Heer's life). At one end Balaji claims that Harshad's character was always supposed to die. So fine. You killed him and you are planning to move on so move on. Harshad's fans won't watch the show, why is Balaji and Star bothered? They think if they loose old audience they'll get new ones, right? I think this is a publicity stunt. She wants Prem's death to create the same hue and cry that Mihir's death did. But the entire ad was in bad taste. I really hope that Harshad was aware of the ad and hope that his family also knew. His poor parents imagine their state of mind to see their living son's obit in a morning newspaper. I think we should write a strong letter to Star and Balaji showing them our displeasure. We should write to SBS and ask them to get Vikas Goopta to explain the need to stoop so low. Can tellybuzz speak to the creatives of the show to ask them how they stoop so low for TRPs?
