This sounds more plausible. But I would think that both Harshad and Additi would be part of the new show as it is said to be a love story. Guess that Ekta had not anticipated that Premeer as a jodi would be this successful. This explains why KDMHDM's storyline is going nowhere these days. The creatives are just confused about how to proceed with the storyline. They cannot kill Prem off and destroy the USP of the show and at the same time change the storyline completely. .
Also, we are overreacting without knowing the full details. We are just getting to hear bits here and there from both sides. The reality is that Harshad was signed with the understanding that he would be there only for part of the show and then his contract would end. So, let us wait and watch what happens. We do not know whether his contract is being terminated as per plan, is going to be extended or that he is leaving off his own accord. It could also be that he had started looking around for other work and a better deal as he has become popular since KDMHDM.
We should wait and see what happens. The character may die but Ekta and Harshad are still around and the politics within this industry will always carry on. We will never know the real story - only different versions of it..
We as the audience should watch the show for entertainment only (and achieve our goals) and let Ekta and the actors follow and achieve their goals.
