The Manns and Junejas have been friends for years. Although the Juneja paarivar has been settled in Canada for most of their childrens lives, the two families maintain a close relationship through Balraj Maan and Lalit Juneja. The children have never corresponded before with the exception of Ashleshas and Harmans secret e-mails back and forth. A visit to India sparks many new emotions, adventures and twists altogether. Prem and Heers love takes root, sprouts and blossoms, all done away from the eyes of their respected families. What will happen when the veil covering their love is opened? Will Prem and Heer ever be one?

The heads of the Juneja khandhan, although have spent so many years in Canada, both remain pakka Hindustani at heart. Lalit is an ambitious man; good at heart though sometimes is blind to his childrens needs. His better half is none other then Gayatri who is still the simple girl he married yet with stronger values. She has never felt at home in Canada and is longing to be back in her country.

Harman Juneja


Is the oldest of the three Juneja brothers. He was previously married and dotted on his wife and was left heartbroken when his wife was killed in a car accident leaving him a single father too little Arjun. He is a very hard-working man as he wants to give everything he can to his adorable son but this results in him working long hours and often missing out on family life. Since the age of 10 he has been exchanging e-mail regularly with his childhood friend Ashlesha Mann. For Harman, his parents come first.

Prem Juneja


Prem is the middle child in his masti filled family. He is a very shy, down to earth guy who values his relationships and family to no extent. Although he has long joined his family business he is not working obsessed and enjoys spending time with the people he loves. He is the apple of his mothers eye and will marry only to the girl his mother chooses for him despite the fact he has believed in true love his entire life.

Preet Juneja


The youngest Juneja who believes he is Gods send for everyone on Earth. A fun loving, carefree guy who spends his time pampering his only nephew and playing endless pranks on various people, people who usually end up annoying him end up on the receiving end of his pranks. Does not believe in love because he sees the state in which his oldest brother is due to falling heads over heels in love. But this all changes when he meets the youngest member of the Mann family.

Balraj and Teji Mann


A very simple couple, despite having many riches in life continues to live a very decent and simple life. Their lives revolve around their three daughters. They are known to be very hard-working, honest people who rely on their daughters to keep the families izzat.

Ashlesha Mann


The oldest of the tree daughters, the most modern but still is very down to earth. When the Junejas were leaving to Canada, she could not bear the thought of having to leave her best friend thus she continues to exchange e-mails with Harman, consoling him in his hardships, applauding him through his success. A lawyer by profession, Ashlesha commonly known as Ash will do anything to keep her familys reputations from any stains.

Heer Mann


The quietest, most traditional girl in all of Ambala. Although she looks very decent no one in the whole of Punjab can come up with a feistier reply. For Heer, upholding her familys reputation is her biggest duty in her life and will go to any extents to keep it that way. A natural dream girl, her head is always in the clouds. Family, tradition, love, honesty these are the traits she lives by.

The bubbliest, talkative, mischievous girl you can imagine! Goofing around, teasing, getting on peoples nerves is what she lives for! Nothing can be hid from this girl and she has no idea how much of an impact she has in peoples lives. Her moods can be dangerous yet she in a great girl to be around. Being the youngest she if often spoiled though this keeps her as neutral as ever! Meeting Preet Juneja and his family is just one of the many troubles in her life!
