Title: Socha Na Tha!
Story is totally different from the original KDMHMD. It?s of a typical middle class family and not too much nor too less like that. HEER is like any other teenage girl of the world today. Of course having dreams of her own but at the same time not very out going. Not of making friends type. She has only one friend till date though she has many hi-bye friends. But she doesn't like to get attached to people too much. Though she is a teenage girl she has a much matured thinking for a young girl. And she has great regards for her parents specially her father. She respects him too much to be told. She may go against her mom but not her dad. She has an elder brother who is a typical brother. They don't share a free conversation relation between the two. He is her brother and she is his sister. And nothing more than that. No friend?s type going on in the scene. They don't even wish on special occasions. It?s all understood without a conversation.
PREM 26 year old has one elder sister and one elder brother. They both r married and he is the youngest one in the family. And works in other city. i.e. PREM travels every weekend to his place. He is very sensible, intelligent, cares for his family a lot. Has high regards for his family. And loves his friends. And very soft spoken and has loads of patience.
It all starts on one morning when HEER is going to college with her brother who is dropping her off. And it so happens that a family friend of hers saw her after a long time and had an immediate thought which would soon change her life. He was a friend of PREM's too. Infact a very good friend and when he saw HEER he thought that she would be perfect for his friend Prem.
He immediately spoke to HEER's maamu and told him about PREM. and it so happens that her maamu knows PREM's family very well and her maamu comes to HEER's place and tells them about the marriage proposal. Initially her family is very skeptical because one she is too young to be married and two she is still studying. Infect there have been proposals coming her way from a very long time. Cause she may be a teenage girl but looks like a young woman. But her family has been ignoring all the proposals because of her age. And she is totally unaware of all the happenings. Then again the family decides to give it a shot.
One important thing here is that Prem's friend has no clue of Heer's age nor what she is studying. He has mistaken her age and so r Prem and his family. So everything is decided and one fine weekend Prem with his parents and friend comes to Heer's place to meet her. Remember all this while he is totally unaware of her age and studies.Heer being father's daughter had agreed to see the guy. In her mind she thought today or tomorrow I?ve to get married...
When u get a nice marriage proposal. When the boy is well educated. When u hear the guy is very good. He has a good job. Then why not. Studies can be completed even after marriage. So she gives it a try.Prem is seated on the couch.Heer comes with a tray full of snacks and drinks. She walks up to the couch where all r sitting and gives them their plates. She is too shy to look at the guy who has come to see her. And also she is not able to see the guy. Because all r staring at them. Finally she serves them and leaves from there.Prem have seen her. And he is totally lost. He liked the dress she was wearing. She looked elegant for him. And he was quite happy with the looks. Only thing was he wanted to know how she talks and how she is in person. But he kept quiet.
When she comes inside she tries to see him through a room window but she is not able to see him. So all the elders talk and Prem and his family leave. Now u may be thinking what happened? No talks no conversation no exchange of names? Well yeah this is what happens in a typical family.So.when Prem has left all the family members gather around
Heer with questions. Did u see him? How does he look? And all sorts of question. All Heer could say was. I didn't see the guy and I need his photograph. All were amazed at what she had asked. Usually at her place no girl has asked for boy's pic it's only the other way around where a boy's family is supposed to take girl's pic.but anyways.she asked for it and her maamu assured her he would get the pic.
That night Heer was trying to recall the guy she saw. All she could come up with was the tip of his nose when she had held the tea cup. She was not able to sleep. She was thinking. Now what? On the other hand
Prem is with his friends. Who r asking about the girl he had just seen in the day. All he could say was. She looks good. But I need to talk to her. He excuses himself. And goes to his home.
Where they r discussing the girl and now is the time when they bring up her age. And he is totally shocked to know that she is only 17.he can't believe his ears. He can't believe that the girl whom he just saw for marriage is a teenager. He thought. She doesn?t look like a teenager. She didn't even behave like one.oh.now what? Somehow his family members convinced him to think over it. So he said. I?ll give it a try. I?ll think about it. And he went to sleep.
Even he couldn't sleep through the night. He thought if he had known her age then never would've he gone to see her. He cursed his friend in his mind. His cousin is a very close friend of Heer's maamu.he comes to visit Prem.and Prem expresses his thoughts regarding Heer.but his cousin assures him.that he has seen Heer.and she is very matured for her age.and that he shouldn't take all these things into mind..Prem is still not convinced. Somehow next day i.e., Monday leaves for his job.
Monday.Heer as usual goes to her college.but all she could think about was the guy and how it would go further.She gets back home from her college.and goes to her room for studying.and still she couldn't stop thinking about Prem.
Here Prem is busy in his work. He returns to his room (he stays with his friends in this other city) and he sees his friend who had brought the marriage proposal. And all started teasing Prem.taking Heer's name.
Prem said to that friend. What sort of a friend r u? Such a waste no phone calls anything. How will I know how she is in person if I don't talk to her? Saying this he goes to washroom to freshen up. By the time he came out. All his friends? r giggling and so on. He asks what happened. On the other hand here in Heer's place phone is ringing. It?s getting disconnected sort of a blank call going on. Now Heer's brother is annoyed.Heer who is in the room.is thinking.can't Prem call her? Infact whenever the phone rang all she could think of was Prem.may be Prem called.

Here in Prem's room his friend shoved the phone to his hands and said.talk to her.Prem couldn't understand. and then it flashed to him that his friends had really called up Heer's place. And it was ringing. And all his friends were laughing.
Here in Heer's place.Heer's bro was getting angry as to who is calling so many times.when the phone rang he picked it up immediately and said HELLO in a bit loud voice..Prem was like.oh.this can't be happening what can I talk to her.he cursed his friend again.but he had the phone in his hand Heer's brother had answered it.so he had to speak up.
